jason todd is so tall that he has to bend down to hear you better... (based on this post that was sent to me)
there's something about how tall Jason is that makes your stomach flip. When he's standing beside you, arms folded and waiting for his coffee, or when he's stood behind you and you can feel his breath moving softly over the top of your head.
It's sickening how attractive he is, and if you think about him too often you get a little nauseous. But now, it's somehow worse. Jason's face is hidden behind the red hood mask, arms folded over his chest as he stares at the screen in front of him. His attention is so caught up on the news that flashes across the television that he doesn't hear you when you speak.
"that's terrible," you mumble, eyes reflecting the buildings on fire on the screen. you can almost imagine the sirens of the fire engines as they near the scene.
"hm?" Jason tilts his head, turning away from the tv and bending down a little to hear you better. It startles you, and you swallow the saliva that has built in your mouth. You can't drool over him when he's right beside you.
"It's terrible," you repeat "what's happening out there."
Jason nods, straightening again, and you stand in silence for a few more minutes until the broadcast ends.
-
It happens again a few days later, on an early Sunday morning in the kitchen of titans tower. You're washing dishes from breakfast when Jason comes to get a glass of water. With cup in hand he leans over you, turning on the tap. The water rushes loud, the pipes creaking a little.
"You could at least wait till I'm done here." you wave a soap sud covered fork at him and he frowns, the sound of the tap drowning you out. When his hand lands splayed out and firm on your lower back you feel the heat rush to your cheeks.
Jason, turns the tap off, leaning down again, just like the day before. "couldn't hear ya, what'd you say darling?"
Your mouth goes dry, and deep down you think he knows it. "Never mind."

reblogs and comments appreciated!
You didn't really the check time, but it must've been past midnight when you entered Jason's place for the first time this week, quietly closing the door behind you and tossing your keys back into your bag, which you placed on the hanger by the entrance.
Your steps were lazy and spaced out as you walked around the apartment, looking for him in the dark ─ turning the lights on would be too much of a splurge, so you simply settled for an almost blind search.
Approaching the bathroom, you heard the faint sound of water splashing, the noise recognizable as you'd heard that a thousand times, almost in the same situation.
"You always choose such ungodly hours for bathing." You said, walking into the small room in silent steps.
Jason was laying peacefully in the bathtub, his head resting against the wall beside him as he had his eyes closed, probably enjoying the comfort of the scented candles lit around the tub. You could smell the vanilla from the wax mixed with the scent of the peach bathbomb you gave him some time ago.
"I think this is the best hour for it." He murmured, not bothering to raise his voice. You liked seeing him relaxed like that.
You sat down at the edge of the tub, taking in his soft appearance. He looked very peaceful, his eyes shut and face relaxed. It was one of the few times you'd seen him with his jaw unclenched.
As you sat, his head immediately leaned closer to your thigh, resting against it like a pillow. Your heart warmed at the sight and at the feeling.
You two had just started dating. Things were still so new to both of you, but they were going well. You liked each other, more than either of you cared to admit, still too scared to pour your hearts out. But moments like these proved that the feeling was deeper than you thought.
Running a gentle hand through his damp hair, you let out a short sigh. "You look so peaceful." you murmured quietly, your voice caressing his ears.
"I am." he replied, leaning into your touch. "Even more now."
You smiled at that. He liked to say sweet things when you least expected him to. Jason wasn't one for sweet talk, but he made an effort for you. To see that pretty smile on your lips, to make you feel loved, to make you feel his love.
"How did tonight go?" You murmured quietly, your fingers still caressing his scalp, almost making him purr like a cat. He loved head scratches.
"Mhm..." he hummed, deciding if he should sugarcoat it or tell you the truth. He chose the truth. "It was... awkward. Like, very, but it wasn't the worst night ever. I'm still getting used to these things."
"You're still getting used to galas?" You smiled, your tone incredulous. "I thought you went to these things all the time."
"I did a few times when I was younger." He said. "But it's harder to adapt now. I mean, inside. Outside, I think I look... not that out of place, but inside, it's messy." He explained to you, his fingers coming up to gently caress your side, making your shirt wet. But neither of you cared.
"I get it." You nodded, offering him a more understanding smile now. "I'm sure you did well, though. You always do."
"Maybe... maybe go with me next time." He murmured almost sheepishly, his eyes opening for the first time. They drank you, your appearance, your messy hair, your sparkly eyes, your pretty, pretty nose. Every part of your face, your clothes, your arms, everything. "I think you'd fit in."
"Me?" you mumbled, your voice cracking a bit, making you wince. Suddenly, you felt a little shy from his gaze and from his proposal. The thought of him wanting you of all people to be his plus one at those fancy events made you feel some kind of warm anxiety, close to a good, excited feeling. "I don't think I would, honestly."
"I can already see it... a beautiful outfit on you, your hair pretty and styled, silver jewelry, the most glorious shoes..." he mumbled. He sounded almost like he was daydreaming. "And, of course, your stunning self to go with all of it."
You laughed at that, a genuine laugh, one of those he seemed to pull out of you anytime he did or said something remotely funny. You were down bad for that man. Shaking your head, you gave his shoulder a gentle pat.
