Y/n is a 17 year old girl who, like Reid, graduated early and is now doing an internship with the FBI. Having worked with the young girl since she begun and become impressed with the way she works, the BAU crew took a liking to her and took her under their wing. But no matter how close you become to someone, you never know what they can be hiding, and maybe figuring out the signs can happen too late.

Musa and Aisha walked through the canteen to there next class when they seen Dowling and Harvey rushing past followed by Silva with a young girl in his arms. Watching them they recognized it as y/n.
"Is that............" "Y/n yeah." Aisha nodded, interrupting Musa.
The two girls looked at each other before rushing in the direction the teachers left, bumping into Terra on the way.
"What's going on?" Terra asked in confusion. "Y/n's collapsed or something. Headmistress Dowling, Professor Harvey and Headmaster Silva went by carrying her." Aisha said in a hurry before Terra followed them, texting Bloom.
----------------------
"Place her on the bed." Harvey told Silva before leaving to his office. "How long does the dosage last?" Dowling asked, looking at Harvey who was working away in his office. "Half hour, maybe more, no more than an hour." Harvey spoke before the door opened in a hurry.
The teachers turned to see Aisha, Bloom, Musa and Terra looking in concern. The four girls stopped as they seen y/n lying on a bed close by.
"What happened?" Terra asked. "Stress." Dowling replied curtly. "Will she be okay?" Aisha asked. "Yes she will be fine, why don't you girls go get lunch and you can see her when she wakes up." Silva nodded at the girls.
The four girls nodded before leaving the greenhouse once again. Dowling sighed and turned to Silva with a look of concern.
"I'm surprised Sky and Riven aren't here yet." she stated. "There in training, probably haven't heard yet. I can almost bet that they will be here at some stage if she doesn't wake up before hand." Silva stated. "Do they know about her parents?" "No, I don't think so. She told me not to tell Sky and I doubt that she has told them." Silva shook his head. "She's a strong girl, but she could do with the support of those close to her. Especially with the frozen ones." Dowling stated causing Silva to nod before Harvey came back in.
"I'm going to give her an antidote to help with her control of magic. Once she has achieved it we will slowly decrease that strength before she is on her own. However, as magic is linked to emotion I am not certain that it will work for her." Harvey explained, showing Dowling and Silva ten vials in a box. "So she still needs to be able to control her emotions." Dowling asked. "In a way. This antidote can slightly decrease her feelings, though she will not be emotionless." "When do you start administering them to her." Silva asked. "Once she wakes up." Harvey stated before the door opened with a bang.
----------------------------------------------
Bloom walked out of the cafeteria and started walking through the gardens. Hearing her name, she stopped and looked back to see Sky coming towards her.
"You know you don't have to go along with everything Stella wants. There are other options. Don't do it just cause she's got a strong personality." Sky stated, walking with Bloom. "I lost the ring. I'm going to help her get it back. It's the right thing to do, end of story." Bloom stated, shrugging her shoulder slightly. "Two strong personalities. Got it." "Clearly you have a type." Bloom joked before looking ahead. "Hey, umm, how's y/n." Bloom asked causing Sky to look at her in confusion. "She's fine, why?" Sky replied causing Bloom to stop and turn in front of him. "Wait, you don't know?" "Know what?" "Musa and Aisha seen Headmaster Silva carrying her to the greenhouse. They say she collapsed due to stress." Bloom explained causing Skys eyes to widen. "I've to go." Sky stated before rushing off.
---------------------------
Sky ran through the halls, ignoring the students he bumped into along the way. Reaching his room, he burst through the door to see Riven and Beatrix lying on the bed. They both looked up as he burst through.
"Someone's in a rush." Beatrix commented. "Keep the door on it's hinges please, don't want Silva to blame me for something else I didn't do." Riven stated. "Y/n's in the greenhouse. Silva brought her there, Bloom says she collapsed due to stress, I don't know but she's not awake yet." Sky said in one breath causing Riven to push away from the head board he was leaning against. "Shit." Riven cursed under his breath as Beatrix got off the bed. "I heard she lost control in her class, almost frosted Headmistress Dowling. People say she ran out of the class after, nobody seen where she went, my guess is the forest." Beatrix stated before kissing Riven and leaving.
"I don't need to tell you why that is such a bad idea." Sky commented, pointing Beatrix's direction. "YOur seriously going to comment on that when y/n is in the greenhouse after collapsing from stress." Riven stated before leaving the room.
Both boys didn't speak as they pushed past students to get to the greenhouse. Both were worried about their closest friend and where very confused onto why she lost control and passed out.
Reaching the greenhouse Riven pushed the door open with a bang, startling the teachers standing around the bed where y/n lay. Sky rushed in after him and skidded, nearly falling over.
"Y/n! Is she okay?" Riven asked, pushing through Dowling and Silva, not caring that he had forced them back. "What happened?" Sky asked, looking mainly at Harvey as he walked towards the group. "She passed out due to stress." Harvey explained, half lying. "SO she didn't lose control in class." Riven snapped, caressing y/ns cheek softly. "Due to stress yes. But she is okay." Dowling lied, looking at the two boys.
