identical twins are never different sexes because they come from the same pair of gametes

So there are a couple of possibilities with Vax and Vex: - They're actually semi-identical twins, which is massively rare - They're fraternal twins that just happen to share an uncanny resemblance - Elves have Something Weird going on with their sex chromosomes - One of them is trans 👀 - Absolute handwave (the boring option)
