“On a bus filled with veterans, their families and actors heading to the series’s Normandy premiere last summer, someone shouted, “Hey, Doc.” Shane Taylor glanced up, and that was all Maxine Tircuit needed to figure out that Taylor was the actor playing her father, medic Eugene Roe. “He grabbed me and held me and we both cried,” she says”

See now why would you ruin my Saturday like this
thinking about baberoe and catholic guilt. About gene's terror clawing up his throat every time they touch because he's ruining babe, babe who goes to mass every day he can and never takes off his scapular medal but doesn't seem to fear being in gene's arms, even though gene knows, he knows better-
knows god doesn't give such good things to men like him
but he can't bring himself to give this up.
girl fix your posture what the hell are you doing
Ya’ll this is such 18-19 year old behavior as someone currently that age. The slightly messy handwriting, including the giant ass G’s. “SAME” and “home” instead of just writing it again lmao. I love it, it humanizes him so much.

Crazy to think that Doc was only 19!
Every time I watch crossroads and I see Jimmy Fallon it’s a jump scare
This is not a sports account. However, as someone who loves the game, I want to take a moment to talk about Johnny and Matty Gaudreau today. Absolute icons. “Johnny Hockey” has been a name that has been recognizable in sport since 2014. He was a gentleman and a fast fucking skater. His brother Matty was smart and talented. The fact that they’ve been taken away from their families by a drunk driver is heartbreaking and inexcusable. Spare a thought and a prayer for them today.
One of my favorite facts is that Easy Company’s wedding gift to Eugene and Vera was some cutlery from Berchtesgaden. I like to think Ron stole them.
