Maintaining is better than gaining.
MAINTAINING IS BETTER THAN GAINING
(Tw) I make a fist with my hand and only eat portions that are the same size. (This is mostly for anything that’s not low cal veg - I won’t apply this to lettuce for example)
If you are really craving something - cook it! Don’t buy it - like a cupcake or chicken wings. Normally by the time I’m done cooking I don’t want it and give it to my family❤️ And if I do eat a bit- I burned cal making it✨
Building off of 2 I let myself snack when I bake sweets - those few licks are barely any calories and when I do I don’t tend to want the final product anymore (which can be a huge amount of cal) 😂
Building off of 2 and 3 (😅) If I crave something for a particular reason e.g wings bcs of fat. I will literally just eat half a teaspoon of that weird thing - I mean who will actually want wings when their throat is coated in gross butter fat 😅🤢
If you’re always bingeing - you’re not bored - you’re lacking protein. Low cal and easy fix✨(Egg, Tofu, lentils) base Your calories around your protein - veg is very low cal and easy throw in for bulk.
On bingeing again; if you do all your bingeing in the night (and you’re like me 😅) actively wake up super early. Rise with (or before) the sun🌸 Then be super active throughout the day. No more caffeine after 12 (takes 8 hours to leave your system) and you should crash at bed time - no energy to binge✨ Repetition will make it easier I promise! 🌸❤️
building off of 6; if it’s tiredness that makes you binge honestly for me those nights have a designated low cal meal - for me it’s jam toast and warm milk - it’s not super low in cal but it hits every mark I need to stop eating and relax for bed. Plus I know what calories it contains and don’t have to worry or feel guilty as I eat it.☺️🌸
(also building off of 7 if I’m going through an obvious spell of those late night meals I just add it to my daily cal and assume I’m going to eat it - that way I can adjust my day meals and if I don’t eat it is a fun surprise☺️)
stretching - the only way to make lean, soft looking limbs🌸🍂
don’t be in your house. Literally! If you can do the thing you are doing elsewhere - do it! Don’t bring money for food (or, depending on how far from home you plan to be, have a small amount allocated only to emergencies (like if you have a sugar crash and forgot a small sweet thing)) - But mainly; just a bus card for emergencies and your phone. Or designate calories for a drink in a cafe and just stay there. Being away from where it’s easy to eat (and being WAY to anxious to eat in public) was a great way for me to start to stop✨
THIS ONE’S THE REAL MAGIC FOR ME; Make up weird rules for yourself✨ I am currently bingeing glee - every time a song comes up I have to do jumping jacks, exercise or bust a move😎😂. It genuinely makes the show more fun and makes my show bingeing sessions more productive, OH AND it’s done magic for my joint and back pain☺️✨🪴.
Sorry this was huge and all over the place😅 but I hope it helped you✨ - stay safe and keep warm❤️🌸🎃🍂
