MY TIME LINE IS SO BLESSED TODAY!! ITS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!!!!! 😭😭😭😍♥️❤️🥰🥹🥹😭🥰
Its bedtime and the emperor is forced by all his now children sons to be tell a bedtime story
A chorus of little voices overtook the room.
"Story! Story! Story!
"I want a story!"
"Yay! Story!"
"A different one that last time, please!"
"No story, no sleep!"
"I'm not even tired!"
"I'm sleepy..."
"Please, please, please, can we have a story?"
Leman screamed, "Ssssstttooooorrrrrrrryyy!!!"
The emperor pressed a finger to his lips and hushed the room.
"Alright, alright," he said calmly. "One story, and it's off to bed."
"Yes!" Horus pumped his fist, and Magnus quickly did little claps.
"Tales of Ursh." Lion insisted.
Perturabo side-eyed him, "we just heard that one."
"What about a story about you!" Lorgar offered, staring up at his father.
"How about one of my favorites that's new for you?" The Emperor offered.
Cheers confirmed it.
"Is it boring?" Jaghatai asked.
Mortarion shyly asked, "Is it scary?"
The Emperor took his hand and led them to the viewing room. With so many of them, it was easier to have the book displayed on a screen as they huddled around him.
"It is called 'The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents' by Terry Pratchett. A masterful writer of ancient Terra."
Magnus lit up, "Oh! I've read some things by him before! They were good!"
As the emperor sat on the couch, Fulgrim climbed up, "Is this a funny story?"
"Yes," their father assured.
"Who is Maurice?" Ferrus inquired. "Is he human?"
"He is a talking cat."
"And he educates rats?" Asked Roboute with wide eyes.
"They also talk."
Rogal frowned, "Animals don't talk."
Vulkan did his happy dance, "I'm excited!"
Angron shuffled his feet, "Will I like this story?"
The emperor nodded and pulled him into his lap. Horus sat next to his brother. Fulgrim was next to the Emperor's side. Sanguinius sat atop his shoulders to not bend his fluffy wings. Lorgar always wanted to be as close as possible and wedged himself between the emperor and the couch, resting his head on his shoulder. Konrad and Corvus were on his other side and under his arm. Lion. Leman and Angron sat at his feet. Roboute sat on his knee. The others were settled around him, cuddled up with each other. He knew Alpharius and Omegon would be under the couch by now, peering out.
The screen flickered to life with the first page of the book. An illustration was with it. Some of the boys "oohed" and "aahed" as they saw it.
He began reading, and they all sat as the story enraptured them.

The Demigod and his Lover
You can't convince me Jesus wasn't queer. And Judus was a jilted lover. Both destined to die because of one another. "You betray me with a kiss"
I also totally personally headcannon Jesus as a Trans man.
And like Jesus wouldn't be the best lover. What I mean is he is a giver. Like sure, it's good to be generous, but he wanted to change the world by hand. He was also constantly getting himself in trouble. He threw over the tables of the taxcollecters. He mocked monarchs and said fuck capitalism, everybody gets to eat. He believed in the fundamental good of humanity but was also a chaos gremlin.
He is the half son of one of the biggest narcissistic bipolar gods. And as much as he uses it to his advantage,(like he'd use the "do u know who my father is" for threat and excuse) he also goes around trying to clear up some of his dad's messes. Trying to spread peace and love whether people wanted it or not.
Okay, I can't put into words how much this art means to me!!!!
The Last Unicorn is possibly my favourite animated movie! It wasn't my favourite growing up because I couldn't fully grasp it. When I was growing up, I always thought it was a fever dream I had, and no one else I talked to knew about it.
But not too long after I realised I was trans (late teens), I rewatched it and Oh my gods!
I cried at the scene where she realised she was made human and yelled out. "I wish you had let the Red Bull take me! I wish you had left me to the harpy! I can feel this body DYING all around me!" Every moment, every quote. 🫠😍
So, seeing others make fan art and see that others remember it! It truly is wonderful 🥹
I know I am human, but something deep within me resonates so close with The Unicorn and her perspective.
do you hear me? YOU LOST HER. you’ve trapped her in a human body. SHE’LL GO MAD.
Jebdkqkevdja!!!!!! 🥹❤️💖💜♥️😍🫠YES YES YES YES!!! I FUCKIN LOVE SLAANESH MORTY!! I WANNA SQUEEZE AND SNUGGLE AND SNIFF HIM SO BAD ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY!!!!!!
Honestly I have so many ideas about the chaos gods swap AU, but I’m worried my english ain’t good enough to actually try to write something serious
I might though try and throw together some facts and bits of plot if anyone would wanna read that 😅
Slaanesh!Morty has occupied my mind and he won’t leave (he is just too lazy to move ig)
Judge me if you must, but I think this is a cute head canon.
Morticia(Mortarion) is super grunge, sure, but i can totally see her after an isolating and stressful day leading a gruesome atrition campaign, settling down with her colouring book, plushy and playing old holotapes of some mindless imperial propaganda cartoon(think old loony toons)
This may not be a popular way to unwind, but it's her's.
