OH FR??/gen
Honestly I dont think ive heard about that holy shit I'd actually love to hear more. I'd love to talk abt it, especially since I don't see much depth on Chara either. I personally think both would be victims to a system of the Player and from there is where I like to get creative. I'd like to hear more about what he's like with Nightmare and their dynamic since I see so many interpretations. I would want to be the last person to erase that canon part of him.
Does Dust think that the bad Sanses would be selfish? Is there a reasonable reason for him to join the Bad Sanses in some versions? He killed his entire underground thinking it was a more merciful kill than them having to go through the constant resets and he couldn't take it anymore before losing his mind. I think just making him stereotypically "psycho" doesn't give him the justice I see much of. I think the idea of taking away the happy endings of others is impossible for him, especially in specific timelines. I think that the versions of each Bad Sans having their own reasons would be fun, like how I imagine he could've been convinced by Pap to go in order to not Starve.
Don't even get me STARTED on Saint, either. He, in my opinion, joins the Bad Sanses to provide safety and food for the underground. His whole character is defending and caring for the underground despite his rough edges. It's not like he would abandon his brother and village when they're victims of fate and cruel circumstances. The idea that Killer killed everyone to just FEEL something? At least there's some level of understanding for Dust even if he also would dislike him. I've always seen Saint as a character always wanting to protect the weak, or at least protect helpless monsters in bad situations. That could lead to a whole way of him bonding with Dust for that matter
If I'm to think of Killer in the way everyone™ in the fandom sees him, he would have the least justification.
,,,,BUT WHAT IF I THINK OF SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT?
What if Killer decided to join the human to try and stop the resets like Dust? That his method wasn't just to "stop feeling awful" or to "feel nothing at all." I think Sans as a character is very fascinating, and I like to personally think he would pair with Chara as a way not to stop Frisk, but rather to stop the player. It would be interesting to think a part of Chara and Sans are fused into a soul rather than Killer y'know,,,,killing them. I don't care for the evil Chara interpretations, and I think this could lead to a more empathetic light to a character (Killer) with a really cool concept. It's a shame to me that out of all the Bad Sanses, Killer has the least justification and doesn't have that slice of humanity in him that could give him empathy from people in the community
These are just my personal takes, even if whoever reads this may think they're bad takes. Again, I LOVE almost every version someone has of a character so many people can interpret in different ways. I just like adding my own twist to try and pump more depth into each of these silly guys
Thanks for reading if you read this much of my rambling🙂↕️🫶
OURGH this is such a delicious meal oh my god HORGH OM NOM NOM NOM

you did this @skeleton-mischief
dust sans belongs to ask-dusttale
Curled up and grabbed my face with an exaggerated wail because I love this interpretation and I adore when people pay more attention to the Papyri since they're all such interesting characters and have their own worlds and characteristics that have so much potential if only people would take it. I've thought about different ways people interpret Stretch for example and I like to think the two have such an awkward relationship due to them both being secretive about stuff and struggling to balance their protective nature and more private lives. I wonder how Stretch would react to Blooper(Blueberror) and visa versa since they both lost a brother and overall struggle with a lot. Blooper has new trauma and Stretch in your interpretation of him has stuff to deal with as well.
The fact that, oftentimes, even when the Sanses involved in all the Multiverse stuff still have living brothers they're supposedly attached to, those brothers still become irrelevant to their story has always saddened me a bit.
Especially because the Papyruses have the potential to be just as interesting as their brothers.
Like, imagine being Horrortale Paps and your brother gets taken away. Your brother who is the only one holding the little community you live in together. Your brother who is the one making sure that, despite the food scarcity, you still got something in your plate every day.
You worry endlessly about him. You spend days hoping he's still alive, holding fiercely onto that hope that has always defined you. And nobody else believes it. Sans had been starving himself for years, he was bound to drop dead at some point, they say. They all knew it would happen, and they didn't know how to comfort Papyrus when he still refused to believe it.
Papyrus learns to be a leader in his brother's absence. He learns to take charge, become more assertive, and stand up to Undyne. And yet, through it all, he still has the strength to remain kind. He still follows his passion for puzzles. He still cooks any chance he gets. His brother isn't there to act as a buffer between him and the world, so he has to adapt, but adapting doesn't mean giving up everything that is at his core.
