@ilyailyin4ever checking out some sequences of himself. I spent several hours with him yesterday and found out the following: he’s getting a PhD in weightlifting, there is an Ilya Ilyin school opening in Kyzylorda (his hometown) next year, he thinks that USA weightlifting is on a very good track as far as young lifter development, he programs one year at a time and his system came from Enver Turkeleri (Turkish coach who works for Kazakhstan), he doesn’t get free Romaleos from Nike (!!) and he definitely wants to compete through 2020 if possible.