Sky looked at Silva who nodded before he moved beside y/n, opposite Riven, taking a hold of her hand. He rubbed her hand with his thumb as he watched y/n breathing softly.
Riven looked at Sky briefly as a phone was heard throughout the green house. Sky looked down and got his phone before sighing, seeing who it was.
"Stella I'm kinda busy right now." He started before being interrupted, "Yeah I get that but y/n needs me right now." He sighed after a long pause." Is it really important?" "Okay, I'm on my way."
Sky hung up and let go of y/n's hand before stepping back while rubbing his head. Riven looked down as his phone went off from a text. Reading it, he also stepped back and moved to the door.
"Beatrix needs me/ Stella needs me." They spoke in unison, looking at each other before leaving, unaware of their friend hearing and seeing them leave with tears in her eyes.
Info: During Casey and Voight's falling out Voight goes for the one person Casey cares about the most, his 16 year old sister y/n.
Y/n Casey was the sister of Matthew Casey and had been living with him for most of her life. She was only one when her mother went to prison and Casey, although he had just started his firefighting career, took it upon himself to look after his baby sister. Their sister Christie had barely been in her life due to the falling out of the older siblings, despite Casey trying to get Christie to be in their sisters life.
Upon being raised by her older brother, y/n was relatively close to firehouse 51. Kelly and Darden had been like her older brothers until the death of Darden. Since then, Kelly had tried to keep the relationship y/n and himself had but due to Kelly and Casey blaming each other for the death of their falling friend, Casey wasn't that fond of y/n being around Kelly and y/n didn't want to make Casey any more angry at Kelly then he already was so chose to spend as little time with Kelly as possible.
Having no parental figures in her life, Y/n looked up to Hermann, mouch and Boden as if they were her fathers. If Casey needed someone to watch out or y/n, he would often call upon one of the three to look out for her. In turn, if Hermann and Cindy wanted to go for a night out, y/n would often watch over the kids for them.
Shay and Dawson were like sisters to her. If she needed girly advice they would be the ones she would turn to. Due to living with Casey, it also meant that she got along with Hallie. No matter what the firehouse 51 had her back, and there was always someone who was there for her.
-------------------------------------------
"Y/n." Severide smiled from the squad table as y/n and Casey walked in. Y/n looked at Casey to see him glaring at Kelly before walking to his office. "Hi Kelly." Y/n waved before heading in the same direction of Casey.
Kelly looked around as he moved his chair back before getting up and following y/n away from the others.
"Hey, y/n, wait up." Kelly called out once they were out of side. Y/n sighed and stopped as she looked ahead at her brother as he went through some papers. "Look Kelly I don't think............" "You don't have to ignore me because of what's going on with me and Casey." Kelly stated as he stopped in front of her. "I'm not." She stated abruptly. "Are you sure, cause it sure seems like it." Kelly stated sarcastically, causing y/n to look down. "I just don't want things to be awkward, or to make anyone uncomfortable." "They won't if you don't let it." Y/n stared ahead in silence. "Just, come have lunch at squad table later yeah." He asked, hopeful.
Y/n went to respond only to be interrupted by the sound of the alarm going off.
"Truck 81, Squad 3, ambulance 61, house fire at west avenue." The dispatch called out.
Y/n stood still as the fire crew started rushing past her, ignoring as Kelly squeezed her shoulder before heading over to squad. Seeing a boy wearing a t-shirt which read 'candidate' she froze. She snapped out of it as Casey rushed passed her, turning back to give her a wink of assurance, to which she nodded and gave a weak smile. She watched as the ambulance and fire truck left the fire house, sirens blaring as they rushed down the street.
---------------------------------
Casey glanced back at the firehouse as his sister glanced down in the direction they left before sitting back in his chair. A piece of paper at the corner of the trucks window caught his eye, causing him to smile, remembering when 5 year old y/n ran proudly into the fire station after play school, showing off the drawings she made for each firehouse 51 vehicle. Hermann watched as Casey picked up the worn picture with a smile.
"How's y/n Casey?" Hermann asked, causing Casey to glance back at him as he pulled away from his thoughts. "Who's y/n?" Peter asked in confusion. "She's my little sister." Casey stated, placing the picture back at the corner. "The light of firehouse 51." Cruz joked causing everyone to laugh in agreement. "She's doing well Hermann, she hasn't had many nightmares in a while, and the ones she does have aren't as bad as they had been, which is good." Casey explained, speaking of the nightmares that his sister had since Darden's death. "That's great to hear Casey, really great." Hermann smiled with a nod of his head. "Alright guys, let's roll." Casey announced as they reached the house, getting ready to fight another blaze.
-------------------------------
Y/n sat at Casey's desk, pen in her mouth as she typed away on her laptop, studying for final exams of the school year. Rubbing her eyes, she threw her arms over her head to stretch them when a picture catches her eye, a picture of her, Casey, Kelly and Darden after the three boys had graduated. Y/n, who was 3 back then, was perched on Darden's waist as they all smiled. Smiling sadly, y/n stood up from her seat and ran a finger over the picture.