And then, one day, Sans comes back. And he has some friends with him. He goes by Horror now, and he's got a bunch of new traumas to deal with. And his friends do too. Killer, Cross, Dust, they're all huddled together, hesitant to approach. Killer's putting on a front, he's all sharp edges and deceiving smiles, Cross is being all formal, he's walking on eggshells constantly, as if Papyrus would hurt him if he dared to step over a line that isn't even there, and Dust doesn't say a word. He doesn't even look at Papyrus.
Papyrus welcomes them all to his home. Horror seems uneasy at first. Papyrus is fine after all. He survived and he and Snowdin are both thriving as much as they can. For a bit, their chat is awkward and stilted, but, eventually, Horror asks: "You don't need me here anymore, do ya bro?". And Papyrus, who never gave up hope and never changed any more than he needed reassures him: "I don't need you, but I would like it if you stayed. I would like to know you're safe" and he's as loud as he's ever been, as bright and positive and, well, Horror can't say no to his little brother.
Cross, Killer, and Dust can also stay as often as they want. His brother has a big heart and he won't care about their bloody pasts. And, yeah, Killer and Cross will probably go back and forth between the Epic Sanses and Horrortale, but at least they have some stability now. At least they know that there is someone out there in the Multiverse who won't look at their scars, their high level, and their EXP and immediately think they're the scum of the Earth, and that's... well, that's nice.
On the other hand, imagine being Underswap Papyrus, and your brother was never taken from you, he chose to leave. And everyone assumes it must have been your fault. Perhaps you were too protective, and that's why. Perhaps you didn't support him enough. Perhaps you didn't get along. Perhaps you were straight-up abusive. The rumors abound both out in the Multiverse and in your own home because Blue didn't go quietly. He doesn't do quiet.
He said goodbye to all his friends while parading around with two literal gods and then he vanished into a golden portal. He dismissed all of your concerns and almost resented you for them. Because he's not weak he's not stupid and he can take care of himself. And you agree with all of those points, he's the coolest after all, but also you know nothing about the Multiverse and there are gods out there, so you can't know if being the coolest is gonna be enough to keep him safe.
Papyrus was never social. He got along with his brother, Ms. Muffet, and the man behind the door. That's his entire circle of friends. And now one of them is gone, and many more people than before have turned hostile. Because Blue is a nice person, he's nice to everyone, he's outgoing and social, of course, he wouldn't just leave his brother unless he did something to deserve that! Especially when everyone knows that Papyrus' HOPE is so low and that he's been struggling with depression for a long time. Blue wouldn't just leave.
Except he did.
Except he left.
Except he's not there anymore, because the Star Sanses could offer him glory and fame, and the love of thousands of AUs, and Papyrus could give him none of that. The only thing he could offer was his support for Blue's dreams and his unconditional love. And it was obvious to both of them that those two things could never be enough.
Papyrus doesn't change, because he was always well-rounded enough to make it by himself, just like his brother was. They were two whole people who never completed one another.
If they meet again, it won't be a sweet reunion like for the Horrortale brothers. It will be in the Omega Timeline if their AU ever gets destroyed. And they will be strangers making awkward small talk that will never develop into anything more than that, because neither of them wants the other to stay.
However, perhaps there in the Omega Timeline Papyrus can find a nice ending to his story. There are people there who are rejects just as much as he is. Who have wild rumors spread about them that are more or less founded than those about him. Other people who lost everything and are trying to find themselves with some help.
And maybe one day he can meet other Papyruses who dealt with being left behind, willingly or not. Horrortale Paps certainly wouldn't mind acquiring a lanky brother too
Now THIS is a favorite playlist of mine! I try to capture this feeling of white boy indie softness mixed with so angst with Stretch and this is a playlist I find myself looping for it! Please lmk if the artist themselves doesn't want their art to be used for things like repost n such. Thank you and enjoy
〈(•ˇ‿ˇ•)-→ Have a bracelet I made for him to go with it
Should I post my Spotify/share AU playlists on here? I have been trying to find the artists as well for each of them, and I'd love some help since most of them I found throughout. If the artist doesn't want their art used btw, please inform me! :-)

I really enjoy content with Dust, so I hope I did him justice!! I made sure to avoid any gendered terms since I see a lot of fem!yn and want some diversity!
