BRINGING BACK THE DAY OF LANGUAGES!!!
This year's 7th of May 2023 we use our own language again!
A few basic rules (this is very much copied from the original UYLD creators):
If your language is something other than English, on May 7th you can speak that language all day!
Speak whatever language feels good for you! Any and all!!
You’ll blog in your language all day: text posts, replies, tags (except triggers and organizational tags), the whole nine yards. Regardless of what language people choose to speak to you, you answer in your own.
Midnight to midnight according to your own time zone
English native speakers, if you wanna participate you can practice a second language you’re learning
The tag is gonna be #Speak Your Language Day or #spyld
Non-verbal, non-written languages (like ASl, dialects, otherwise non-written languages) are more than welcome!
Tag me in any and all non english posts! Or submit to your liking!
reblog this and put in the tags at least two (2) songs you are listening to on repeat right now
Yeah, I love singing and I perform whenever my theatre company does a fusion show (a cabaret show with music, improv, poetry, and acting) I always sing and play piano for it, but don't act.
Even though I do that, I still love doing my job as stage crew, and whenever I'm actually performing onstage, I remember to be nice and respect my fellow techies. (please for the love of everything put you dang costumes away thank you)
and don't forget:
"Oh, we can figure it out next week." *Doesn't give time to work on it next week*
*Laughs when someone is stressed* "I'm not laughing."
"Why are you all so tired?" *It's literally 8oclock*
*I slightly raise my voice* "Don't yell at me."
*Doesn't tell me the set for a scene* "You should know the set!"
things my director has said and done that makes me hate them so much:
"Oh, we don't need to worry about lights and sound until tech rehearsals, you don't need to write anything down." *a little later* "Why didn't you write anything down?"
"This show will be much less stressful." *adds projections*
*casts new company members as actors instead of letting me ask them about backstage work*
"You have no reason to be stressed out."
i speak French and English fluently, and rn I'm learning 2 other languages but here's the issue... 1 of them is a dead language and one of them I've just barely learned the alphabet.
feel free to elaborate in the tags, i'm really curious! also please reblog for larger sample size
You’ve accidentally summoned the Devil while cooking dinner, and he’s intrigued by your culinary skills. He challenges you to a high-stakes cook-off, with your soul on the line. If you win, you get a lifetime of unparalleled culinary prowess and the ability to impress anyone with your dishes. But if you lose, your soul is his. As you accept the challenge, you realize you’ll need to prepare the most extraordinary meal of your life.
well you can use the top link OR you can use my link because the colours are more specific.
Use this generator!
please reblog so we can get a bigger sample size!
i love this idea of tumblr irl just being like a huge market or city filled with people with little jars for hearts and reblog cards. makes me think of buskers and farmer's markets.
This Tumblr account is for random reblogs, theatre stuff, and my All For The Game hyperfixation. (and other silly queer things) Enjoy!