Standing in silence for a few minutes, y/n snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the sound of vehicles pulling into the firehouse. Throwing the pen that had been in her mouth onto the desk, she rushed out of her brothers office, towards the direction of the trucks.
Casey barely had time to step down from the truck before his siter jumped onto him. Stumbling back, Casey wraps his arms around his sister to prevent her from falling. He watched as the guys walked by them, smiling softly at the two siblings before heading into the cafeteria area, Mouch messing with y/ns hair gently as he passed. Keeping an arm around Y/n, Casey placed her back on her own two feet before closing the truck door, keeping an arm around his sisters waist. He placed a kiss on y/ns head gently as Kelly walked by, glancing their way.
"I'm ok." He stated after a few minutes holding onto y/n, rubbing her back gently. Y/n sighed and pulled away from her brother slowly, nodding as he tucks a piece of hair behind her ears. He keeps both his hands on her face as he bends slightly to retain eye contact with her. "I'm okay." He stated again, smiling at her causing y/n to smile.
Stepping back from each other, the siblings made their way to Casey's office, Casey's arm draped over y/ns shoulder. Y/n leaned into her brother as he glanced at her school work that lay on his desk, checking on what she was doing.
"What were you working on?" He asked, picking up some sheets that lay on the laptops keyboard. "English project." Y/n stated. "What's it about?" "Shakespeare's work." Y/n stated, giggling slightly as Casey threw the piece of paper down with a look of displeasure. "It's not that bad." "I beg to differ." Casey stated, moving away from y/n as she saved the work that she had on her laptop. "Come on let's get some lunch."
The duo headed into the canteen where the rest of firehouse 51 were grabbing their lunch. Y/n glanced towards the squad table where Kelly sat, and he smiled softly at her as she waved shyly before accepting the plate of lasagna Casey gave her. She sat at the corner of the aisle after grabbing some water, listening to the fire crew as they talked about the fire. She stopped eating when she seen Kelly standing up, walking towards the exit. He turned and nodded at her to follow him causing y/n to look at Casey before following him.
-----------------------------------
Y/n crosses her arms over her body as she walks out of the firehouse, standing close to were Kelly was. He glanced her way as the two stood in silence.
"Look I know that Casey and I aren't on the best of terms right now, but I would really like it if we kept the relationship that we had." Kelly stated after a few minutes of them just standing quietly, turning to face her. Y/n didn't sat anything for a minute, instead turning to look in the direction of the firehouse. I just dont want it to be awkward. You and Casey aren't exactly talking and I feel like I'd be insulting him if I talked to you." Y/n stated, glancing at Kelly who watched her carefully. "It won't be if you don't let it." Kelly assured her, placing a hand on her shoulder, "I just want my little buddy back." He stated, trying to get her to at least smile, smiling himself when he seen a faint smile appear on her face as she tucked her chin into her chest. "I missed you." He said, bending slightly to look into her eyes, causing her to smile up at him. "I guess I missed you too." Y/n smiled causing Kelly to smile as he stood up straight again.
Kelly moved closer and pulled y/n into a hug. Y/n sighed as she accepted the hug, wrapping her arms around his torso. She shivered with the cold, causing Kelly to pull back from her.
"You cold? Come on, we better head back in so you don't get sick." Kelly stated, moving towards the firehouse. "Actually, I think I'm going to stay out here for a bit." Y/n stated, looking over her shoulder at Kelly. "Here, have my jacket then, and don't stay out for too long." He warned her, taking off his jacket and helping her put it on. "Thanks." She smiled, allowing the cuffs of the jacket to fall over her hands, flapping them gently as she watched Kelly leave.
"Y/n Casey." A voice called out, causing y/n to turn around to see a man with grey hair looking at her as he leaned on a black car. "How do you know my name?" She asked, looking back at the firehouse with weariness. "The names Voight, Detective Voight." The man responded, moving away from his car as he spoke to her. "Can I help you with something?" She asked, stepping back as Voight moved closer to her. "Just a chat is all." Voight responded with a slight smile as he stopped in front of y/n.
----------------------
Boden walked out of the bathrooms, heading towards the canteen when he seen Y/n standing outside. Moving closer to the exit, his face hardened as he seen Voight talking to the young girl. Shaking his head he made his way into the canteen, walking over to Casey.
"Casey." He stated with a strong voice, causing Casey to look up at the chief in confusion. "Voight's at y/n."
Casey's eyes widened before jumping out of his seat, rushing towards the entrance with Boden close behind. Seeing Voight talking to his sister caused him anger as he walked towards the two, Boden staying at the exit to watch.
"Voight stay the hell away from her." Casey shouted, pointing at Voight as y/n glanced in her brothers direction in confusion. "Just a talk is all." Voight stated, opening his arms outwards. "Leave her alone Voight." Casey stated as he stopped beside y/n, pushing her back gently. Y/n looked back a the firehouse to see the rest of the department watching what was happening. "You know Casey, your sister here, she's quite smart." Voight stated, glancing at y/n who looked between the two men with confusion. "Don't you come near her again you hear me." Casey stated, moving closer to Voight who just smirked before leaving to his car, nodding at the firehouse as he opened his car door before leaving.
