Hunter - Master Chief Petty Officer of the SWORD Special Forces - BadBatch

Tech - Petty Officer, Brain Center, Helmsman

Wrecker - Seaman First Class, weapon expert, gunner

Crosshair - Seaman First Class, sniper

Echo - CP-agent assigned to BadBatch to monitor their movements and missions

Omega - a young girl from the lab on Egg Head Island

All of them except Echo, who is agent of Cipher Pol, unsuccessful experiment, first attempts to create an army of obedient soldiers; Omega is the most successful experiment of all, Vegapunk managed to put in her Supreme King Haki.

Hunter, Tech, Wrecker and Crosshair were created before the first Pacifists, but were deemed unprofitable, the World Government needs perfectly obedient machines for destruction and these are the same people who are full of Marines.

Vegapunk did not want to dispose of them and sent them to the Marine, where they served together until they were noticed by the commander of SWORD. Seeing the attitude of other sailors to these "artificial people" he invited them to the organisation as a special unit for small missions to avoid distracting the higher-ranking members.

They are having arrived on the Egghead island to watch over the yonko Mugiwara Luffy, they landed near the laboratories and, naturally, got into all the further mess. While on the island they met a girl - and after she has told her story, they realized that she was also an experiment like them, and Hunter felt a great power of Supreme King Haki in her.

After they listen to the Vegapunk recording and confirm their assumptions about the World Government, the squad decides that they no longer want to serve a mass destruction. They manage to get off the island before the Iron Giant is activated, thanks to everyone being focused on the escape of Mugiwaras and Bonnie.

Then they set out to roam the world in search of a safe haven, because now they are deserters and are being hunted by their former colleagues.

All the Batch were "artificial humans with genetic improvements," and they served by disobeying orders that seemed questionable to them.

Hunter has a super-sense, Crosshair has supernatural vision and never misses, Tech can analyze huge amounts of information and knows several languages, including ancient, Wrecker has a physical super strength, and he also learned the advanced Armament Haki.

Omega possesses Supreme King Haki, which Hunter noticed immediately, and this was one of the reasons why he decided to take the girl with him because she could be hunted.

Echo, as a member of Cipher Pol, is trained by Rokushiki. He uses three styles out of six: Soru (high speed and stealthy movement), Tekkai (covering body with "metal"), Geppo (moving by air).

Everyone is able to manage with Haki in sufficient measure for a battle (Hunter advances Observation Haki, above the normal rate even for strong users).
