on a serious note - i think it's funny to portray women not wearing make-up as silly and childish when you're the one apparently caring so much about what other people are doing to their faces.

ask yourself: why do you find bare faces not appropriate for formal events? why does it bother you to see a woman without makeup? how does it effect you? why do you think it effects you?

you're so insistent that there are no societal pressures at play, that women are doing this exclusively for themselves and for the joy of it - then where does this urge to force it on women who don't find joy in it come from? why does it annoy you to see women in their natural way of being? it's a choice, but also there's a right choice, apparently, and anyone stepping out of line shoud be promptly shamed into submission. right?

"a little (whatever) never hurt anybody" okay and neither does a bare face. grow up.

winter scented candles : winter scented candles are a MUST for a hot girl winter. scents like peppermint, vanilla and cinnamon rly capture the essence of the winter season and they make my space smell so nice

winter fashion : winter fashion is probably one of my favorite types of fashion. i just love how when winter comes, excessive accessorizing is embraced bcuz its just so CUTE. wearing boots, earmuffs, leg warmers and arm warmers. theres ENDLESS inspo on pinterest for winter fashion so dress for the season <3

things that shimmer : during the winter, its crucial that we are taking good care of our skin during these dryer months. make sure to buy a moisturizer that soaks into ur skin well. doing so will make ur skin shine. for more shimmer, use sparkly lipglosses experiment with glitter in ur makeup.

sweet treats : chocolates, marshmallows, gingerbread, peppermint teas, candies, hot coco, candy canes etc etc. the winter season is one of my favorites bcuz of all the sweet treats u can indulge in, so let urself indulge 💗

a big fluffy blanket to curl up in

a good winter playlist (if u rly wanna get into the feeling of a magical winter, listen to the instrumentals for ballets like the nutcracker, or the instrumentals of old disney movies like beauty and the beast)

walk around with hand lotion and lipgloss if u dont already, this time of year its crucial, dry lips and skin isn't cute