Casey wrapped an arm around y/n's shoulders as he watched Voight leave. Y/n watched the car turn the corner before facing her brother who placed his hands on her shoulders before looking her in the eye.
"You okay?" He asked, a look of concern on his face. "Yeah fine, he was just asking me if I had seen anything suspicious lately." Y/n responded, Casey nodding in relief at her answer. "He comes near you again, you let me know alright." Casey stated as he pushed a piece of hair behind her ear.
Y/n nods and Casey smiles, pulling her into a hug as he kissed her head. She smiled at him as they separated before Casey wrapped an arm around her shoulder, leading her to his office, ignoring the looks the rest of his co-workers gave them as they passed. The crew looked at Boden who just watched Casey bring his sister into his office before nodding, telling them all to just leave what happened in the firehouse.

Y/n stared at the ceiling above her as she lay on the bed. She rolled her eyes as she heard a knock on the door and turned her head to see Aisha standing in the doorway.
"I came to check on you. Your going to be late for class." Aisha stated, pointing behind her. "Hmm." Y/n agreed, not moving. "I really think you should get up now." Aisha tried again. "Oh just leave me alone Aisha. I didn't ask for your help." Y/n snapped suddenly causing Aisha to jump back slightly. "I'm sorry I just....." "Just get out. NOW!" Y/n all but screamed as she glared at the water fairy.
Y/n got up and locked the door once Aisha had closed it. She slid down it and just stared ahead of her, feeling numb.
Aisha closed the door in confusion. Y/n had never snapped at any of the girls in the winx dorm. She looked at Musa with wide eyes to see her looking at y/ns door in concentration.
"What's wrong?" Aisha asked as Bloom and Terra came over after hearing the commotion. "I dunno but for some reason y/n is feeling grieve and sadness?" Musa said in a questionable tone when Stella came out of her room. "Y/n's probably just being dramatic for no reason but for attention." Stella stated, walking to the kitchen without a care. "That doesn't sound like y/n." Terra stated cautisly. "Well you don't know her that well do you, she's a second year, your just a first year. She's just looking for attention." Stella stated before leaving the suite to find Sky before she met with her mom. "I'm going to go tell dad incase it has something to do with the antidote he had given her a while ago." Terra stated, causing the other girls to nod before leaving the dorm.
---------------------------------------
Y/n stared blankly ahead of her, feeling numb as she watched the photo in front of her with her parents from her position on the floor. Two months ago she had them by her side and now she had no one. Sky and Riven were with Beatrix and Stella and didnt have time for her so she couldn't go to them.
Y/ns breathing increased as tears began to fall down her cheeks. Her eyes were red and swollen from the continuous crying she had done. Balling her hands into fists, she slammed them onto the ground beside her. Ice formed around her on the ground but she didn't care, just stared at it with dull eyes.
She looked up as she heard a knock on the door. "Y/n, it's Headmistress Dowling and Headmaster Silva, can you open the door please." She heard Dowling say through the door as the door nob moved. "Y/n, we just want to see that your okay." Silva stated.
Y/n rolled her eyes but got up none the less. Unlocking the door, she opened it a jar before moving away and towards the window. She glanced towards them as Silva and Dowling came in, looking down at the ice before at her. She turned to look out the window as Dowling began to talk.
"You weren't attending your classes." Dowling stated. "I'm not in the mood for learning." Y/n mutterd, not moving her vision from the window. "Y/n........... look I know it's hard and I know you miss them but you can't keep being like this. It's not healthy." "I lost my parents, I think I'm aloud to feel the way I'm feeling." Y/n stated, glaring at Dowling slightly. "But you don't have to do it on your own. You should talk to someone, anyone. What about Sky or Riven?" "They don't care. No one does." "That's not true............" Silva stated. "Isn't it. I can't remember the last time I've had a proper conversation with them, how am I to tell them if all they do is blow me off for some girls. Every time I get the courage to tell them they get called away from little miss princess or some first year who does drugs and smokes like nobodies business. Even when I was in the informatory they ran off as soon as they called them. they wouldn't of known only Bloom told Sky. It's like Stella says, I'm nothing to them." Y/n looked Silva in the eyes at the end.
The two teachers looked at the broken girl in front of them as she just stared out the window with no emotion on her face. Dowling looked at Silva to see a look of disappointment and anger on his face.
"What bout the girls, I'm sure one of them could help you." Dowling stated, trying to get her talk again only for y/n to roll her eyes. "I don't need to talk to anyone so please leave me the HELL ALONE." Y/n screamed at them.
