Once I realised that I was Aro/Ace, I actually started to appreciate love and romance more.

Before, it always was this vague concept everyone was supposed to be a part of no matter what, but now it seems more like a fun way people can interact with eachother if they choose to do so.

Now that I no longer feel obligated to be a part of the whole romance thing, I'm actually more interested in stories containing romantic tropes. It feels freeing to no longer feel forced to picture myself in those situations.

My foot has been hurting for the last five days and is making it agonizing to try and do my PT.

It doesn’t hurt all the time but if I bend my foot up towards my ankle it hurts or point it.

This is weird

So I only got diagnosed last week right? I’ve been in pain for years but I never had a name for it that explained the extreme it would go to.

Well today I was walking around with some of my friends getting ready for the show we are putting on and I open the door for them and right after they walk in my hip shoots pain and I hit the deck, unable to get up because of pain.

I don’t know wtf happened, but my hip has hurt ever since regardless of position, sitting, standing, laying

So the prop department is lending me a cane, but can anyone tell me what could possibly have happened?

Help Me Get New Mobility Aids!!!

Happy Disability Pride Month! I initially wasnt going to make a post to try to get new mobility aids/tools, but I really need them, so what the hell.

I am a multiply disabled Black lesbian and I have been without proper supportive mobility since the start of the pandemic. I had many of my things broken or thrown away during this time period, and I thought I could go without but its been so long and I really cant anymore.

I need smart/ergonomic forearm crutches because regular forearm crutches wreck my fragile hypermobile wrists, I need braces for both legs and ankles, a shower bench and detachable showerhead. All of this combined is a bit over $550.

I REALLY need this, esp the crutches! My mobility and bodily autonomy would be GREATLY increased If I was able to get these items. I
