as an alterhuman (more specifically therian) artist with a lot of 'types that have tails I have a voice in my head that tells me to draw any and every character from media that isnt human (except for certain ones like Splatoon inkfish creatures cause they're too human looking) with a tail. I'm pretty sure that this is because I use art as a form of therapy and usually draw things that I want myself (a tail is one of those things) so I can imagine it a bit better but having to repress the urge to draw a character that canonically doesn't have a tail (cause there's another part of my brain that's dedicated to logic and sensemaking) can be quite annoying

But for real shout-out to my friend who has to listen to me yap about invader zim on a daily basis even though I try to keep it down as much as possible (which is not a lot but I'm trying) and the fact that he hasn't hurt me physically for it yet is honestly impressive. I mean he's hurt me mentally but I'm glad he hasnt strangled me yet

I ask the people who came before me if any of them may be otherkin or therian and a little sweet girl who couldn't be older than 10 proceeds to tell me she's a fox therian😭😭ASHWLRJ BBTLEJTOEE IM SOBBING AND HER MOM WAS SO NICE ABOUT IT TOO

please just let me have a consistent way of existing I don't want to constantly switch between wanting to rip someone's intestines out, bite down on their neck so they can't breathe, feed on them after the life has faded from their eyes etc and just wanting to never have been born, being tired all the time thus trying to sleep for as long as possible whenever i can, escape reality via indulging in the most useless rabbit holes on the internet etc

I'm not more of a borzoi than I am any other canine but I do think that they're silly

I hate that I chew on my arm subconsciously sometimes and how my "friends" point it out while laughing at me

especially when I might've doodled on it beforehand and now my mouth is stained with ink that I have to wash off somehow