She shot her arm out towards them causing ice to come towards them. Y/n pushed it towards them causing Dowling and Silva to step backwards with wide eyes. It was only when they closed the door that y/n dropped her hand and made the ice disappear as she looked at the door in shock. Rushing towards it she turned the lock. Watching the door in shock she placed her hand over her mouth as she walked backwards, falling back as her legs hit the window seat. She placed her hands over face and broke down as she realized she could of killed her teachers. Ice spread over the window as she continued to cry.
---------------------------
Riven and Sky fought with sticks as they trained together. Silva walked towards them and stood watching for a second before shaking his head and walking onto the mat, gaining their attention.
"Have you seen y/n today?" He asked them. "No, why?" Sky replied as Riven grabbed their water bottles, handing one to Sky. Silva looked down with a mock laugh, shaking his head. "Why are you asking us if we've seen her." Riven asked, taking a swig from his bottle. "How can you be so blind." He stated, looking at the two boys with dissapointment. "I don't understand." Sky started only for Silva to interrupt him. "You two are so caught up with Stella and Beatrix that you can't see that your friend, who you guys have called family, is hurting inside." Silva stated, trying not to shout at them. "Y/n? What's wrong with her?" Riven asked. "I am very disappointed in you two. Y/n has been fighting a battle with herself thw whole time school has been on and you two have done nothing to show her that she could confide in you. She has needed you and neither of you have been there." Silva stated in a harsh voice, looking Sky in the eye with disappointment evident in his eyes. "Where is she?" Sky asked with concern. "In her room. She hasn't left it all day." Silva stated before the two boys ran off, throwing their sticks and bottles along the way.
The two ran through the halls, not caring about bumping into. Skidding into the door, Riven slammed it open before he and Sky rushed to y/ns door. Rivens eyes widened as he seen ice coming out from under the door. He elbowed Sky and pointed at it causing Sky to knock on the door abruptly.
"Y/n, are you in there?" Sky shouted through the door only to get no answer. "Y/n, we know your there, open up." Riven stated, banging on the door.
--------------------------------------
Y/n looked up in alarm as she heard Sky and Riven through the door. Looking down at her bloodied wrist she cursed herself and rushed towards her bedside table, grabbing the gauze she had taken from the bathroom and wrapping it around her wrists. She looked up as she heard the boys pleading at her to open the door. Once finished she through the shard of glass into the drawer and slammed it shut before going to the door.
As she opened the door she seen Sky and Riven looking stressed. Seeing y/ns numb facial expression their eyes turned to a look of concern and worry as they pushed her back gently and made their way into the room, ignoring when they nearly slipped on the ice.
"What the hell is going on?" Riven asked sharply in concern causing Sky to elbow him in the side. Y/n just looked towards a picture of her with her parents and Sky and Riven during the holidays with tears building in her eyes. "Y/n?" Sky asked softly, moving his head to catch her eyes, "Can you tell us what's going on?" "As if you care." She muttered but they heard her. "What, of course we care, why would you think we don't." Riven asked in confusion. "Your always with Beatrix and Sky's always with Stella, your never around anymore." "It;s not their fault you don't talk to us." "Every time I try to tell you something your always going to them. I have been trying to tell you since the beginning something important but you always at the girls beckon call!" Y/n stated, raising her voice. "Stella is having a hard time right now." Sky reasoned, raising his voice a little. "And Beatrix needs my help with something." Riven stated, trying not to shout. "I hae had the worst two months of my life, and you haven't been there for me. I feel so alone and scared and I have needed you, but you weren't there." Y/n stated with a raised voice, causing the boys features to soften. "Y/n, what's going on?" Sky asked causing her to burst into tears.
Y/n shook her head and made a run to exit the door. Riven grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug causing her to fight.
"Y/n, y/n stop, calm down." Riven stated, trying t calm her down. "Riven let me leave, please." Y/n begged, struggling to get out of his arms. "no, you need to calm down." He stated, looking at Sky who watched helplessly.
Y/n stopped fighting and Riven slowly eased his grip. Holding her arms he moved away a bit and looked her in the eyes. Y/n glanced down and seen the metal bracelet which was his third of the friendship bracelets the group had. Looking up at Riven she looked into his eyes. She grabbed his wrist and used her eyes to make the metal turn to ice. Riven gasped and let go of y/n in shock causing her to start running. Sky ran to stop her but she threw ice on the ground in front of him causing him to slip before she left the room and ran to the forest.
Info: Christmas for the Shelby clan were never special, but this year seems t be the worst as y/n, the youngest, has been diagnosed with the illness that takes many away.

All was quiet in the Shelby household, all were asleep bar Tommy who sat in his office working on some papers that were due. His thoughts were stalled as he hears movement around the halls upstairs and a door slamming against a wall before sounds of chocking, causing him to sigh and move to stand up, knowing who it was.
Y/n Shelby had been sick for the last five days, and it seemed to be getting progressively worse. For an eleven year old her energy had severely deteriorated and anything she ate always came back up, that was if she ate anything at all. She spent majority of her time in bed, sleeping most of the day.
