SHES A TATTOO ARTIST IN VEGAS IN 2008!! she's my current Call of Cthulhu character's "best friend." (in quotes because of. an interesting explanation.) HER AND ELLERY ALSO. Tried. to date. before they realized that they were 1. both trans and 2. a gay man and lesbian woman respectively. Joan was the only one (for a large part of his life) that understood Ellie. (she also gave him that nickname!!) She lived with her sister and took Ellie in after stuff with his dad fell apart. they lived in Tennessee but moved to Nevada for college because Joan had dreams of the night life and big cities. she loves it there! she just wishes she had her best friend by her side.