(( @whittlorestrash i saw your reblog, love to you( ◜‿◝ )♡))
- He reads as a hobby, so often enough he is fine with parallel play where you would be laying on his lap on your phone or reading while he's focused on his book. Sometimes, when he's not thinking, he'll drift his phalanges to stroke your hair while he's reading
- He loves cooking from anyone, so if you prepare him a meal he'll be grateful for it no matter if you present a dish made for a god or if it is a burnt excuse of food
- His nickname for you would be angel, something he wouldn't call you unless he really got to know you
- He finds comfort in forests, so if you guys went for a walk together he would find it serene to spend time with you there
- He sleeps in a lot due to his constant trouble with sleeping. One thing that brings him comfort is holding you close, since he always has to have his arms wrapped around something or someone. When this happens, you can expect him to not let you go until he's awake
- He is extremely touch starved, but he feels anxious with touch for most of the time. It's an unfamiliar sensation and he feels that he isn't deserving of affection. Nonetheless, small touches would be acceptable from you over time. Small things like locking pinkies, placing his hand on your head, or allowing you to rub his back when he's stressed. He doesn't know how, but at some point he finds himself lingering by you. He'll often tug at your shirt if he wants to have affection, silent as he is
- He's rather protective, especially when around others. He finds that his anxiety heightens around too many people, so he will often loop an arm around you or linger close so that you aren't out of his sight
- His magic tastes of vanilla. Do that with what you will
- He likes photography, so he would carry a picture of you if he could (with your consent of course)
- He can be polite, never raising his voice at you if he can help it. Often, he doesn't say anything to begin with
- He can spend hours in silence with you, doing anything
- If you got a gift from him they would be things like food he picked up somewhere, trinkets, jewelry. He also tends to give you things in your favorite color
- He would absolutely love it if you wore vanilla cologne/perfume
- Hes a great listener for anything, really. He likes to hear your voice and he wouldn't mind listening to you ramble about anything. He's often nonverbal, and he would give little signs to show that he was listening
- He would go ragdoll in your grasp if you cuddled or hugged him
- The only reason he'd hesitate to give you his jacket is because of two reasons. One - dust is all over it and even if it was cleaned he just feels weird without it. Two - he doesn't like people to see his face since he looks so similar to Vanilla. He thinks you wouldn't like the way his eyes look either. Even if you reassured him, he would much prefer to just let you sit in his lap while you're zipped up with him
- He tends to stare a lot. He doesn't mean to, really he doesn't. He just likes observing others, and you're his favorite person to watch. You're pretty.
- He's confused as to why you like him so much, with how guilty he feels about everything that he's done. Because of this, he avoids showing any violent or aggressive behavior around you. He's possessive though, and he doesn't like sharing all that much
- He doesn't realize it, but his bones will tremble when you have long contact with him at the start of getting comfortable around you. He doesn't realize that it's because he's so unused to a comforting touch
- your skin is warm and soft compared to his bone, so he often will stroke your cheek, your arms, your back, anywhere really. He enjoys the sensation, and he thinks of you as the perfect companion to randomly lay on at times. He usually will sit next to you one moment, then either lay on your lap or against your shoulder the next
- I headcanon that Pap's dust is infused with Dust's soul, so often Pap is around. Pap does have a tendency to sometimes drain Dust of energy if there's enough to spare in order to say hi and have a conversation with you if Dust doesn't pass out. If he does, then you can see Pap and even feel some of his ghostly touch if he were to hug you. Pap does respect your privacy with Dust, though, and he would be willing to be in a different room when he notices. He's happy to know you're there for his brother

- He doesn't have the most amazing control of his magic, especially compared to Powder
- Likes bragging about Powder to other people

- Plays the xylophone because he can make puns about it
- Chaotic neutral to chaotic good
- slouches for Powder because he likes to remember when Powder was taller than him

- He feels unworthy in the face of those that do better than him or have "more trauma" than him. He bottles up a lot of his stress
- He tends to be lighthearted and goofy with his friends
- He's not used to people being sincere about their compliments to him despite being popular Underground. Small White lies to make him feel better
- When someone actually cares about what he likes, he's unsure of himself but he actually would love to ramble if he is given the chance
Closing Notes: He's a silly goofy dork y'all not some hot sexy smoker who's actually just a terrible person. I will die on this hill because what am I to do if I just live a life of mountains and choose to do nothing with it?
I'm trying to think of weapons for some of the skeletons because the idea that they have certain weapons for fighting feels cool to me. I think some have them for their own reasons while others would prefer to keep to their normal magic attacks for their own reasons. Below, I'll explore and even have some reasons as to why they have it!
