Haven't really been playing sims lately because I've been play red dead 2 and modded minecraft. Also back in college and dealing with stuff to transfer but I want to get back into it.

Night Street

gardenia - a skin blend for TS3

I blended Ephemera’s Fresh skin on top of Noodlesims’ Apple Cider Vinegar V2 skin to give it some more detail and realism. This skin has softly defined facial features and a radiant, all-over glow.

At first it was just supposed to be a personal blend. I made a comparison post here back in January that I didn’t expect to get so many notes. I am finally getting around to uploading it.

I didn’t edit the base textures of the baby, toddler, and child stages but I think they still look cohesive enough with the edited teen, adult, and elder stages.

Details:

for all ages

default and non-default in the 3 EA tone ramps

1K face textures, 2K body textures (adult stages)

dark versions of all textures remade by me

anatomically correct adult textures

Updated November 7 2023 to give the male body better textures. 🤭

Updated June 18 2023 to include better baby, child and toddler textures. Just download and replace the packages if you already have them. Credit to Kurasoberina’s Primer skin for the baby textures, and Noodlesims and Ephemera for the child and toddler textures.

How do you get your screenshots so pretty and clear? I want to start taking pictures of my OC’s but I don’t want it to be a blurry skin detail mess! I use reshade and HQ MOD currently is there anything else I can use?

hq i use 5k for game, without CAS

good lighting. Most of the time I use either just backdrop lighting or put Buhudain's invisible lights on

Reshade or Gshade. I use smaa or fxaa and luma sharpening, also mxao and sometimes blurring

When I want to take hq screenshots, I always take them exactly as shown in this guide. it's not just for full-length screenshots, but also for portraits. Below are some examples. The first picture is just a screenshot, without "gluing", the second picture is a screenshot made as described in the tutorial
