Gomez Addams IMMEDIATELY going to Gotham after his weird nephew from New Jersey started dressing as a Bat, beating people up in the dead of night, dropped out of college, and called him to ask for sword fighting and eyeliner tips:
#A struggle
Bruce is insecure about his position in his family.
The seed was planted from the beginning, when he first met Dick and was turned down as a father.
At that time, he himself didn't think it was a big deal. Dick is a traumatized kid who has yet to know him. But as the time passed, it became something Bruce would lie awake thinking about. Should he ask again? Would Dick be mad if he did?
And then Dick leaves.
That cements it in Bruce's heart. He isn't Dick's father, and his relationship with Dick is dependent on they being Batman and Robin.
Because he was not a good enough Batman, he lost Robin, and with Robin, Dick too is gone.
Next, Jason. Bruce has a new son, one that is legally his. This time I will do everything right, he swore. Then Jason is gone.
When Jason returns, he refuses to return to Bruce because he was such a failure as Batman.
Tim came to Bruce because of Batman. Tim wants Batman and never Bruce.
Even when Tim's parents are being awful. Even when Tim needs a parent, Bruce will never be a choice Tim considers. That much was clear.
Tim admired Batman but never wanted anything to do with Bruce.
Cassandra is his daughter. She even seems to like being his daughter. But with how low the bar for her father's position is, he can't help thinking about how she would want to leave him too when she knows better.
At least there is no way she can find a better Batman, even if she finds a better father.
Damian is his biological son. Damian is proud of that fact. He feels like he should be more secure in his position as Damian's father, but he just can't. Dick is a better father to Damian than he is. He can see it. Everyone can see it. Day after day, he feels like he's losing Damain's respect little by little, each time he can't understand him or be at ease with him like Dick. To make it worse, Damian's Batman is Dick before Bruce. Damian sees Batman as something great, and Bruce is Batman, but he is still not Damian's Batman.
He doesn't know what he would do if one day Damian looked at his version of Batman and found it lacking.
Batman needed to be perfect or he would lose his family.
(If he ever told his children about this, they would scream for hours about how false it was. For years, they have seen Bruce as their father. For years, they desperately wanted Bruce to be a father before Batman. But Bruce doesn't know.)
"came back wrong" this "lived wrong" that, what about dying wrong. my death will forever cling to you, leaving behind a slimy trail and a metallic taste in your mouth. my soul will forever drag you down like the heavy corpse of a long-dead god, who somehow still grants wishes. you can't tell which one of us is the one not letting go. you know not even your own death will end this.

Bruce got Zatanna to enchant more than just the cape. She enchanted three pockets of the utility belt too. All three are infinite, one keeps things cold, one just keeps things dry, the other keeps things warm.
He keeps juice boxes, apple slices, string cheese, and sandwiches in the cold pouch, trail mix, granola bars, protein bars, fruit snacks, chips, cookies, and canned goods in the regular pouch, and when he's about to serve one of the cans, he puts it in the warm pouch for a little while first so it's a lot more pleasant to eat. He also keeps blankets and clothes in the warm pouch which is great for missions in cold places.
He tries to keep enough food and water on him at all times for himself, all of his kids, and at least 3 other people for two or three days. It's good for mid patrol snacks, but more importantly, if they get stranded they have a supply of food ready to eat so they can focus on shelter and rescue instead of hunting and gathering. The longer he can avoid having to harm an animal in front of Damian the better. If they need the protein, he will, but... Best to avoid that situation altogether is his point.
He doesn't let anything go to waste either, he regularly hands the food out to the street kids around the city before anything can spoil (along with the warmed blankets and some clean clothes). Occasionally he leaves a few sandwiches, clean water and some cookies for Croc and Grundy and gives a juice box and some fruit snacks to Harley if she's having a bad night, the sugar eases her temper a bit. If Eddie's a little put out by how quickly a riddle was solved, he gets some apple slices, they seem to cheer him up.
Early catwoman
Jason rlly has the best origin ever like. Eleven years old. Manages to steal three whole Batmobile wheels. Hes like you know what Iβm going back for the fourth. Gets caught by batman and instead of being like AHH BATMAN heβs like fuck you bat-stard (knocks the wind out of Batman with a tire iron) (books it while yelling TRY AND CATCH ME DUMMY π ) and all that makes batman LAUGH in the anniversary of his parents DEATH in the SAME EXACT PLACE they died. Like. Iconic. Truly not only a funny as fuck origin but also manages to tell you in like one scene everything you need to know about Jason and what his dynamic with Bruce used to/should be