Tommy sighs as he makes his way up the stairs to check on his sister. Arriving at the bathroom door he seen Polly sitting on her knees beside the young girl, holding her hair back and rubbing her back in comfort, muttering kind words as her youngest niece struggled to keep anything down. Hearing noise, Polly looked up to see Tommy standing in the doorway, who glanced at his oungest sibling before looking at Polly.
-------------------------------------------
“It’s been five days Pol, something ain’t right.” Tommy stated, not liking his sister being sick.
“I know that Thomas, hardly think this is normal.” Polly snapped at her nephew, worry get best of her.
“Pol.” Tommy warned, moving his head to y/n, saying not to stress her out.
“Tommy.” Y/n whined after she finished heaving, hearing her older brother and wanting his comfort.
“Hey there little angel, still not feeling great aye?” He asked, causing Polly to glare at him.
“I’m tired, and sore and icky. I don’t like it, I want it to end, I want to get better.” She whined as she coughed, bringing her hands up as an indication for Tommy to lift her.
“I can imagine that it isn’t pleasant, but you will get better. Why don’t you and aunt Pol go to the doctors today, he can give you something to make you feel better, how’s that for ya?” Tommy asked, picking up his sister despite Polly’s protests and grabbing a rag from the bathroom sink, wetting it and wiping her face gently with it.
“What’s the doctor going to do for her, she has the stomach bug that’s all. Nothing rest can’t fix.” Polly stated, not liking the idea of going to the doctor only to be told the girl needs rest.
“If it was a stomach bug I’m pretty sure it would’ve gone by now. Just bring her Polly, all they can say is that there isn’t anything wrong.” Tommy stated, allowing y/n to place her head on his shoulder, her eyes closing with tiredness once again.
“I swear Tommy she has you wrapped around her finger.” Polly stated wit ha shake of her head.
“Her health is important Polly, I thought you prioritized that.” Tommy stated before moving out of the bathroom and heading to put his sister down for bed once again, kissing her head before leaving.
"Lord, watch over y/n and I pray that she get's over this bug amen." Polly prayed before heading back to bed.
Next morning, y/n and Polly sat around the kitchen table, waiting for Tommy to return with the doctor. Y/n sat sluggish in her chair, appearing to be struggling to keep herself up right as she lay her head on her arms which were crossed on the table. In her hand was her Christmas teddy that she always had on her from the moment it hit December 1st, being the teddy that John had given her shortly after returning from the war.
Y/n loved Christmas, always had from the moment she understand what Christmas was about. She loved to decorate the house in the little amount of decorations the Shelby family had. The Shelby's were never really into doing Christmas, seeing it as another day, and if it wasn't for y/n they probably wouldn't even celebrate Christmas.
Polly looked away from her niece as the door was heard opening, and stands up when she sees Tommy walk in with the doctor behind him. Seeing her looking at him, Tommy nods at her before moving towards his sister, crouching beside her and placing a hand on her back to try wake her up a bit, only for her to whine, feeling discomfort from touch and moving away from her brother. Tommy frowning and looked at Polly, both knowing it was strange for the youngest Shelby to deny affection.
The doctor moves towards y/n who looks up in confusion, eyes beady due to tiredness. Seeing an unfamiliar face, she frowns and looks at Polly before moving hands, wanting to be picked up. Polly clicked her tongue in frustration, shaking her head in disapproval at her niece, causing y/n to whine again, not liking her aunt’s reluctance to pick her up
“Y/n the doctors here.” Polly stated, glancing at the doctor as he watched how the youngest Shelby reacted against her brothers contact.
“I’ll leave you too it.” Tommy stated ,clearing his throat and moving to his office, closing door tightly.
Y/n sighs before groaning in discomfort as she wiggled in her seat. The doctor took this as a sign that the young girl was ready and made his way over to her. Seeing y/n's eyes flutter with tiredness the man sighed kindly and began working quickly to prevent further discomfort for the girl. He checked her temperature, back of the throat, her walking abilities and a urine sample. At the end y/n was nearly falling asleep, causing the doctor to become concerned.
“Y/n, the doctor is here to look over you, will you be good for him and let him do his work.” Polly instructed to young girl, knowing this could go one of two ways.
“I want Tommy.” Y/n stated tiredly, her voice ruff after the severe coughing episode she had earlier.
“I’m sure Tommy will come back when it’s over, now come on, be a big girl now.” Polly stated with a bit of roughness, wanting this to be over with.
-----------------------------------
“Does she always appear tired.” He asked Polly, who stood in the corner of the kitchen out of the way.
“Most days, especially after any vomiting episodes.” Polly stated, sounding as if she knew what it was her niece had.
“And her temperature, she appears to have a fever, how long has that been going on.”
“Around five days, she always gains a fever when she’s sick.”
“And you say she’s been vomiting for nearly a week?”
“Like I said doctor it’s just the stomach bug, all children get it. They lose their appetite, have aches and pains, get sick, rise a fever, and then it runs its course. Tommy’s worrying for nothing.”
