Super-Murder Wizard 6.
Terho Korpua 2023
Okay time to post some of the stuff I made for entrance exams. First off this crap. It was for graphic design. Didn’t go tho so here’s the stuff, this first one had a mandatory cringe ass title you had to have there. I pursued an uncharacteristic amount of minimalism here for their sake.
Then the follow up piece.
Then there was one we had to make about the Tampere tram and I wasn’t much of a fan of that whole thing so I’m not posting it here. Then there’s my personal favorite, the comic about cave paintings.
I got into my 1st option so ultimately I’ll probably never know if I could’ve gotten into graphic design (probably not), but I had a bit of fun making some of this, at least the moose comic.
I finished my first work made in Helsinki, but I don’t have a scanner at home so it might take a while before I can post it, I already got a name for it, but since I stopped translating the names of my works into english it would just be weird on a post I also put on my sideblog.
I moved to South-Finland so my workflow has been a bit stunted again, I’ve been mostly sketching and working on making Suomaa into something else except the ugly piece of unreadable trash it is and I also started another more artsy and less up it’s own ass in terms of comic tradition project. New stuff will be out as soon as I find a way to scan it in Helsinki for free.
A scan of Viinit katolla - 2018. I had to scan this for a college entrance portfolio. (sold)
‘‘Unia hämäristä jäbistä’‘ A thematic art series on dreams I made in August and September, which I couldn’t scan due to them being on display.
1. ‘’Alitajuisen harmaat pussikalijat’’
2. ‘’Epämääräinen hiippailu tribuutti’’
There’s also a booklet which is technically the 3rd piece, opening up the themes and ideas with minimal explanation, but due to it’s handmade nature (I cut it up from cardboard and tied it together with steel wire), I couldn’t scan that.