Vanilla: Normal magic bone attacks. He has no reason to summon his own weapons
Cyperus: Normal magic bone attacks. I think that if he had to have a weapon, though, it would be a sword. It requires precision, control, and more up close combat. All of these fit his character because he shows to have a very strong restriction on his magic to prevent his opponent from dying. Not only does it fit into his heroic standpoint, but it also shows that he is willing to get close to his opponent. Here, it's physical, but it can also be metaphorical. After all, he showed that he was willing to do so with Frisk, someone he knew was dangerous
Red: Nothing, because like Vanilla he has no need to summon his own weapon. He thinks it's pointless for himself, he's strong enough without a weapon.
Pitch: Pitch would have a sword that turns into almost a pointed edged whip, showing how when it's a blade, it shows how he's precise and has clarity with his actions when he decides to get the job done. However, the fact that it's a whip at times can also show how he's afraid of actual, personal emotions and tries to lash out. He wants to avoid that. It lashes out just like his own anger, the points of the whip even being able to detach as projectiles to prove how his anger can get out of his control and how it harms others
Powder: If Powder had a weapon he seems like the type to have a hammer that changes size with his level of magic or mental state. He's a character that wants to create, build others up, like a hammer. A hammer is not originally meant to harm, but rather put things together and create something to be better. He wants to be close with Stretch and yet feels distant, so he tries to build their relationship up bit by bit. He had to learn how to use how he works with others to his advantage, showing the strength of how he can build others up while also progressing in the same way. He's able to use that strength to protect others, which is his job as a royal guard and his job as an older brother. But the bigger it gets, the more he weaponizes that even if it's involuntary. It's something that once was useful but is something he can use as a weapon to cause bigger hits emotionally and physically with a greater impact. The bigger it gets, the more overwhelmed he gets, showing how he has the weight and responsibility to care for others being a serious and yet draining task. It also shows how he puts his image of being put together above himself as well, as a hammer is a representation of how he's built his way up to where he is now- a positive example for the guard and a brother who knows what he's doing
Stretch: no need for a weapon, oh no. Not only is he a Sans personality and therefore has his own reasons, but he's softer than them as well. He's a softer Papyrus, and so weapons aren't what he's after
Saint: Saint would have a thigh bone or use something like a meat cleaver for his other activities. I feel that for Saint, it's an extension of how he's weaponized trauma of starvation and violent betrayal. He has something that he already had and worked with what he had, which was a large item that works like a club. It bashes usually things that are in his way, like how he was bashed when he was in the way of Undyne and Alphys but ended up surviving. He has to get up close and personal, something he struggles with emotionally but not otherwise. He would have to put his defenses down first
Lunar: He doesn't have the magic to create anything, but he is absolutely good at using just his normal magic bones, he also uses his physical strength to fight since he's the strongest Papyrus physically.
Carmine: Carmine would have a spear of sorts because he keeps those at a distance while also simultaneously hurting them. He has to be precise in everything he does, from the way he fights to the way he interacts with others. Staffs usually show power and grace, and that's how he's perceived and yet with the blade at the end it shows how he truly is despite the delicacy that comes with the details of the staff. He has a sleek weapon because he has always deliberately *chosen* to have distant relationships with others, mainly Rus. He fits within the Queens standard as well before even being in the Royal guard, a distinction between Razz and him because he's just able to stay the same and is only encouraged to stay the same. Razz had unsteady weapons because it wasn't as bad as before being in the Royal Guard, only to be remade with what he already has into something more intense. Carmine remains the same and doesn't change at all- remaining stale as he was already distant from Rus and never got to be viewed as someone who changed since he avoids that vulnerability even with Rus.