“Actually Mister Shelby has every right to be worried. Because young y/n here doesn’t have the stomach bug. A stomach bug wouldn’t last as long as it has, at least not as severe. With her fever, redness of the throat likely caused by her abrupt coughing episodes and vomiting as well as the aches and pains you say she’s been complaining about, young y/n is suffering from more than just the stomach bug, or any common illness for that matter.” The doctor stated, pointing out all the symptoms.
“Well, what is it then?”
"I'm afraid young y/n Shelby here, has the Spanish flu." The doctor stated causing Polly to look at him in horror.
Each of the Shelby siblings didn't know what to say, their baby sister had caught the illness that majority of people died from if caught. Arthur stared ahead, not knowing what to think, John looked down, regretting the joke he made and feeling fear for his baby sister, Ada tried to hold back tears while Finn allowed the tears to fall, not wanting his twin to go. Tommy stood frozen, refusing to look at anyone as he tried to process the news his aunt just said. Y/n was the Shelby's little angel, from the moment she was born she was their light, the thing that helped the brothers when they returned from war. Without her it would become darkness.
“Polly, what’s going on, why did you call a family meeting?” Ada asked, watching her aunt in confusion as the woman paced around the floor, worry clear on her face.
After the doctor had diagnosed the youngest Shelby- he had warned Polly of the likelihood of her getting worse instead of better- though poor Polly knew this as not many people were known to survive around the town if they caught the lethal disease, with the majority of them dying weeks after their diagnoses- with how y/n’s little body was reacting to the disease it was likely to take it’s toll on the youngest Shelby’s body quickly, meaning she likely wouldn’t make it to the end of the year- hence why she was sent to bed before her siblings were called to hear the news.
“Right Pol, what is it? What’s so important that you had to call us all here aye?” Tommy asked, barging through the front door and stalking towards the kitchen table.
“I need everyone to keep a clear head and remain quiet as I tell you this alright. Y/n’s in bed and needs her rest.” Polly stated, not wanting to wake y/n up.
“Bloody hell Pol your talking as if someone’s dead.” John stated, shaking his head slightly at the dramatics of the situation.
“Pol, what is it? What did the doctor say?” Tommy asked, seeing the seriousness in Polly’s face.
“Y/n’s sick, really sick.” Polly started, looking at each Shelby sibling before continuing, “And I don’t want any of you to start worrying alright, because it won’t make it any easier.”
“Pol, what’s wrong with our y/n?” Arthur asked, not liking the way Polly was talking.
“Y/n has the Spanish flu. The doctor said with her symptoms it’s likely she’s been infected for a while.” Polly stated, waiting to hear the reaction.
“But she seemed fine last week.” Finn stated, looking at his aunt in confusion.
“The doctor said it will get worse, and there is a chance.” Polly stopped, wanting to get control of her emotions before continuing, “There is a chance that she may not survive this. Her bodies not able to keep up with it.” Polly looked down as silence fell around them.
Polly sighs, knowing the Shelby stubbornness was strong when it came to little y/n. She also knew that this would break the family, regardless of the outcome. And all Polly could do was pray, and hope, that y/n would at least make it to Christmas, her favorite time of year.
“Is she asleep?” Tommy asked, moving towards the stairs.
“Yes, and I don’t want anyone going into her. Don’t need anyone else catching it.” Polly stated forcibly, moving towards Tommy as he scoffed.
“You expect us to not be there for our sister when she’s ill, you clearly don’t know us Polly.” Tommy stated harshly.
“we’re not leaving her Pol, she needs us. And if she doesn’t make it we need her too.” Finn stated, sniffling from the tears.
Info: Christmas for the Shelby clan were never special, but this year seems t be the worst as y/n, the youngest, has been diagnosed with the illness that takes many away.

Part 1
Part 2
Info: Tommy never believed his sister when she said she was threatened by his enemies, but when injuries happen, Tommy is quick to make sure y/n knows how much he cares.
Relationship: Tommy Shelby x sister
Part 1
The situation kept replaying in Tommy’s mind. Shooting the man, running to y/n, seeing his sister surrounded by her own blood and Michal leaning over her, begging her to stay with him as he held pressure to the wound, his arm bleeding from the shoulder. Tommy remembered shouting for someone to grab a doctor, and two men running out with a gurney, transferring his sister on it before rushing into the hospital. He remembered trying to get by them to be with his sister while nurses held him back, telling him to sit down and wait till the doctor came out.
Michal managed to get away with a few stitches, and a telling off from Polly about being so careless to try and take down two men when he was on his own. Y/n however, had fared out with serious injuries, and Tommy couldn’t help but blame himself. If he had of believed her than she probably wouldn’t be in this situation. She wouldn’t be lying in the hospital bed with Tommy holding her hand, her family coming in and out to see if there was any change. She was the one who took care of the patients who came an went, she wasn’t meant to be one. Instead, she lay on the bed while Tommy kept his head down, a grip on her hand, refusing to leave her side.
------------------------
“Any change.” Tommy looked up to see his aunt Pol standing at the door.
“No, nothing.” Tommy spoke, dropping his head to look at y/n.
“What did the doctor say?” She asked, moving into the room, and Tommy seen Michal following behind, winching as he jolted his arm as he sat down.