"That sounds like an alternative reality." You said.
"I disagree." he said, looking over at you again. "In fact... wait a minute, I'll get all of that arranged right now for next month."
You stared at him in confusion, your eyebrows knitting together as he started getting up from the tube, and then your eyes widened.
"Jason-"
He got out of the bathtub, water splashing all over the edges and dripping down to the floor, as well as on you, your shirt and pants getting even damper.
You laughed again at his desperation, and at the fact that he didn't even bother to cover himself with a towel. He walked out of the bathroom in his full naked glory, droplets of water sliding down his chest as he padded over to the room, mumbling something about having to get on the phone right now.
You couldn't have chosen better.

a.n: i feel like this is so stupid... also, i didn't proof read, I'm sorry!
tw!! talk of sa
I know Arkham Knight happened in one night, but i’m spreading it out slightly for the sake of the story.
You suddenly understood why every woman in Arkham looked numb.
As you walked out of Jefferson’s office, you didn’t flinch at the yelling from the office next door, as you usually would. You walked past the group of patients that would make obscene comments about you.
You found yourself in your room, staring blankly at the white peeling wall.
You wanted Jason. You wanted him to find you, to find out what happened. You wanted him to hurt Jefferson, the same way you’ve watched him in his Robin suit hurt men that have touched you.
You grab your pillow, and scream into it, possibly annoying other patients but you didn’t care. All you wanted was for it to get out.
The small visiting room seemed smaller when Dick Grayson was in it.
You looked at the crayons on the table, breaking them in half as Dick spoke to you.
“He’s being investigated.” Dick says quietly, choosing not to sit on the only couch, not wanting to intrude. “But with the luck people have had with Arkhams staff..”
Dick sighs and leans back against the wall, looking at you. “Until he’s gone, we’ve had them switch out your psychiatrist.”
His words make you look up.
“You mean- this wasn’t enough to get me out of here?” You say stiffly, your hands trembling around the broken crayons. “So what, your just going to trust another fucked up staff member? He fucking assaulted me Dick!” Your voice gets higher throughout the sentence.
“We didn’t know an assistant was taking over, Reader. They didn’t tell anything to us about it. We would have- we would have investigated him before he ever came close to talking to you.”
You snort. “Like that makes a difference for me to know that?”
Dicks fists clench. You knew he wasn’t angry at you, he was angry at himself. Mostly Bruce, who hasn’t spoken to you once since he put you in Arkham. Although, you know he’s still a part of it, as you get sent gift baskets from Alfred weekly.
“This.. this is the best place for you right now.” Dick says, exhaustion seeping into his words. He doesn’t sound like he believes it, either.
“I hate you.” You whisper harshly, rubbing the crayons against the table.
“I know.”
The first sign you realized something was wrong, was when security lessened in Arkham.
Staff members were getting fired left and right. You assume it was Bruce, finally taking charge of Arkham and firing all of the twisted staff.
You walked down one of the catwalks, walking down the stairs to look at the lunch tables, driving where to sit, when you heard the television.
“Man charged with biting someone-“ Normal. “In a laundry unit after victim heard him screaming at himself.”
Zombie apocalypse? Gothams probably already had one.
You shake your head and walk over to one of the corner tables, sliding into the seat and setting your tray on the table. A woman sits down across from you, but pays no attention as she keeps to herself.
You stuff the slop into your mouth, because as much as you hated the food, you wanted to look like yourself when Jason came back.
If.
When.
Fuck.
You slam the tray of slop, on the edge of the table, making it fly off the table and onto the ground. The woman’s cross from you flinches but doesn’t react.
You can’t believe that your losing the idea that Jason’s alive. Maybe Jefferson fucked you up more than you thought.
“Oh shit- look how fucked up the guy looks!”
Your gaze moves to the television, where they show the victim of the biting man. Your eyebrows furrow are the image. *Is that allowed on the news*?
“Fuck- imagine being known as the guy who bit someone.”
“Carol, you used to eat your victims hair.”
You scrunch your nose and focus on the television instead of the patients conversations.
The second time you realized something was different, was when they shut off the news in the rec rooms.
You checked with the male block, and one had informed you that theirs was shut off too.
Gothams news was something people were used to. What was so horrific, that they wouldn’t show Arkhams patients?
With the lessening staff, you noticed more and more fights break out. It felt different than the years you’ve been here. There wasn’t the threat of a nurse with a syringe behind you at every problem.
You’ve started tying your doorknob to your bed frame just in case.
At night, you felt your bed frame jiggling. You bolted upright to see your neighbor trying to open the door, and you quickly walked over.
Visiting has gotten usual with her, since her guard had gotten fired.
You let her in before shutting the door behind her, and turn to face her. “What?”
She, Anna, looks at you with a grin. “They’ve given him a name.”
You look at her weirdly before walking over to your bed and sitting down. “Who?”
“The guy whose been dropping fear gas everywhere. Didn’t you hear Steph talking about it?”
Steph- a patient whose boyfriend works as a journalist.
“No- I barely talk to her.” You mumble, watching as Anna walks over to your dresser and grabs a baked good from the gift basket. “So a guy has been behind these weird attacks?”
