mizu saying a broken sword fits taigen makes me feel insane- like. she did that sword. she caused that sword to be broken because she was 'impure'. that sword got stolen by a liar. later, that liar found her and hurt her with it. and then she earned the sword. but she still doesn't love it. to her, it's a solid proof of her impurity, her flaw.
then, she gave it to taigen. taigen helped her to escape, saved both of their lives with it. taigen, who once pointed out her impurity and harmed her because of it, used the same impurity to protect her.
and she admitted it. she said, "the broken sword fits your hand." maybe she thought, one day taigen will kill someone in order to protect himself with this sword, and it'll be me who saved him, my flaw saved him. taigen will know that too :)
cant wait for when i become a real person
i had a dream where i grab people on their naked shoulders, leaving bloody crescent marks, shaking them whilst i shake myself and ask are we going mad yet? how could so many people live and not go crazy? why are we so chill about the concept of death and living and being bloody fleshy machines that interact with each other???????????? how can we not go crazy. i have so much hours to live and i couldn't figure out how i didn't go crazy and how i won't
The Fountainhead 1949 director: King Vidor
“I had thought of suicide when I was much younger, as, possibly, we all have, but then it would have been for revenge, it would have been my way of informing the world how awfully it had made me suffer. But the silence of the evening, as I wandered home, had nothing to do with that storm, that far-off boy. I simply wondered about the dead because their days had ended and I did not know how I would get through mine.”
