Since The Rise Turtles Have Regular Phones, I’d Like To Say That In The Mutant Mashup AU 2012 Mikey

A friend of mine recommended that I practice backgrounds and I decided to try it out with a doodle from the last player 2 au post.

Not used to it at alllll. Still though, I think it came out alright.

Some old doodles from last year's sketchbook! I thought it'd be funny if Niccolo was the epitome of a buff nerd in the Au and genuinely didn't realize his own strength until this moment.

Red is excited at the possibility of a new sparring buddy and Zio just lost a 20 dollar bet.

He would've said something much more vile but Big Red was in the room soooooo-

Finally got some motivation after looking at an unfinished doodle.

It's still about the turtles because that's what my life has become. The Mutant Mashup Au just isn't leaving me alone so I decided to post lil doodles about the smarties of the family and some explanations too.

The first two doodles were drawn with Nico and Purple's rocky relationship in mind and what that might look like.

Nico is kinda nervous cause he doesn't really know why Purple became distant and doesn't want to make things worse. He hopes that at least Metal Head and Shelldon will get along.

In the second one Purple is angry and turns away from Niccolo, though it mostly serves as a mask to cover up his insecurities. He's not even sure who he's mad at, himself or his cousin. Nico turns away even though he doesn't want to. He wants to fix whatever broke between them, but he knows Purple isn't in the mood for a chat, so he leaves him alone.

Third and fourth doodle is just Nico having a stress headache and DaVinci helping to make it easier. I imagine holding the entire family together by remaining calm is a lot to ask for, even more so if you're also the person everyone goes to when they wanna vent. In a way, Nico takes on a role similar to Red. They both try to be strong enough to carry their family, Red takes on the physical burden and acts as a shield, as he believes that's what he's good at. While Nico carries the emotional burdens of the Hamato's. In this scenario, Orange is the one pushing everyone to work though their issues so thankfully, Nico doesn't get stress headache's often.

The rest of the doodles are just some happy moments between Purple and Niccolo. They probably happen after their heart to heart moment while in the clutches of Big Mama and the Purple Dragons.

Swap out the Sanses and replace them with the Mutant Mashup Boys. Particularly, Killer Sans and Nightmare Sans. Swap them with Blue and Purple.

Blue has no ADHD meds, imagine the chaos-, Purple went to Sanzio's room probably.

With how bad things got in the MMZ era, I kinda wonder if the guardians even had hobbies. Realistically they'd probably be too busy fixing up the planet and protecting Neo Arcadia to really do anything else.

Ah yes. Caine and Abel meeting a new fellow.

Caine is excited, Abel is nervous.

Honestly, even if your Caine feels regret over your Able's condition, my version of Caine still wouldn't like him. He can't quite understand emotions like Abel can, so my Caine doesn't trust your Caine very much.

Abel!

Aka, my own personal take on the speculation surrounding C&A.

There's biblical imagery in TADC if you look for it, especially when it comes to our beloved Ringmaster himself, Caine, who's believed to be named after the first murderer in the bible. That paired with the C&A logo that briefly shows up has led people to believe that Caine had a brother named Abel.

This is just what I think Abel would look like if he does show up in the future or at all. I imagine Abel's an AI, like Caine, but is surprisingly emotionally intelligent and ran the program that allowed humans to leave the circus. (Slight reference to @fannele's version of Able) If we follow the pilot, then something happened to him, but since Caine was described to be a silly guy by @gooseworx themselves, I don't think he had anything to do with it. (If he did it might've been an accident.) The programmers might have potentially removed Abel or accidentally deleted him for some reason, we can't know for sure.

Those are just my thoughts on Abel and whether it's right or wrong, I don't really care. I just like how this guy came out! I'll be honest though, I probably should've chosen a better pose that convey's Abel's personality a bit more. That and he just generally looks like Caine but with a different outfit and a different head. He low-key looks like if Caine wanted a to wear a very slight Sonic themed outfit.

Idk, I guess I just subconsciously wanted Caine and Abel to be twins. (Darn it ninja turtles you have invaded my brain even now!!).

Anyways. That's just my take, hope you like!

I like to think his ears are droopier than canon Jax, sort of like a lopearred rabbit.

I know I said I'd post render experiments but I just have to get this specific thought out.

It's basically Zero hating himself to such a degree that he refuses to say or do anything nice for himself which explains his complete lack of self preservation. And it gets worse.

How, you may ask? All the built up stress culminates to the point where Zero can't contain it anymore. He has a breakdown similar to when he was first awakened and cannot be brought out of it by himself. I won't go into detail, but I will say that Zero hurt himself, badly. Partially by accident, mostly on purpose.

Is that ooc? Yes. Did I daydream an entire arc revolving around Zero healing and growing into not just a functional person, but a good one? Also yes.

I should probably get into writing it in AO3 or something. I could go into far more detail, but I also visualize a lot of what's happening. Idk I'll just see what comes first once I finally have free time to myself.