Anna nods, her lips pursed together as she chooses form your stash. “Apparently no one can find anything out about him. Only knows he’s working with Scarecrow. Do you like these?” She holds up a blueberry muffin and you wave her off to take it. “So he like- calls himself the Arkham Knight. Or at least, that’s what Stephs boyfriend said.”
You snort. “Wonder who he’s after.”
Anna nods, raising her eyebrows sarcastically. “Yet he’s the first villain to name himself after Batman. If I had the money to become a high class villain, that would’ve been my first idea.”
You watch as she bites into one of the muffins. “No one’s as smart as you, Anna.” You say, sarcastically, but she doesn’t ever notice that.
You look at the barred window in your room, and get up, walking over to it. Only the tips of your fingertips can reach it, so all your able to see is the top of a tree growing next to Arkham.
“Arkham Knight.” You mumble to yourself. “Let’s hope your different than the others.”
I feel like boyfriend!jason would love watching you do your nightly routine, specifically when you go about your skincare.
He’ll lean on the doorway, broad arms crossed and bulging against his tee. His plump lips curl into a tiny smile as he watches your reflection in the mirror.
After cleansing, you apply your lengthy lineup of serums and toners. You didn’t use them every night, but every so often you’d go all out. Jason’s emerald eyes glint with a look of fascination. He adored seeing your natural, stripped-down self; a version of you not many people got to see. He felt special that he got to.
Jason may have been a bit obsessive with making sure you were taken care of. So he loved to see you taking some time to pamper yourself with your little skincare routine.
“You takin’ care of that pretty face, baby?” He pushes off the doorway and moves behind you. You feel his large hands slide up your arms to rest on your shoulders. Jason starts gently massaging, thumbs pressing into your muscles.
You sigh at the comforting sensation, and meet his gaze in the mirror. You can’t help but smile. “Mhm. You like watching?”
“You know I do. Love seeing you spending time on yourself..” He pecks a kiss to the top of your head. “Look at you, you’re glowing.” He trails kisses down your neck and you squirm in delight, his lips tickling your skin.
“Jason!” You squeal. He pulls back reluctantly, going back to watching you with a smile of content.
As you finish up your routine, a sudden idea pops into your head. You turn to face Jason with an excited grin.
“Can I use my skincare on you?”
Jason watches your eyes light up at the idea, and immediately he’s fucked. He can’t say no to you.
He laughs, “Why not.”
You’re then perched up on the counter, preparing your favorite hydrating serum and moisturizer for Jason. He stood in front of you, hands instinctively resting on your thighs as you lifted the dropper of the serum. Jason’s whole body relaxed, eyes fluttering shut, feeling you gently work the serum into his skin.
“Mm.. feels good, sweetheart.” He hums gently, opening his eyes for a second to look at you before closing them again.
Your fingers worked in circular motions as you went in with the moisturizer, being careful around any newer scars.
Jason’s heart swelled with emotion, skin tingling where you touched him so tenderly. Nobody ever went out of their way to care for him like you did. He felt he didn’t deserve you. You were too good—too sweet.
He was always so worried about making sure you were cared for, he sometimes neglected his own needs. But, you were always right there to remind him he deserved love and care too.
Under his closed lids, Jason felt his eyes water at the thought.
He knew right then—he was never letting you go.
Agreed on the latest post. Bust Jason in his shit real quick when he’s acting an ass and watch how fast he grins 😭
YOU GET MEEEEE
the first time you pop jason in his mouth for saying slick shit he smiles like the devil.
he exhales shakily, trying not to palm the growing hard on in his sweats.
“did you just put your fuckin’ hands on me?” he asks, a nasty kind of grin creeping across his face as he rubs his jaw. “don’t start somethin’ ya can’t finish, ma.”
Don’t Let Go 18+
Warnings: romance and everything that comes with it, very slight smut at the end 🚨
Notes: blah blah blah, my man my man my man 🫠
Jason holds your hand whenever he sees yours shake.
Any time you go to order at a restaurant, the words coming out stuttered and wobbly as you try to tell the waiter what you want, his hand finds your. Rough callouses holding your softer skin under the table, his thumb rubbing the back of your hand.
"You got this, princess."
Visiting his family at Bruce’s mansion (he insisted you call him Bruce) was no different. You sat through the fancy dinner, listening to Jason’s brothers try and tell you as many embarrassing stories as they could. He’d squeeze your hand when you laughed.
Then in the quiet, and not so quiet, moments in your bedroom. Jay’s body over yours, his eyes trained on your blissed out face as he rocked his hips into you. “Good girl. Good girl, mama.” Anchoring you, keeping you from drifting off on whatever cloud of pleasure he was creating, his hand in yours to remind you he was there.
rafe and best friend reader’s playful banter, is everything…
lots of wrestling… at first he was so scared to hurt you. you were so delicate and he knows how aggressive he can be. but after enough tugging at his arm, even daring to antagonize him after you’ve seen his worst… “oh, okay. you’re asking for it now… it’s fucking on.”
a girl giving you guys a weird glare after pulling on each others arms and not sure if she should be concerned … topper having to explain “oh you’re new here. they’re just playing. they do that. he will let her win in like, 60 seconds max…”
yelping out “ouch” to make him stop in his tracks, just to laugh at how fast his eyes filled with worry … “aw, see you do love me rafey” you’d tease, only to get pinned back down. “was gonna let you win but now you’re absolutely fucked.” “promise?”
your friends sometimes can’t make out if you’re rough playing or fucking in the other room, and honestly neither surprise them.
playful bickering about literally everything… “i don’t think tomatoes should be a fruit.” “rafe, the fuck do you know about fruits?”
