I'm healing my religious trauma one devil horned piccrew at a time
Had to sit through a talk on blood this week. Love how they insist it's a religous descion, yet barely read any scriptures because the evidence is so weak. Instead we got 25 minutes of anecdotal evidence and irrelevant and/or misleading quotes from "scientific articles".
Blood is sacred until Jehovah decides to spill to prove just how much power he has. He’d kill us all if it’d make him look better
tbh i fully believe that healthy kids should be getting in some stupid trouble.
like, a child that’s in trouble all the time, frequently skipping school, getting caught doing crimes? that’s a kid that desperately needs literally any positive attention. that kid needs help. obviously.
but a child that is perfectly well-behaved, never speaks up for themself, is seen and not heard? that’s a child that’s afraid. they also need help.

I'm at a full time internship and I've come to the conclusion I'm not career driven. As a witness who decided to go to a four year university I'm seen as nearly career obsessed because I've simply dedicated time to get a job. Its frankly sacrilegious that I'm working full time as a young adult. When I talk about what I study at all they are uncomfortable and push the conversation to how "Jehovah can use my talents". While people typically won't call me out they are always "concerned". They'll start treating me like a pet project they can 'fix'. This has led to my perception that I must love work, when really, I just dont want to hate my job like most witnesses.
A Genie offers you one wish, and you modestly wish to have a very productive 2017. The genie misunderstands, and for the rest of your life, every 20:17 you become impossibly productive for just 60 seconds.
Yo, I saw The Mitchell's vs the Machines and it was so good. Even tho I love when a character's sexuality is shown more openly, the way it was slipped in means none of my family noticed. Yay, no homophobic comments for me lol
