I saw that requests were open... I was curious if you could do a senku x reader where they were already dating in the modern world. However, he didn’t get to revive (y/n) before he had to leave for the village. So when questioned by Gen about romance, senku is all like, “I’m in a relationship already. (Y/n) is still petrified,” and everyone is like super shocked! You can add a reunion if you want but it’s up to you! Only specific is that (y/n) is preferably shorter than senku! I just thought it was a cute concept! It can be Drabble or head cannon - approach it however you feel is best! 💕

Gen was desperately trying to avoid his tasks. There was so much to do, and he was so tired...The first thing that came to his mind was to ask Senku embarrassing questions, hoping to distract him if just for a minute or two.

“So, Senku-chan, do you have your eyes set on a special someone?~” Gen purred while allowing his arms to rest. It made Senku's eyebrows raise and Gen truly didn't expect an answer from him. After all, that was Senku they were talking about...

“What do you mean? I'm already in a relationship, mentalist. (Y/n) is still petrified.” Senku replied as if it was obvious.

Gen, and everyone around who was eavesdropping, let out a shriek of stupefaction.

“Y-You're already in a relationship?!” Chrome screeched, pointing his finger at Senku almost accusingly.

“That's what I said. With Tsukasa coming into the picture, I couldn't revive them...” Senku started, feeling his heart aches, but he was quick to push it away. “Anyway, that's none of your business. Get back to work!” Everyone groaned in unison.

However, they couldn't deny that the sight of Senku looking miserable even if it was only for a second, made their heart drop in compassion.

To be honest, Senku didn't stop thinking about you since he woke up. Hell, he even couldn't stop thinking about you for all these years when he was still petrified.

At that time, the only thing on his mind was to revive you. But he was afraid. Afraid that you would be in danger, afraid that he couldn't protect you from what may come.

And when Tsukasa showed...the thought of losing you made him sick, and he knew that it was for the best to revive you later when everything was safe again.

That didn't mean he wasn't devasted. He was good at hiding it, but he longed for your touch and your kisses every second he passed without you.

But he told himself that your safety was what most mattered to him and that soon, you would be here again and then he would feel whole once more.

After the fight with Hyoga, and having to put Tsukasa in a cryogenic state, Senku was exhausted. No matter what Tsukasa did, Senku still considered him as a friend. And now, he had to do everything in his power to heal him.

And that meant no rest for him. They had to build a ship and revive a navigator that could lead them across the sea. They didn't have a lot of revival fluid left, and he knew he had to choose wisely.

But right now? Senku wanted nothing more than to find you and finally awake you from your petrified sleep.  

Maybe it was selfish of him, but every obstacle and every danger that they will have to face from now on, Senku wanted to brave them with you. He was drained, and even if he was grateful for every friend that he made along the way, nobody could comfort him like you.

“I think someone is waiting for you, Senku.” Kohaku suddenly told him, seeing how much the poor man was in need of your company. “Let's revive this (y/n)! I'm curious to meet someone that can handle your behavior.” She winked at him as everyone agreed, and Senku mentally thanked her.

It didn't take long to find you. After all, Senku couldn't forget where you laid.

Yuzuriha already made clothes for you, as Taiju stated that it would be inappropriate to see Senku's lover naked. And for once, Senku couldn't help but agree.

Dropping the revival fluid on your statue, everyone watched in anticipation. Senku could feel his heart beat loudly in his chest, knowing that after all these years, he was going to see you again.

And when the stones cracked, freeing your body, Senku let out the frail breath he was holding.

He watched how your eyes slowly opened, blinking in confusion, before meeting his gaze. Your face instantly brightened, sending him that lovely smile that Senku missed oh so much.

“Had a good sleep-” But he couldn't even finish that you were already in his arm, shouting his name in glee.

He chuckled at your reaction but held you tighter nonetheless. Senku buried his head in your hair, so nobody could see his watery eyes.

“I knew you would come for me!” You stated, before leaning into him once more and crashing your lips onto his, much to his delight. He missed the taste of your kisses.

He could hear the shocked gasps, and Gen shooing everyone away as to give you both more privacy. He could also hear Ginro's whine, “but I want to see them kiss!” and Kinro's embarrassed reprimand. He could feel you chuckle and he couldn't help but smile into the kiss with you.

Finally pulling away, Senku started to slowly stroke your cheek while you leaned against his warm touch.

“Of course I would have come for you. Who could have helped me save the world, if not you?” He whispered tenderly, and you smiled at his words.

“Then I guess we have a lot of work to do, huh?” “Ten billion points for you!”

Favorite trait about Ryusui?

Hi friend!!! My favorite thing about him has to be his abs! I’m joking obviously please don’t beat me lol. But I really like his determination. You can really say that about anyone in dr stone but I feel like he captures it so well. Like he never stops no matter what but he also makes sure his desire isn’t harming the mission overall. A good example of this is when they were going to the moon and he wanted to go. He knew Stanley was better so he insisted Stanley pilot instead of him BUT that doesn’t mean he still wasn’t going to go. He still went but he made sure that the plan would work before he made a decision if that makes sense. I also like how he tries to bring humanities culture back. Senku I feel like only focuses on the innovations of the modern day world while Ryusui also focuses on things like holidays, sports, etc because he knows people enjoys those things and were passionate about it just like how he’s passionate about ships. And he’s just goofy. So yeah that’s why I love him😁