“i just love to push your buttons.” “i’m going to push you off a literal bridge if you keep this up, rafe.”
the dumbest inside jokes ever… enough said.
rafe’s dark humor is wild… “that’s not fucking funny, rafe. cut it out.” with proceeded awkward silence until you can’t help but break laughing.
calling him daddy in public just to fuck with him: both to embarrass him and enjoying turning him on. being in a public shop, “daddy, can i get this?” “y/n, shut the fuck—“ “please daddy.”
and of COURSE sarcastic jokes to make each other jealous…
“do you think that guy is into me?” “a knife is about to be if you don’t shut the fuck up about it.” “… is that a no?”
posting drunk videos & photos of you on his story because he genuinely thinks you’re adorable, but loves to watch you fight him for his phone to delete it… “i swear to god. delete me looking like a fucking minion right now–” “that’s one hot minion.”
and your favorite insult for him. “it’s giving… pogue.” “oh, i’m absolutely going to fuckin’ kill you in your sleep.”

Almost two years had passed since Bruce Wayne came to your door and revealed who he was. Nearly 730 days since your boyfriend "died". Gotham was a city full of awful crimes and even worse people but you've never hated anyone like you hated Batman.
You can understand that he tried, the guilt he must feel probably consumes him and a sick part of you is glad. Not only was your boyfriend killed, with video evidence might you add, but his body was never recovered.
Jason would hate it if you saw the video of the Joker killing him but you needed to know. It was all for naught though, you never buried a body so your brain fully believes he isn't dead.
Whether or not it was the grief of having the love of your life ripped away from you or the feeling in your gut, you know Jason isn't dead. Until there is a body in front of you, you will do anything that you can to find him.
-
It started with swallowing your pride and asking the person you loathed for help.
Bruce obviously refused, he wanted to avoid another young person's death. You caught him by surprise with how you begged for his help, he fully expected you to be mad at him, to threaten him for answers. But no, instead you got on your hands and knees and begged him for help, which somehow made it worse.
For weeks you kept reaching out to him, asking him for any clues or hints, anything at all! He has all the resources a person could ever need, he's known as the greatest detective in the world but he can't find his son?
"I've told you, Jason is... Jason is dead. You saw the video. Get out of Gotham and move on, there is nothing more I can do for you." You didn’t stop there though.
You knew of Nightwing, that he was the robin before Jason. So you reached out to him when he was on patrol. Unlike Bruce, you actually felt bad for asking for help, especially since he was working and was grieving himself.
Even through the domino mask, his face scrunched in sympathy, and as gently as he could he told you he couldn't consciously help you. He couldn't let a civilian rope themself into business they wouldn't be able to walk out of.
Understanding of his reasoning, you started going against the law. You started to sneak into offices at different police stations in Gotham (they were sloppier than you could've ever thought, no wonder people love Batman).
Given Jason's at the time profession, he taught you how to defend yourself. There was never a time you didn't carry a knife on you, but you always left your gun at home. Living in Gotham, it was best to take all and every necessary safety precautions.
Using the very low-level skills you had, you searched places that were abandoned and discarded, anywhere that Joker was ever near in the past few years. A part of you knew that what you were doing was dangerous, that if Batman had found anything he would've done so already.
But you couldn't just go to work and pretend your boyfriend wasn't out there somewhere, alive or not you had to be absolutely sure. If you died trying then so be it, it's better than living in the reality of Jason not coming home.
-
A year went by, 365 days of feeling your sanity drain out of your body. You've been caught a few times by the police for trespassing and once by Batman himself who scolded and lectured you about your activities. He was livid, upset at you willingly putting yourself in danger. You were at a higher risk of dying than he was and yet you go out in nothing but black clothes and a few weapons. He's genuinely shocked you're still alive.
After Bruce catches you, he makes sure to keep tabs on you which prevents you from going out. Even if he's busy, if he sees your tag too far out he will drag you back to your place.
There's a part of you that wants to give up, to actually take his advice and move away. But you know deep down inside nothing will put out the fire of finding Jason. Even if you moved to a different country, you know you would still look for his hair, to listen for his voice in the crowd.
Months of gaslighting yourself that he'll knock on your door and say it's just one big prank, that he was on a big mission far away and couldn't tell you to keep you safe.
Millions of excuses rolled around in your head day and night, work was a blur. Bruce even tried to compensate by offering to pay for your rent, to help you seek medical help like a therapist. You know it would do you good to rest but the guilt of leaving Jason behind was too strong. He's been through so much in his life, you wouldn't dare abandon him.
You still stayed in the apartment you were looking at with Jason, "a safehouse" he called it, you weren't even 18 at the time but you both allowed yourselves to think ahead.