Rus: Please, he's strong enough as it is with his physical body and his magic attacks. He has no need, and he lacks a desire to make his own weapon. The world as it is, the entire underground, is violent and cruel. He sees this, and chooses not to participate in it
Razz: Maybe Razz would have large, bulky hammer-like gloves that work as his fists. I feel that he can't exactly cause direct harm to his opponent without being all up close and personal. He has to get personal, and it shows how he's willing to go straight into the head of battle rather than keeping a distance and attacking from afar. He's a controlling character who fears a loss of control, and his weapon shows how he sometimes brutes his way into things without taking a step back and stopping to think. It shows who he really is, since he ends up just harming those he tries to force a connection with. He ends up just harming his relationship with Cash, his brother, for example because of his controlling, anxious behavior. I want to note that Razz originally has those weapons that are more messy and clunky at first before he is in the royal guard- which changes to be more sleek in design to show how he has changed only in appearance as a guard but still harms with the same weapon. (A way to show how he's also afraid of change- which is why he keeps the same weapon.) It shows how he damaged others before he even was a guard, just in a less professional way until he's accepted by the Queen who makes him more precise and clean in appearance and yet only worsens the damage he causes as they also grow in size at the same time.
Cash: No magical weapon is needed from him as he avoids fighting anyways. He may not be physically that strong, especially because his magic is sick, but he has his ways. Normal magic attacks with their erratic behavior can flow well enough for his survival. He also has no need to destroy anything when he does it well enough. No need to be personal when you avoid fighting in general
Coffee: I think Coffee just doesn't quite use what he has been taught by using rifles simply because he wants to see the bigger picture and is willing to sacrifice what he's been taught in order to help, learn, and be able to break the system in a subtle way. He's strong enough without it, and he doesn't need violence to get his point across.
Wine: Wine seems like he'd have rifles since he's a sharp shooter. He's precise and direct, just like his weapon- but it can show that he's so focused on the small details that he can't see the bigger picture at times. While his brother would be raised with that ability, he changes what he's been taught to fit who he is instead. Wine teaching Coffee how to be a precise sharpshooter can also be a way he hands down his almost blind perception of the state of the underground- kinda like how a scope would abstract you from your surroundings.
Ace and Bullet: they both would choose a smaller weapon like a simple pistol because it's small and yet deadly. They have a very playful and almost disarming type of personality but they can still cause damage despite this. As bosses they need to look at the bigger picture with clarity, pistols still needing to be aimed correctly but having the capacity to see everything before the shooter. They have chosen to specifically choose to be flashy in appearance but be more subtle with their violence by making it a small weapon of choice. They have other weapons to work with like crowbars, but their go to will always be a weapon they can grab quickly- like how they have to be ready for anything to strike them but wanting to be the one to strike first.
_______________________________________________
Reaper: Reaper would have chain scythes specifically in my opinion too because he's a more violent, precise character. The chains can resemble how he reaches out and harms others upon impact as he pulls them closer. Scythes are Death's weapon, and I feel that the reason they curve is not just for a more efficient kill, but it almost pulls someone in closer as an intimate act of vulnerability. Maybe they can shift to almost small scythes on a loop that's attached to his hip always and they possibly remain small when he needs a more subtle strike. When he does strike? It's with the chained scythes that just grow in size from their original state.
Crow: I think his brother would have a lantern as his "weapon" or at least item of choice. He's meant to be a peaceful death, so a lantern to work as a guide through the darkness of the afterlife would be a neat concept to think about with his characterization. He's clear headed, precise, and a figure of guidance through a peaceful transition of change. He doesn't harm others like Reaper does, remaining as a guide rather than someone that aims to be a vulnerable act of violence. He's not vengeful or ruthless, and he's never had to be as someone who guides peaceful souls to the afterlife
Killer: Killer seems to really like knives. I feel that if used correctly, it can also show his like- character. I feel that he collects knives outside his timeline but the main knife he uses is the one that originally was meant for the player, or technically Chara's knife. It's a neat way of him weaponizing his trauma while also showing betrayal of him wielding it despite it being a source of his suffering. The knife represents the LV that humans have, and he uses that to weaponize what was once used against him to harm others or to end what he considered the suffering of those underground. It shows how he strikes from behind, an unexpected move with his erratic behavior. He's up close, personal with his weapon. The way Cupid uses his weapon to be an intimate act of violence is similar to Killer- except Killer uses the knives he has as a way to call back to what his suffering was caused by and sees that intimacy as a way to almost get back at his trauma
Dream: Dream has a bow and arrow, something that I also think would have the ability to turn into a harp. He is precise, focused, and has to take initiative while still being detached from the fight- like how he's truly detached from his brother and can't get up close and personal. What's different with his distance from him is that the arrows in Dream's bow flies out, free of his control and yet charged with direction. He has to know exactly what he wants and trust in the arrow like how he trusted fate when he first became the Guardian and eventually God of Positivity. The harp just shows the delicacy, peace, and calm of his soul. The idea that he'd only transform his bow to its canonical staff would be to deter hits, when he does have to be up close and personal with his brother when they fight. He doesn't want to outright just want to swing and be erratic, using his staff to stop getting harmed by keeping distance between the blades and himself
Nightmare: I feel that Nightmare would have Khopesh blades since they're considered twin weapons. They're up close, personal, and the fact that they're twin weapons mimics how he's weaponized and grown to use the trauma of his past to harm others. He is balanced out with Dream by using these weapons as he's not afraid to lash out and harm who he deems as too close. He knows that his negativity can physically harm Dream, just as Dream can harm him, so both almost have this silent acceptance to use weapons over using other attributes. Neither wants to kill the other, even if both can harm each other, but that comes with the risk of being vulnerable and letting each other close.
