 there  is  a  sense  of  yearning,  deep  inside  your  soul,  something  illuminating  this  dark  and  moonless  night.  you  have  been  wandering  for  quite  a  while  now,  wandering  upon  the  soil  just  as  you  travel  the  stars  above.  unfamiliar  stars  twinkle  overhead  from  a  universe  not  under  your  rule,  their  brilliant  shining  weaved  in  prophesies  and  fate  that  curls  your  lips  with  worry.  something,  no,  someone  is  beckoning  you  ---  you  can  feel  it,  something  ethereal  and  genuine,  someone  divine  and  pure.  

         there  is  another  celestial  being  upon  this  world,  and  they  ache;  this  insistent  calling  to  you  have  you  walking  faster;  all  the  trees  and  rocks  here  look  the  same.  you  are  thinking  about  setting  a  beacon  into  the  sky,  damn  the  natives  of  this  world,  before  you  see  her  twirling  in  frustration  on  where  to  turn.  it  is  not  her  appearance  that  has  you  gasping,  but  it  is  the  light  that  exists  in  her,  past  the  mortal  flesh  that  others  may  think  her  as.

           a  starry  night,  bright  lights  in  heaven's  black,  two  stars  meet  each  other  upon  earthen  soil.  you  walk  forward,  an  instant  sense  of  relief  bursting  out  of  your  chest,  your  faux  heart  beating  right  out  of  your  chest.  you  look  at  her,  and  she  trembles  in  a  way  that  makes  you  ache.  

           ❝  oh,  little  light.  ❞  your  breath  out  as  she  walks  forward,  and  you  open  your  arms,  holding  her  as  she  collapses  into  your  arms.    ❝  it  is  alright;  you  are  not  alone.  ❞

“ i’m a padawan, not a youngling,” nala huffs. “ there’s a difference. could a youngling do this? ” the very this being quite the display—a toss of her lightsaber into the air before doing a backflip and catching it behind her.   `   @intergalacticxmisfits​​

   when  the  celestial  court  requested  their  god-king  to  seek  the  help  of  jedi's,  arrakis  was  quite  reluctant..  bringing  a  foreign  force  into  their  domain  was  a  significant  matter,  much  to  say  the  cultural  differences.  beside  him,  his  guards  nearly  scoff  and  roll  their  eyes  at  the  padawan's  display.  unlike  his  court,  the  god-king  leans  forward  in  his  throne  of  stars,  clearly  amused  at  her  demonstration.  " they  bring  both  protection  and  tricks!  " arrakis  remarks,  standing  up,  pure  white  hair  flowing  behind  him  ---  eyes  of  universes  sparkling  in  her  direction.  

         "   is  padawan  your  name?   "  he's  trained  very  hard  for  this  moment,  mortal  tongue  seems  complicated  for  the  celestial,  but  as  he  steps  down  from  his  thrown,  it  seems  he  can  hold  the  entire  world  in  his  hands.  "   my  praise,  that  was  a  display  worth  first  meeting!  unfortunately,  i  have  nothing  as  extraordinary  as  that  to  show  you.  perhaps,  we  can  discuss  more  tricks  later?  you  can  show  them  to  me  if  you'd  like,  but  i'm  afraid  my  advisors  would  scold  my  curiosity  rather  than  act  upon  the  reason  why  we  called  you  here.  "

Dolphin Head Nebula

Otherwise known as Sh2-308, this bubble like nebula has been created by the Wolf-Rayet star, the slightly dimmer star in the centre of the structure.

This star is near supernova, around 70,000 years ago it blew off it's first layer of hydrogen gas, which has over time formed the bubble we see today.

The image was created by Yovin Yahathugoda which is among the shortlisted entries for this year’s Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, organised by the Royal Observatory Greenwich in London.

you tend to be more preoccupied with practical things, to the point where you've been blinded to matters of the heart. sure, you're close with this person. you like to be close with people. it is rewarding to know and be known in return. you leave realization no choice but to sneak up on you. they're not even in the room when it happens. someone or something else spells it out for you, an observant friend's passing comment or a particular sentence you were reading in a book, and suddenly it hits you, what it all means. the person your feelings have been building themselves around. Oh. it's them. it's time. it's them and you, here and now, and you have to decide what to do at this crossroads. luckily, you're practically-minded.