Every piece of furniture you bought it with him in mind, "This would be convenient for him to hide his gear," "He likes this color, plus the blanket is soft so it'll help him sleep." Jason consumed you, call it unhealthy but he was your night in this dark city.
There was a spare bedroom, you were going to originally use it as an office/workspace but instead, it's covered in all the papers you've stolen to find him. The floor, walls and even the door were covered, overlapped, and written on with any possible clue you could've stumbled upon. It's been months since you've been able to add something that wasn't already on there. So instead, you sat in the room and just stared at it, cried, ripped things down, and put them back up with tears streaming down your face. It didn’t help that you would hear Jason’s voice soothing you whenever you cried, reassuring you whenever you were down. You knew it was your subconscious trying to console you but you liked to believe he was really there.
Then there were the hallucinations, they started back when you stumbled upon a hostage situation in an old arcade at the end of Gotham, you swear it was Jason but when the guy looked up at you all you saw was a stranger. You were stuck in the police station for hours, yelled at for stupidly interfering in a dangerous situation. The cops looked at you with annoyance now, you were nothing more than a crazy love-sick girl.
-
Lately, work has been exhausting, learning there was a new robin made your stomach swirl. It was like Batman just moved on, how is that fair? How could he move on while you were stuck chasing dead ends? Why couldn't you just accept his death?
Instead of eating dinner, you let yourself boil in whatever hot water Gotham could provide and scrubbed layers of guilt off of your skin. You put on an old shirt of his, which was horribly faded by how much you wore and washed it then curled up in bed; The bed was too big but you didn't want a smaller one in case he came back.
Usually, you triple check that your windows and doors are bolted shut but for tonight you just trusted your brain. Sometimes, it felt like it would be easier if you didn't wake up anymore, at least when you closed your eyes you could see the Jason you knew and loved.
Tonight was one of those nights where sleep was in and out, so when you felt a hand push back some hair behind your ear, you grabbed the knife under your pillow and lunged forward though there were no sounds of anyone in pain, in fact you heard the knife hit the floor.
"You have to be faster than that, sweetheart."
That voice. You would know that voice anywhere.
You blink your eyes open, slowly revealing the man you love in front of you. Except, he wasn't in front of you. This wasn't the first time he's appeared in front of you, it broke your heart all the same.
The exhaustion creeped up your throat and tears started to slip down your face, "No don't cry baby, it's okay." 'Jason' attempted to reach his hand toward you but you shook your head, backing into the corner of the bed,
"This isn't real. Go away, please. Not tonight."
The ache Jason felt in his chest at the sound of your distress hurt him in a way he's never yet experienced. His poor girl crying, thinking he wasn't real.
"I'm real baby, I promise." He calmly approaches you, kneeling on the bed, a hand reaches out towards you again,
Your head was buried on your knees as you hugged yourself into a ball, "You're not! I haven't found you! This can't be real!"
"Please look at me sweetheart."
You noticed his voice sounded different, deeper, more matured. It caused you to slowly look up, "There you are."
That's when you see him. The scars, the tired look in his eyes, the rage he's hiding behind it; There’s a difference in color in his eyes but they're beautiful all the same. They still look at you with love.
None of your hallucinations were this detailed, to be honest you couldn't imagine what he would look like after the years have passed. So to see this, you knew it was real. (Or some villain was damn good at illusions.)
He was caught off guard as you hugged him tight, he had to swallow down the feeling to pull you off. You were the exception to everything, so for now he could stomach the feeling of being held in place because he (is trying to convince himself) knows it's out of love.
You sobbed in his chest, apologizing over and over and over again, "It's okay baby, take deep breaths please."
Again, you started to shake your head, "It's not okay, I should have found you. I tried to find you, I'm so sorry!"
"I saw the room baby, I know you tried but that wasn't your responsibility." He tried to reason with you, doing what he could to calm you down. It's been years since he's seen you, years since he's dealt with anything normal, his mind is all over the place.
"Don't say that, I love you Jace. I would rather die than stop looking."
Jason tensed at the phrase, after everything it's hard to believe you, to believe any of this but he wanted to see you. He had to.
A hand found its way in your hair, holding you close to his chest, "You did good honey, thank you for trying."
Lifting your head from his chest, you looked into his eyes, "I would do anything for you, I need you to know that."
He can only offer a small smile, he knows you did and there's a small piece of his heart that can rest knowing you didn't forget him, that you still loved him.
He hopes he can learn to love you again, too.

he would never admit it to anyone, but dick grayson loves it when you get a little jealous. or, rather, he loves making it up to you after the fact.
it’s not unusual for him to be at the receiving end of suggestive remarks and lustful gazes. he doesn’t go out of his way to make it happen, and he never entertains other women’s flirtatious comments, but when your boyfriend looks like that, there’s no avoiding it, really. so when he invites you attend a wayne gala at the gotham museum of antiquities, it takes more than a little self-control for you to stay calm.
three hours in, you’re one “gosh, you’re strong! and those eyes,” away from causing a scene with a glass of red wine. ever-observant, dick squeezes your side softly as he excuses himself from his conversation with another tall socialite, guiding you to the perimeters of the room.
