So uh I made some changes to my art style and this whole thing was just me practicing with it

Also yes the one with the pink hair is aliyahsinterlude, specifically from a screenshot from IT GIRLs mv

I just thought the look ate(all of her looks do tbh) + I realised I'm not that good at shading darker skin tones so I wanted to practice on that + puffed out(?)/curly hair

Did I capture it perfectly? No. Am I still proud of it? Fuck yea, I just hope I did her justice /gen

This inspired me to draw how I think haruka would react to watching a studio ghibli film for the first time

Also here is what I think some of the prisoners fav studio ghibli films would be:

Haruka: When marnie was there (he'd either absolutely love and relate to it or FUCKING HATE IT)

at first I thought he'd like my neighbour totoro but then I immediately thought he'd actually HATE THAT because 1 - animals and 2 - Children, also he'd probably dislike the boy and heron too just because of the heron

Mahiru: howls moving castle

I don't think I need to explain, it's cute it's beautiful and it's got romance, castle in the sky is a close second

Fuuta: I actually think he wouldn't really be a big fan of ghibli films, but maybe he'd say spirited away or my neighbour totoro idk fuuta stans pls help

Mikoto: maybe castle in the sky? Or ponyo- idfk dude help I know he'd probably like ghibli films I just don't know what his fav would be

I honestly have no idea for the rest so feel free to share your own opinions on this I'd love to hear them!

Does anyone else think Haruka would really like Studio Ghibli stuff??? Like??? A lot??? Because it has that??? Feeling??? Youthful, free but not quite infantilized??? And there are themes I think he’d really like to see???

"If Hanahaki Was Real"

'If hanahaki was real,' thought the brunette as they stared into the distance

'I don't think I'd have survived.'

The signs start with that pit in your stomach, The seed of the disease slowly growing and planting roots.

"Hey dude, you ok?" I come to my senses, Looking at the concerned person with short black hair sitting behind me.

The roots spread all around you, Your mind, Your blood cells, Your soul, Your heart.

A moment of staring passes, I decide to be truthful with my answer.

And it starts feasting on your life force, Chowing down your will to live, Replacing it with a desire.

"Truth be told, No, Not really at all." I slightly shake my head, A tired smile adorning my face.

"Why don't you come sit next to me? Isn't it lonely sitting by yourself in the row?" They comment. Mentioning the fact that I'm the only one of my friends to be sitting behind them.

And even if I appreciate the offer...

A desire of that persons love.

I'd rather be closer to them.

Ah love.

The spiritual form of all those flowers blooming in ones body.

As time passes, Despite my eyes opening up a slight bit, I feel a need to spit my guts out.

But those flowers grow with the affection you harbour towards them.

They need space.

As I get closer to the bathroom, I feel a familiar sense of things rushing up my throat.

But...

And when they don't have enough space,

This time...

They are left with no choice,

It feels different...

Other than to overflow.

'But these soft blue rose petals coming out of my throat are.'

Pizza gets pregnant idfk

Monster had no idea what was going on in their heads when they thought of this idea. I mean- Obviously not this but- Surely this wasn't it, Right?

They had just been out shopping with the girls, Getting groceries and what not, When suddenly Zemsy of all people decided to try a pregnancy test, Hamham following suit. Monster didn't really mind or care about the whole thing. But Pizza for some reason seemed rather interested in the whole thing.

He had been throwing up alot and morning sickness was another thing that had recently plagued the triangle heads life. It had gotten so bad that it caused the birth of a new running joke in their little friend group. The joke being that D.Pizza is pregnant.

He himself participated and even added new bits and pieces to it every now and then, Telling the can that he's going to be a father and how he must be prepared to take responsibility.

Monster didn't mind, his boyfriend was having fun and it's not like he was opposed to the idea of having children either. He just hoped that all the sickness Pizza was experiencing wasn't anything harmful and would hopefully go away with the medication the doctor prescribed.

But what he didn't expect was for the jokes to end up no longer being just jokes.

He was waiting outside the bathroom just chatting with the girls when he heard a crash from inside. Concerned, He went in to check on Pizza.

"Babe? Everything alright in there?"

.

He didn't hear a response.

So, He called again.

"Dear are you in there? I heard a crash so I came to check.."

.

.

.

No response again. So he went up to the stall he saw D.Pizza going into. And just before taking the final step, his foot touched something.

It was a pregnancy test that seemed to have slid out from under the gap in the stalls door. Monster leaned down to take a closer look, assuming that it was most likely Pizzas. But something caught him off guard.

The pregnancy test was showing two lines.

The test was positive...

He was thrown out of his shocked state when he heard the door to the stall opening, Revealing Pizza with tears streaming down his face. Without even thinking the can took his boyfriend into his arms, kissing him passionately.

The people around them were giving them weird looks but in that moment, The world around them didn't exist. It was just the two of them and what was hopefully a new life formed from their passion and feelings.

They finally let go of eachothers lips to catch their breaths, Inhaling and exhaling heavily.

"We're gonna be parents..." Said Pizza, still seemingly unable to belive the reality that was revealed to them mere seconds ago.

Monster smiled warmly at his boyfriend.

