The Great Harold Ramis Passed Away Today.  His Work Meant A Great Deal To Me; Not Only Ghostbusters

A rough Doctor Who sketch from 2000 or 2001, done to stave off the boredom of the retail job I had back then.  I wasn't allowed to nap, so the Doctor got to instead.

I sketched this clandestinely behind the store's counter in black ballpoint.  This scan is color-corrected to counteract the old cheap ink having gone a bit violet over the years.  Around 9x6".

I stencilized Trollface.  It was my first shot at making a stencil out of someone else's image and it came out ugly as hell, but the original Trollface is also ugly as hell and that has done nothing to diminish my eternal love for him.

My Mother the Matchmaker

I made this comic for /r/behindthegifs, a subreddit where the idea is to take a GIF that's going around and make a comic that tells what led up to it.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out after scratching it together at stupid o'clock in the morning.

Today’s daily doodle is the Dreadful Flying Glove from the film Yellow Submarine, my favorite thing with which the Beatles were ever tangentially involved.

Even if, like me, you’re not all that much of a Beatles fan, see this movie at least once.  It’s beautiful.

More The Wicker Man nonsense.  My extra-derpy Nicholas Cage from my earlier piece is now a brand mascot, paying tribute to another memorable line from that cinematic bee-sting.  Would you buy your next bottle of God Damn Honey from this man?

A charming and familiar-looking Renaissance lady I digital-painted, with Leonardo's original open in another window.

Going through my pin collection, I unearthed a "The Hunger Games" mockingjay which I'd purchased in darker times.

I like it a lot more now that I've given it a Woody Woodpecker paint job.

I was screwing around with the Doctor Who Red Nose Day special short "Space/Time" (see those first if you haven't) and this accidentally happened.
