Astro Witch 101

So, you love astrology but have just realised that you are no longer just your sun sign. It’s a confusing and intimidating thing for a beginner astro-witch to see. That’s why I have decided to create a little guide to help anyone out. This will be the very basics but will be added to over time. Baby steps for baby-witches.

Terminology

Sun Sign = The controller. This is your main sign. The sign you have known your whole life thinking that’s where it ended.

Moon Sign = Your inner-self. Your emotions, inner-thoughts, wants and needs are all controlled by your moon sign.

Ascendant/Rising = Acceptably called either, the Ascendant/Rising is your natural mask in the face of society. So basically, this is how people view you.

Mercury = A very important sign, it rules your decision making mind. It is how you communicate and can be easy to spot in a person.

Venus = This sign rules love and finances.

Mars = Most represent Mars with anger, and this is true. But it is so much more than that. This sign rules our animal instincts, energy, action and sexual desires.

Jupiter = This sign covers rules both generosity, tolerance and wisdom.

Saturn = This sign represents fears, our limitations and responsibility

Uranus = This sign is all about individuality. Progressiveness, forward-thinking and fresh-starts.

Neptune = This sign rules the subconscious. Dreams, psychic-sensitivity and inspiration.

Pluto = This sign represents rebirth. New-beginnings and growth.

i annotate books with cryptic and cute notes only because i wish to donate it to a used bookstore later; in the hopes that someone will pick it up and slowly fall in love with me and my personality, left to wonder who this eccentric person was who poured their heart out into this writing <3

Magical Parenting ✨

• Teach your children the importance of grounding, deep breathing, higher thinking and meditation.

• keep crystals in their room (out of reach if their the age to put things in their mouths) for creativity, calm, imagination, and good sleep.

•anoint them with protection oil before they set out for the day.

• teach them the power of their words; about manifestation and speaking their intentions into existence.

• all kitchen witchery, choose foods and herbs that you correspond with self-love, determination, success, happiness, etc.

• observe how they respond to nature. foster any interests they have and teach them the magic of the world around them.

•keep a satchet/crystal/mini spell jar for success and determination in/on/near training potty or toilet during potty training.

•add essential oils to their humidifier.

•write original songs, books, stories & do crafts with them. they can all be forms of spells. ecreate a sigil from their name, use for protection spells, lunch box notes, birthday cards, etc.

•essential oils in their shoes to guide their steps towards success.

💧Water/sea/lunar/love witches- lotus, lily, jasmine, gardenia, magnolia, violet, rose, peony, geranium, orchids, hydrangea, lilac, passion flower, petunia

☁️Air/storm/cosmic witches- (any aromatic/light flower) lavender, babys breath, dandelion, daisy, heather, freesia, daffodil, chrysanthemum, forget-me-nots, st John’s wort, primrose, bluebell, linden

🔥Fire/solar/desert witches- sunflower, hibiscus, poppy, chamomile, chrysanthemum, aster, marigold, calendula, snapdragon, cactus flower, prickly pear blossom, carnations, poinsettia, st John’s wort

🌲Green/earth/ forest witches-(any bulb/foraging/herbal flower) tulips, feverfew, echinacea, passionflower, comfrey, amaryllis, hyacinth, dahlia, iris, catnip flower, sage flower, basil flower

🏠Kitchen/cottage witches- (any edible/fruit/vegetable flower) such as elder flower, honeysuckle, passionflower, apple blossom, strawberry blossom, orange blossom, rose, pansy, squash flower, marigold

🌼Healing/garden/tea witches- (any healing/edible/aromatic flower) such as calendula, chamomile, helitrope, lavender, milk thistle, beebalm, yarrow, red clover, rosehip, passionflower, elderflower, lilac, violets, and orchids