“what’s wrong?” he smirks. asshole. you narrow your eyes at him before looking away, trying not to snap at him. you know it’s not his fault.
“nothing. I’m fine.” lie. he laughs softly and settles his hands on your hips, pulling you closer. he’s going to enjoy this.
“come on, baby,” he pleads. “these ladies are big donors, that’s all. I gotta keep up appearances.” you meet his gaze once again, your lips in a tight line, and his smile widens. “what, are you gonna make me beg for forgiveness?” you say nothing, but you notice a gleam in his eyes that sends heat rushing between your legs. his grip on your hips tightens as he leans in close. “alright, pretty girl. let me make it up to you.”
★・・・★・・・★・・・★
“d-dick…” you gasp, trying to keep your voice down. there’s no need, really; the museum’s marble bathroom stall, paired with the string quartet performing at the gala, muffles your moans well enough.
your black gown is bunched around your waist, and dick’s suit jacket lies discarded on the floor, along with your underwear and stilettos. you shakily hold yourself up on the marble sink with one hand, the other wound in dick’s soft, black hair as he kneels between your legs.
“what’s the matter, baby?” he coos, pulling away from your dripping core. you whine at the loss of contact, and dick chuckles at your misery. his lips glisten with your fluids as he trails one of his slender fingers up your inner thigh. “talk to me.”
“keep going,” you breathe, widening your legs involuntarily. “please, dick, god—” you’re cut off by your own moan as he slides two of his fingers inside you. his lips return to your needy clit, sucking hungrily as his other hand snakes around to grope your ass. your legs begin to shake as he speeds up his pace, and his eyes look up to meet yours. you see him smile against your pussy as his fingers hit that spongy spot in your walls, drawing out an incoherent string of profanities with his name woven through them.
seeing you like this drives dick crazy, and he’s unsure if you know it. the way your body responds to him is one of his favourite things, even if sometimes he plays little games to get you where he wants you. the sight of your expensive dress crumpled up around your contracting abdomen has his pupils blown wide. god, you’re so fucking beautiful. his cock strains painfully against his pants, but he ignores the ache in favour of working your pretty pussy the way only he knows how to. besides, he knows you’ll take good care of him later.
you feel the coil in your belly tighten until it starts to snap, your orgasm drawing dangerously close. dick curls his fingers again, coaxing you to the edge. thoughts of the gala unfolding right outside slip from your mind, and your knees buckle as you reach your peak. “dick, fuck, I’m—”
your breath hitches as you cum over his fingers, and you’re grateful his arms are there to keep you standing. his tongue works you through your climax until you’re bucking your hips away from the stimulation. he pulls away from your aching core, gazing at the glistening mess between your thighs with pride.
he rises to meet your eyes and kisses you hotly, your high still on his lips. you clutch at his shoulders, breathing in his scent as you kiss him back. his muscular arms trap you in a tight hug, and his piercing blue eyes crinkle at the corners with the boyish grin that spreads across his face as he takes in your dazed expression.
“so,” he says smugly, gently running his thumb over the corner of your lip where he smudged your lipgloss. “am I forgiven?”

threesome (bruce x reader x selina), sex toys, overstim, begging, very brief double penetration. first time writing for both of them so pls give me grace
they’re no good together. no, too good together. too good at breaking you, reverting you to a wet and squirming mess at his mercy while she holds you in faux comfort.
“bruce,” you cry to him, legs trembling and cunt twitching around the silicon he’s stuffed inside you over and over, too many times to even count. a little vibrator buzzes at your clit again and you sob, thighs snapping together as salty tears bubble under your lashes. “bruce- I can’t, ‘m done, please…”
his eyelids hang low and large hands grip the underside of your thighs, giving what you can only assume is a glare of impatience. “you’re not done,” he corrects, a light slap landing on your swollen clit that has you flinching open. god, he’s insane- you’re leaking around the thing, lips quivering and clawing at sheets, begging for mercy, yet he’s got the nerve to tell you you’re not done.
he’s mean, you realize, and only one arm is needed to leave you vulnerable while the other force’s the thick toy deeper into your cunt. his tongue rolls along his lips, almost in concentration as he stares you down; no indications of his own arousal are clear, but his enthusiasm for abusing your sore and puffy pussy speak volumes.
“I know you can give me another one,” bruce states in a matter-of-fact tone, brows furrowed further when you still attempt pushing him away. “and I know you want to.” the hint of irritation in his voice alludes to dangerous outcomes- hold out on him any longer and he’ll make sure this doesn’t get better for you. he reads you inside and out without missing even one line. bruce knows what makes you tick- what makes you cry, beg, even demand more. he’s almost insulted that you’d even try to withstand his ministrations, and the vibe against your sensitive nerves kicks up a notch.
“be nice, brucie,” selina chimes in with a little tut, pretty and nimble hands tracing your collarbone and jawline. the delicate scratch of her nails send shivers up your spine and you whine at the faux sympathy. “we’re just prepping her, remember? save the brooding act for later.” shit, just prepping?