Closing Notes: i love weapons and I love symbolism that comes with it. I want it to actually fit with the characters without it just being a random decision (at least if it's not that kind of story where it's just a clusterfuck of fun and stuff) thank you for reading and please share what you think :-)

He hates those who waste their lives away, doing nothing with their gifts
His magic smells of rain over a garden
He hates that the other Gods make his job harder during battles, especially since most of those lives didn't deserve to die so quickly
Morally grey, he has done things that others find heartless
He can spend hours sniffing candles and perfumes, he just loves different scents
His magic weakens in life's presence
When the tree of emotions died, he mourned her death secretly while watching Nightmare mourn as well while Dream had visions of him while a statue
Sings during a hunt
He finds a thrill in chasing others when they're afraid, usually using banter despite their reluctance or fear
Closing Notes: i just think hes neat, he doesn't have a playlist I made for him that makes me insane or anything.
Me:
Looking forward to the dresses!! Do you have any specific outfits in mind for their normal everyday wear?
Oh I meant looking on Tumblr since I can't draw very well😭 BUT!! FEAR NOT!!!
I do have headcanons to more everyday outfits and aesthetics!!
Enjoy below! I decided to do the main set of brothers and Dust too! Maybe even a special set of guest since I think of them from time to time,,,
Vanilla: He likes clothing with a lot of layers, more bagginess, and clothes that prioritize comfort. He's not very stylish but he's gotten a hold of some clothes that help him get more in touch with what's "fashionable." He's not someone who likes a tight fit, usually directed towards casual wear, and he's often seen wearing shades of blue, grey, or white
Cyperus: The more expressive the style, the better. He's not one to shy away from color, and he prefers really anything he finds cool. He can be seen with his red scarf of course, and with that he's given a lot to work with! Sure, it can be far from fancy, but he likes it whether it's super simple or super "everywhere!" As long as he likes it, it's perfect for his artsy and sometimes classic fashion tastes
Powder: He has a bit of style thanks to being older, meaning that he's had time to figure out his style and being able to have others in the house help him with fashion. He likes a good business casual wardrobe, something that he can look good in and feel good in. Sporty street wear is also a style he loves and he'll often be seen wearing blues, blacks, white, and even sometimes orange since it reminds him of his brother
Stretch: He likes casual street wear that has layers and brighter colors. Hes expressive with androgynous 70's and 90's fashion, and anything with oranges or yellows. He likes comfort, but he's a little more aware of his tastes and he's not afraid to get dressed up as long as it's not a super tight fit.
Red: Any alt style fits him best since I think styles like emo, punk, or grunge all suit him. Overall it depends on the day and style of clothing he's willing to put on! Most of the time, he's too lazy, so grunge is an expressive style that he doesn't have to be uncomfortable in! Layers are a definite comfort and he can vary from wearing reds, blacks, and even purple
Pitch: He's one of the most style conscious skeletons in the household, so you'll see him sometimes fluctuate between styles. It's always something elegant or more straight and defined. Reds are his favorite to dress up in, but he's open to anything with darker colors or cooler themes. Formal wear and classic wear is his favorite exploration, but he can be coaxed to wear something bold and different if he likes it.