OKI DOKI HERE'S A RANT ABOUT MY NECRON OCS AND THEIR DYNAMIC! READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!
Character mentioned: Asenath (Necron Phaerakh), Akhethetep the Abyssal (Cryptek Dimensionalist), Tethys (Exodite Eldar turned Drukhari Succubus, mentioned only briefly and is not that important to the story of the Necron OCs)
So, what I was trying to do recently is figure out the timeline of Asenath's Tombworld awakening.
For those that need a reminder or don't know: the current Asenath, 40k Asenath, is not the same person as the original Phaerakh of the dynasty that went to sleep (still trying to come up with the dynasty name... Dang it). She is actually the disciple of the Cryptek Dimensionalist Akhethetep the Abyssal. Due to unknown error in with the Tombworld awakening, she not only was (one of) the first to wake up, she also woke up in the body of the Phaerakh, with the real Asenath's mind/programming nowhere to be seen (possibly gone forever).
I wanted "Asenath" to wake up and realize she is no longer in her original body, but in the body of her Phaerakh. Something that leads to her having a complete breakdown as not only does her lowly self dared to encroach on Phaerakh's glory like that, but also this isn't her body, this isn't her title, she is NOT a Phaerakh, those are not her subjects, she has no right to command them and lead them. But is there other choice? With the original Asenath gone?
She stays huddled up in her crypt, angsting and trying to figure out on what she should do next. Asenath, the current one, may have knowledge on manipulating the fabric of reality itself, but she has no clue how to navigate politics. She has no clue how to wake up the rest of the Necrons... And should she even do it? What are they gonna do to her once they realize she is not the real Asenath? Should she lie? How long can she uphold that lie?
She angsts for only a small amount of time (two years) before her Tombworld is visited by a young boy, a laborer of the Underhive that got to curious, dug to deep and ended up here. Asenath is confused, but, as a scientist, is also intrigued. What is this creature? How did it get here? Are there more of them? She attempts communicating with the child and, well, neither of them are dead yet. The child leads her outside of her tomb, Asenath is introduced to humanity and is both disgusted, but also genuinely intrigued. She eventually learns the Gothic through listening to people talking and analyzing the patterns and is able to properly communicate with the boy. He tells her everything he knows (not a lot, lol), but she picks up on things the boy himself doesn't know. She decides to keep the humanity for the sake of studying them. If the Tombworld is to wake up, she will try to use her newfound authority to spare the humans and to enslave them instead (something she has no qualms about).
Here's where it gets complicated: Asenath doesn't know how to awake her Tombworld and would have to rely on her master, Akhethetep, to teach her instead. But how is he supposed to do that if he is asleep? Besides, Akhethetep killed the population of Tethys' Maiden World, leaving her the sole survivor... Tethys herself is supposed to be a very old Eldar, around 5 thousand years old.
Meanwhile, Asenath woke up only a thousand years before the 13th Black Crusade.
Meaning, Akhethetep has to be the first one to wake up, with Asenath being the second.
This could also contribute to the story by potentially being the reason "Asenath" is in her current situation. His awakening botched "Asenath's" own.
I will decide later what Akhethetep was doing this whole time while the rest of the Tombworld slept. Perhaps old man simply got curious about the current state of the Galaxy and snuck off like a teen sneaking off from their bedroom at night to go party. Perhaps he tried to awaken his dear disciple, so that she could accompany him, but something went wrong and he reluctantly had to leave her there. Maybe he left the message that Asenath later found that explained their situation.
There's another thing, should I make Akhethetep aware that his Phaerakh's mind was replaced by his student?
Him not knowing could lead to much angst and him feeling guilty on her machine body still slumbering, while the rest of the Necrons are already awake (with Asenath standing to the side and wondering if she should tell him).
Meanwhile, Akhethetep knowing or figuring out early on that real Asenath was replaced by his student sounds more interesting. On one hand, this is his student who is in this situation because of him being impatient, with her being scared and confused. On the other hand, he basically has the ruler of the entire dynasty in the palm of his hand. Asenath loves her master and sees him as a sort of a father figure. Akhethetep knows this, the master/deciple dynamic tangled with father figure/daughter figure dynamic (still, they don't refer to each other using family terms, neither in public, private nor to themselves). Asenath trusts and listens to Akhethetep... Wouldn't that make him the true ruler of the dynasty? Such power! It's almost tempting, doesn't it...? Perhaps, Asenath is aware of it as well, and tries to grow independent from her master, however she still has much to learn about Necron politics and has no choice but to turn to him for advice, lest she jeopardizes the future of the entire dynasty. She doesn't hate him, she just wishes things were different. Akhethetep says Asenath is smart and is doing the right thing by questioning his word and taking her time with answers, being unbiased, but... is he telling her the truth? Or is he only telling Asenath what would make her feel better?
Yeah, phew, Necrons are extremely hard to write. But fun and the results come out very interesting!
End of rambling, lol!
It's not fair 😭 im a good person. I commit tax fraud, and when i pass by a rich person's house, i always shit on their lawns. (for legal reasons, that's a joke).