“oh my god,” you gasp, not even a second before that coil of overwhelming tension breaks, clinging desperately to selina’s arm as your body convulses. you hold onto her as if she’s your final thread, the only thing stopping you from passing out, and the sentiment has her smirking. “fuck, selina, make him… please- just make him…” the man torturing your cunt exchanges a sly look to his counterpart, a low groan from the depths of the throat prompting you to look down.
“aw, make him what? make him keep going?”
she’s evil.
they’re both evil.
“just greedy,” selina coos, only now choosing to ignore your more elaborate pleas of clarification. your mouth hangs open with drool near the corners, and you’ve seemingly resorted to the gods above to grant you mercy- then her thumb drags down your lip and rests on your tongue. it quiets you down as she shushes you, gaze landing back on hers. “greedy, isn’t she…”
“since you want me to be so nice,” bruce hums as the head of his cock prods at your pussy, not even bothering to move either of the toys; fuck, you feel like you’ll die from how much he stretches you out. “i’ll give her what she wants so bad.” ❧

aka your daughters learn what happened to jason
warnings: nonspecific discussions on how jason died
(1) the drop-in
The sound of water splashing under toy boats and fish fills the small room.
You ring the washcloth out over the suds, Rory’s idle hands scooping up the excess. She entertains herself with the slowly dissolving bubbles between her fingers as you fill up your cup.
“Put your head back,” you tell her, nudging her forehead.
She does, squeezing her eyes shut.
You pour the cup of water over her head, combing through her hair. You refill the cup again as she pipes up.
“Mommy,” she says with a casual lull in her voice.
You pour it out again, making sure to rinse the shampoo at her roots, “Hm?”
Her hand comes up to wipe the stream from off her forehead, “How did daddy get that scar?”
“Well, daddy has lots of scars,” you say carefully. “You know that.”
She shakes her head, “Littler scars. He has a big one though, right here.”
She points up and down her torso.
“What happened?”
You take a breath, eyes focused on the dissolving suds. “What happened…”
She continues on, “He said scars come from when you get hurt and the bigger ones are bigger hurts. How did he get such a big hurt?”
“Um...” She’s quite young to hear that story, especially coming from you. Your older daughters have an awareness of what happened, though it’s never been formally discussed. You think Mia knows what the autopsy scar is and the twins definitely know he died at the very least. You’ve been made aware that there’s been…discussions at school about who their dad is and how he one day died and then years later magically reappeared. You and Jason had decided that you would talk to them about it eventually, but only when they were old enough to not be completely traumatized hearing it.
You just hadn’t assumed that day would creep up on you like this.
You sit back, tense. “Did you ask him that?”
“No…” she says gravely. “I don’t wanna make him sad.”
You nod, trying to collect your thoughts. How can you steer away from this without attracting more questions?
“Do you know what happened?” she asks, scanning your face.
You do your best to reset your expression to neutral.
You start without really knowing where the sentence is going, “We…we can talk about it later…”
Rory tilts her head, “Not now?”
You shake yours, “Not right now.”
That’s enough to appease her curiosity for the rest of the bath, but you know with that one, it won’t last long.
You’d gotten her dressed and sent her on her way, but your mind stayed heavy the whole time.
You walk downstairs slowly, hands still damp from the bath. As you turn the corner from the stairs you find Jason, reading contentedly by himself in the living room.
You cross the room without hesitation, climbing into the spot next to him on the couch. He doesn’t need to look up, only adjusts the position of his arm so its draped over you, pulling you into his side.
“So…” you start, “Rory was asking about your scar..”
He turns away from the book, looking at you with serious eyes. “What did she say?”
“She wants to know how you got it,” you tell him. “I didn’t tell her, but she didn’t want to ask you either.”
“Why not?” He asks quickly, face brimming with anxiety.
You shake your head, calming his worries. “She said she didn’t want to make you sad.”
He relaxes a bit at that, taking in the information.
You break the silence after a minute, quietly telling him, “I think it might be time to talk about it.”
He looks dejected, eyes on the floor. “They’re still little..”
“I’m not saying tell them everything right now, just…acknowledge it.”
“I don’t—” He sighs, “I don’t know how I’m supposed to tell them that.”
You think for a moment, nodding.
“Tell them how you told me. Just…more kid words.”
He still looks resigned at the idea so you continue, “You know how to talk to them. Just tell them what you want them to hear. They’ll listen.”
He nods, eyes low. “Okay…”
You stand up, and he grabs your hand as you rise, pulling himself up too.
You give each other one more confirming look before calling up the stairs, “Girls? Come here.”
There’s a ten second delay before a scuttle of footsteps starts down the staircase, arriving with a low-liveliness, nearly bedtime energy amongst them.
The second you’re within sight of them, they’re keen that something’s not right.
“What’s going on?”
“Is—”
“Everything’s alright. Nothing’s wrong,” you tell them. “We just want to talk to you for a minute.”
Your words don’t do much to ease their minds, but after a moment they slowly gather onto a single couch. They’re all squished in together and Rory’s half on top of Anna and Laine, the latter of which can barely move. Still, there’s no complaints to be heard, only an air of seriousness throughout the room.
Jason clears his throat, though he has trouble looking at them, the easier option seeming to be the carpeted floor.
