Love this scene becuase the tech looks like eyes and sonic has been so blinded by seeing his friends in these people and tails in Nine and now he has to forcibly separate them that just because he has a good relationship with one doesn’t mean it’ll carry over in the other and yet it almost did and could’ve and he is regulated with Nine’s care and it’s all he sees and then he has to pull his hands away and I know I’m reading too deep into this but every time I watch this scnece im punched in the gut with the eye imagery and the implications

what makes Shadow so good is that he's made of love. obviously his initial creation was due to Gerald's love for Maria, but more importantly his continued existence and his purpose come from Maria's love for the world. yes he's edgy and weird and cringe but his love for a little girl who wanted to see the world is what recreated him after his proverbial and literal falls, and I will NEVER be normal about that
