Imagine your OTP healing each other after a big fight with the enemy knowing damn well that they don’t get along.

But there they are, only hearing each other’s deep breaths and the sound of a towel with rubbing alcohol stroking their wounds.

the way Ulrich’s fingers reach out for Yumi’s as she’s being devirtualized and slipping through his grasp like he doesn’t want her to go. and Yumi’s fingers seem to be reaching for him too, trying to maintain contact with him as long as possible before she disappears completely. then once she’s gone his hand curls into a fist like even the temporary loss of her upsets him. such tiny details that say so much
