I’m really disappointed in VAs who haven’t spoken out against basic issues.

Like, it’s truly not that difficult to say “genocide bad” or put a watermelon emoji in your bio.

Or like, idfk, just saying shit like “women should have the right to choose” or smt.

But no, that’s just too hard for some of y’all. Obviously, you’re not obligated to do that, but if you don’t do that, it gives me a perfect image of what kind of person you are.

It’s not gonna “ruin your reputation” if you just say that women should have the right to their own bodies, that genocide is bad, and trans people should be able to express their gender, etc. Like, especially after the election, it has become ten times more important to say those things.

I don’t care if you have a “reputation”, you speak into a microphone and post that on YouTube, I doubt you have a massive reputation that you need to uphold.

I don’t know if I’m sounding too pushy, either way, I don’t care. If you don’t speak out, I’m not going to give you my time.

I know this isn't exactly abaut the VAs or asmr rp in general but seeing people use Gacha Life 2 to make their listener ocs/designs makes me feel so happy

Like I can't draw for shit so I use gacha for a lot of my designs but I always felt embarrassed abaut using it like it was childish or smth lol, but seeing so many people do it too and post their designs on Tumblr and seeing VAs react to them feels so validating you guys have no idea

So yeah keep up with the good work guys, your listener ocs are awesome and your designs are even more amazing!

More white VAs need POC side and background characters. I understand why they don't want to make POC characters that they personally voice, but all their character line ups for one series always look so boring just being white, white, white. It's okay to add color to your side characters, it's okay to collab with a VA who's a POC for your POC character!