“Alright,” he starts with a deep breath. “So my, uh, my Y scar…”
The air in the room drops the second the words are out, the girls all quiet and listening closely. You can tell this is something they’d been wondering about for a long time.
“When I was younger and I’d just started doing the, uh, special job my brothers and Bruce do…” He takes another breath, “Some things happened that shouldn’t have and I got hurt..”
“What things?” Ryan asks.
“I…I got tricked by a bad guy and…I just got hurt.”
It’s uncharacteristic for the girls to all look so dejected and serious like this. Goes to show that you were right—they do have an understanding of what happened.
Anna is the first to pipe up.
“Did you die?”
“Anna—”
“It’s alright,” Jason interrupts. He collects himself before eking out, “Um…yeah, I-I did.”
He’s still stuck on those words and you have to silently push for him to keep talking, so as to not give their imaginations time to run wild.
He takes the hint, stuttering, “But, um, it’s complicated, but I came back and—”
Laine interrupts this time, almost teary-eyed.
“Are you going to die again?”
Jason shakes his head quickly, “No. No, honey, not for a long time.”
It’s quiet for a moment as they process, sorting through the details into something their minds can understand.
Rory looks on edge, wide-eyed, as she asks, “Are you a ghost?”
“No, sweetheart,” Jason answers calmly with a shake of his head.
That seems to calm her anxiety more than anything else.
“Are you better now?” Laine asks.
Jason nods, “Yeah, I’m a lot better now.”
Ryan looks skeptical at the choice of words. “How did you…get better?”
He takes a shaky breath, “Well…your mommy helped me a lot. And then you helped me some more. And now…now I’m all healed.”
None of them seem to really understand, but they accept the answer anyways.
The next question is from Anna.
“Is the bad guy in jail now?”
Jason only momentarily stutters in his response, but pulls it together nicely.
“It’s not something you need to be worried about. I promise. Nothing like that’s going to happen again to me or you or anyone.”
This appears to appease most of the concerns flying around in their heads.
He continues, “We can talk about it more when you get older, but…
You take the queue, nodding Rory and Lainey your way.
“Let’s go get ready for bed, okay?”
You nudge the younger two upstairs, who, to your surprise, go without resistance.
You give Jason one last glance before heading up the stairs, happy to see him much more relaxed than he was at the start of this conversation.
He’s left downstairs with his eldest three girls, each nearly bursting at the seams full of their thoughts and questions.
Jason thumps down on the couch between them, a heavy breath following.
The trio watch him quietly for a moment before Anna speaks.
“I know what it is,” she tells him somberly. He looks at her with more melancholia than he would’ve hoped for.
She continues, “There’s autopsies on my show sometimes.”
Right, her show. The X-Files.
Jason nods, a bit remiss at the idea that she knows.
From his other side, Ryan pipes up.
“Did it hurt?”
He shakes his head, “No, I-I wasn’t…”
Wasn’t alive. He doesn’t want to say that, though.
Ryan nods, understanding anyways. “Did it hurt when you died?”
He hesitates before answering, wavering between lying to protect their minds and telling them the truth. In the end, he decides that you’re right, they can handle it in small measures.
“Yeah. It did, a little,” he confesses. ”But like I said, that’s not going to happen again.”
From behind Ryan, Mia speaks so softly Jason almost misses her words.
“I’m sorry.”
He looks at her, brow furrowed. “For what?”
“That that happened to you,” she says. Her eyes are filled with an equal sadness to his and it breaks his heart. Even more so that her words are so clearly meant sincerely.
“Oh.”
It’s all he can manage to say.
He was only a little older than Mia when his life had been taken away from him and he’d been forced to reset everything he ever knew. And now, all these years later, he sits here surrounded by his children, his world that he was given a second chance to create. His children that don’t see a monster when they look at him, don’t see the scarred giant that he sees. They just see their dad.
When they were still young they’d started getting almost excited whenever they got a scar from playing too hard because it made them more like him. It took Jason years to just bear the thought of his scars, but his girls look at them like art. Even when they know he got them in bad ways, they pour out nothing but affection. No disgust, no fear, no hate. Just love.
His eyes close and his face falls in his hands, overwhelmed by the idea of his children being such angels, despite being products of him.
“Dad? Are you okay?”
He nods, face still covered. His voice is muffled as he says, “Yeah. Yeah, sweetheart, I just, um…”
His words die off with little fight, and when his hands drop his eyes are red.
Anna, who’s usually compulsed to only touch emotion with a ten-foot pole, is the first to wrap her arms around him, holding him tight. The gesture takes him by surprise, especially from her, and he tenses briefly before deflating like a balloon. Mia and Ryan are quick to follow suit, basically dog-piling over his opposite shoulder.
“It’s okay, dad. We love you. And your scars,” Ryan tells him.
Oh, they think he’s sad.
Hell, thirteen years ago he would’ve thought he was sad. He only started to understand his feelings after his first daughter was born. He doesn’t tell them he’s not sad, doesn’t tell them that he’s crying because life slapped him around and then gave him everything he could ever want five times over.
Instead, he just nods, pulling them impossibly closer.