Saint: He's always about comfort, simplicity, and the occasional color that differs from bright and bold. He will go for casual fits, grunge occasionally, or vintage style clothes he finds at the thrift store. He's not hard to please since a good shirt and pair of pants work too, and he will usually add layers for comfort and extra protection. He will usually also wear long sleeves, but he just doesn't pay too much attention about how it's a habit for him
Lunar: He really likes vintage style clothing and like Cyperus, he also enjoys artsy styles that help with forms of expression. He's cheap and good at finding clothes at thrift stores, always willing to sew it up or combine comfort with style. Androgynous clothing in shades of pretty reds, browns, and whites are also something he's fond of as long as it can fit with his scarf
Carmine: Lets talk about business styles and how he can range from casual to form fitting. He likes it sleek, fashionable, humble, yet occasionally bold. He's just as fashion conscious about his looks in the same way Pitch is, which means the two share similar styles. Unlike Pitch, however, he wears more gold and his clothes usually are paired with little to no accessories in comparison. He's a skeleton all about appearance, and that means he has to always either fit right in or stand out as someone who's more collected and confident
Rus: Androgyny to him is what best defines him other than grunge or biker clothing. He's not afraid to stand out for wearing tears, skirts, strapped tops, etc. He really loves exploring clothes that are prominently orange and red, but he's not against the occasional purple. He likes it layered, tight, loose, simple, complex, etc as long as it's not too bright and overstimulating. He wants to look cool, and he will accomplish that whether that means going thrift shopping for clothes or getting Carmine to indulge him with extra cash he can work to earn later
Razz: He will always wear more business, formal clothes with a lot of accessories. He wears golds, blacks, purples, and he really likes that he's able to spend good money on deals that leave his wardrobe fancy. He's also willing to put on more of a pop to his fashion unlike Cash, even if that means drawing in unwanted attention. He doesn't mind though, he will always flex his attire when he can tell someone is just staring at him which causes his ego to grow and makes him preen at the attention
Cash: Casual street wear is his every day style but he's not afraid to admit how simple he likes something or how he's able to go in public without causing too many eyes on him. Unlike Rus, he leans less on the idea of wearing skirts often and he also has more purples, greens, and oranges in his style. Really, 90's style also influences him, especially since he can find good deals at thrift stores this way. He picks clothes that he knows will draw a bit more attention than the average monsters, but he overall likes what he likes and if that also means wearing meme shirts then so be it
Wine: Fancy business, formal, military, or academic style clothing is where hes at his best. He makes sure to always be dressed in fancy attire that's tight, direct, and perfectly expensive enough to let him flex since he has so much money dedicated just for clothes. He rarely wears the same thing twice and he's sure as hell not going to change that. He was the one to coax Vanilla to actually dress up more since the two often exchanged deals on letting him dress Vanilla up in exchange to having a day dedicated to trying new things
Coffee: Layers of comfortable fabric is what he likes to wear a lot since he's rarely ever willing to change out of his favorite hoodie. However, Wine loves to dress him in academic clothing or elegant types of formal wear. He wears the most browns on his outfits in the house to feel less overstimulated in too, unless the occasional orange or yellow sparks his interest. Interestingly, he also tends to wear the most minimalist style of clothing and he chose this on purpose to let Wine piece together outfits that don't feel overwhelming to him with all their patterns, textures, etc
Dust: He for a long time refused to change his hoodie or scarf out until way later. He still wears his scarf, but he's more willing to wear more casual, minimalist clothing with more dulled colors or grunge since Red got him to grow into liking the style. He finds ways to hide his face still but I already headcanon that his face becomes more and more visible as time moves on so outfits with hats are a pleasant thing for him that can also feed into that headcanon. He doesn't pick specific styles or colors unlike some of the others, but hes okay with that. As long as he can dress up well and hide most of his face, shit you could even get him to dress in formal wear if you're able to find a way to keep the scarf
Cupid: Tight fitting clothes in glamorous, elegant outfits is what he lives for. He's the most style conscious person and he will always dress to impress. The only time he's not wearing something that pops with color and fancy, sleek fashion is when he's having an off day or if he needs new clothes since he rarely wears the exact same outfit twice. He loves accessories and he will definitely aim for pink colors
Desi: Desi likes elegant, romantic, and more feminine outfits overall that pop with pinks, cream, and wealth. He isn't afraid to wear comfy clothing, but he always needs to look good even when relaxing in his opinion. He has accessories of his own, and he likes any clothes that have a cute look to them. He won't go thrift shopping, but he's been given some of his favorite clothes or accessories from Lunar since he sometimes will receive such gifts from there. Sure it's not his taste to go there, but Lunar was considerate enough and that makes Desi teary eyed to begin with so he'll try to wear those gifts often
