The civil war lasted over 13 years and according to some estimates over 2000 Cubans died. The rest came back mutilated, traumatized and some sick. Today, these veterans are mostly abandoned. | Años después ocurriría la Operación Carlota, donde desplegaron 82 miembros del Minint vestidos de civil para Angola.