"Yeah. Yeah, we are."

"Are you boys done in there? We've been waiting for quite a few minutes now!" They heard the hamburger yell from outside the bathroom.

They gave eachother a knowing look "Do we tell them?" Asked Monster.

"Nah, I've got a feeling they already knew" D.Pizza grinned, as they went outside, Now with one more person to accompany them.

This took way longer than it should have-

Uhm anyway I didn't want to actually color her because it had already taken so long so I just opted for a pink-ish grayscale version so uh

A fire reignited

“You came after all. I thought you were a scaredy cat” The pizza head looked at Monster with a smug grin on his face.

“I’m gonna fuck you” Monster smirked.

D.Pizza chuckled “Funny, That’s what I used to do with you!” He charged at him. Punching the can in the face. It hit him straight in the nose, Breaking it.

“Ugh, You bastard!!” Monster grabbed Pizza by the collar, Hitting his cheesy head with his own metal one. “Was breaking my nose once not enough for you?! You broke it again!!”

They tussled and turned, Until they ended up on the floor with Pizza on top of Monster.

“Ha! You’re made of metal and yet you can’t push me off. Did you go for zepzep purely out of spite? Or was it actually because you’ve taken a liking to people who won’t put up a fight?” D.Pizza smirked.

The can gasped “How dare you!!?? My love for zepzep is as true as it was…!”

He stopped himself mid-sentence, Hesitating. “Tch.”

D.Pizza gave a confused look. “As true as what?”

Monster didn’t answer, he couldn’t even look Pizza in the eye.

“Answer me dipshi-“

“It’s as true as the love I had for you!”

A beat passed by.

Nothing but silence and the rhythm of their hearts could be heard.

“W…What..?” D.Pizza was caught off guard. He waited a bit, expecting Monster to make a snarky remark or use the opportunity to land a hit on him, But the piece of metal didn’t do anything.

D.Pizza sighed “You’re still hung up on that?”

“Of course I am dumbass!” Monster yelled “You think I can just forget everything and move on as if you didn’t cheat on me with some cheap whore from the damn bar I worked at!!?? Dear god, Do you even know how much you’ve hurt me?!”

D.Pizza had a shameful look on his face “Look, I know that I did some…not so great things back in the day, But I’ve changed!”

“No you fucking haven’t.” Monster looked disgusted “Zepzep told me everything, about how you kissed a Hamburger in front of his fucking face.”

“Hey you leave her out of this!”

“Why? You’re probably gonna cheat on her too!”

That pissed Pizza off “Can you fucking stop?! I already told you I’ve changed, I’m not the same as before-“

“Did you ever even love me?!” Monster cut him off, Pushing against Pizzas hold against his wrists.

D.Pizza was caught off guard, He pushed back down against the other, struggling to hold him down “What are you talking about? Of course I did! I-“

“THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU CHEAT ON ME?!” Monster yelled, The pain evident from the cracks in his voice. He turned his head, Looking away. But even then, You could tell he was holding back tears that had gathered up from years ago.

Suddenly it started raining. It was as if the sky felt pity for him and was trying to help Monster cover his tears.

“Tch, God damn it” Pizza gave a sigh and then…

He kissed Monster, Like how he used to many years ago.

Monster, Caught off guard and wide eyed, tried to push back against him. To throw his ex lover off of himself. But…There was a voice inside of him.

A voice that yearned for that familiar sensation, Yearned to be in D.Pizzas arms again, To let go of everything and just feel the others warmth against the cold of the rain and the cement floor beneath them.

And you know what? Monster wanted to give in. He was so tired from the constant back and forth the pair had had, both physically and verbally, for the past few hours.

And so, He did. The can relaxed his body, Let go of his tears and kissed the pizza back.

He felt...Free. Like the heaviest of burdens had just been taken off of his back.

Their kiss deepend, Became more heated. Years of unresolved tension finally being broken and manifesting itself into endless want and desire.

Suddenly, The image of the cute little alien who had stolen his heart popped into Monsters head.

He pushed back with so much force that D.Pizza nearly got thrown.

The can was breathing heavily “What the fuck am I doing?”

The triangle head reached out his hand to touch the metal heads cheek “What’s wrong?” He asked.

Monster slapped his hand away “Stop, I can’t do this to zepzep” The can looked ashamed “I resent you for cheating on me and yet here I am kissing YOU of all people behind my lovers back…How can I be so stupid…?” He asked himself.

D.Pizza smirked “Actually, I’ve got a proposal to make.”

The can gave a sceptic look “And what may that be?”

“How about you, Me AND zepzep go poly?” The pizza grinned.

Monster took a second to process what had been said to him.

“Are you suggesting a threesome?”

“Mhm”

“And what about your current partner?” He tilted his head.

“Eh” D.Pizza shrugged “We’ll just invite her to the polycule, The more the merrier am I right?”

Monster had some concern in his eyes “Shouldn’t we discuss this with them first?”

“We’ll do that when the time comes, BUT for now” D.Pizza gave an all too familiar smirk “Your place or mine?”

Monster was taken aback, He couldn’t believe such a thing was happening. But he wasn’t opposed to it one bit. He gave the other a smile.
