I Hate Driving. Here Are The Laws! If You Break Them There Will Be Consequences! Except Youre Also Expected

reblog literally but whatever I swear people get in their little mechs and think they’re invincible my friend you are just as fragile as I am. MOVE BACK people in my area clearly do not value the lives of those around them I go at most five over the speed limit because during my driving test that was the cap and if you went faster than that you’d fail (less in some areas. construction and housing I go the exact limit) and I still have people riding my ass like their car is hitched to mine I had to start thinking of cars as an animal species with its own body language so I wouldn’t panic over making other people mad because it’s inevitable!!! i think it’s so routine for a lot of people that they forget that they’re piloting a massive machine that has an immense capacity for harm and it sucks because I do like driving!! it’s fun to take people places even if it’s not far I like feeling like I’m helping people in some way but it gets annoying when people don’t care about the rules or safety I wish there were actual consequences but it’s not like I want people arrested or anything I wish people would follow the rules. I think partially because I can’t fathom breaking them myself. they’re there for everyone’s safety it bothers me that I seem more patient and rational as a teenager than the actual adults on the roadways (patient and rational with driving.