“They managed to get the bullet out but there was a ruptured vessel. They managed to stop it so it’s just a waiting game.” Tommy explained, rubbing y/n’s knuckles with his thumb.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t save her.” Michal spoke up, and Polly shook her head as she looked at her son.
“Don’t blame yourself pet, it wasn’t your fault.” She smiled before turning to Tommy, “It was your idiotic cousins’ fault.”
Tommy looked at Pol to see her piercing glare.
“Yeah, I get it, I messed up, is that what you want to fucking hear?” Tommy snapped, not liking his aunt at him when he knew he had messed up.
“Yeah Tommy, it is. You need to realize that if it wasn’t for you y/n probably wouldn’t be in this situation. This could have been prevented if you had just listened to her. But no, you had to be so high on your horse to believe her didn’t you.” Polly snapped at her nephew, and Michal looked away, not sure where to look. “Who was he anyway?”
“Doesn’t matter, he’s sorted. Won’t get near her again.” Tommy spoke, looking down at y/n and kissing her hand as he ran a finger down her face.
After an hour or so, Polly and Michal left with Polly promising she’d be around tomorrow, and warned Tommy to call if anything changed. Arthur and John had came by and said that they would be outside the door if Tommy needed them, stating that she needed all the protection she could get after the events of the evening, and Tommy agreed, saying that when y/n came through, he would be sure that a peaky blinder was around her 24/7, whether she liked it or not. He wasn’t going to let anything happen to her again. He realized just how much leverage his enemies would have over him if they got to y/n. She was his light, and Tommy knew that she was his everything.
That night Tommy refused to sleep. He spent the night sitting in the seat beside y/n’s bed, leaning back and staring into space. Grace had came by to try get him to come home, Charles had been wondering where his daddy was, but Tommy refused, stating that his sister needed him. This lead to an argument between the two, with Grace furious that he would choose his sister over her soon, but Tommy took no mind as his priorities lay with his sister. She was injured because of an error he made, and he wasn’t going to leave until he knew that she was okay.
It wasn’t until the early hours of the morning when an improvement to y/n’s condition was made. Tommy was knocked out of his thoughts by a slight movement of the hand he had never let go of since he was let into see y/n. Looking down, he could see y/n’s finger moving ever so slightly that he thought that it was his sleep deprived state that was making him feel it. But when he looked up at y/n and seen her head move to the side he knew he wasn’t hallucinating what he wanted to happen, it was in fact happening. In his desire to get y/n to waken up some more, Tommy stood up and leaned over his sister, placing a hand on the top of her head as he brushed back some lose hairs.
Y/n hummed as she felt the cool water hit the back of her throat. Licking her lips, she moved her head away from the cup Tommy had at her lips and winched as she swallowed. Tommy brought his hand back to hers and rubbed it between both his hands as he watched her try to open her eyes. Y/n struggled for a few minutes before finally opening her eyes, shutting them just as quick as she opened them when the light came to view. Blinking, she opened them once again, and Tommy came into her view, a slight smile on his face.
“Hmm, Tommy.” Y/n muttered dryly, smacking her lips together trying to get moisture to them as she kept her eyes closed with tiredness.
“Y/n, can you open your eyes love.” Tommy asked softly, rubbing his thumb around the palm of her hand.
“Water.” Y/n stated, though Tommy struggled to hear it with y/n’s dry throat.
“Here you go.” Tommy stated, quickly moving to the side of the room and filling a small cup with water, bringing it to her lips so she could drink.
Y/n indicated weakly with her hand for Tommy to come towards her and Tommy looked at her before sighing and moving back beside her bed. He took her hand once again and y/n smiled, squeezing it.
“Hey you.” He spoke gently, and y/n smiled slightly.
“Hey.” Y/n replied, moving to get up but gave up upon feeling pain.
"How you feeling love?"
"Like I've been hit by a bullet?" She joked, smile fading as she watched her brothers reaction.
"Y/n I'm so sorry for not believing you when you told me some guy threatened you. I should of trusted you and went to deal with him as soon as you said. But I didn't, and now look where you are." Tommy stated, throwing his hands up in frustration.
"Tommy, it's okay." Y/n tried to calm him down.
"No, it's not. And don't play it down like it is. You could of died y/n, and that would of been for my stupidness." Tommy said, standing up forcibly.
"Yeah, and I was beyond hurt that you didn't believe me. But you saved me from a worse faith Tommy. You got him and got help before it was too late. You may not see it but if it wasn't for you turning up when you did I would be very dead right now." Y/n explained to Tommy, and he looked at her with unease. "Come here."
" I thought you'd hate me." Tommy spoke in a small voice, one y/n hadn't heard in a long time.
"We make mistakes Tommy, and we learn from them. Be glad nothing terrible happened, don't overthink what you could of done. I'm here, and I'll hold it against you, but I could never hate you. That's not in my blood. Besides, the rest of the family hate you enough for me." Y/n stated, smiling slightly to ease Tommy's worry. "I love you Tommy, that will never change."
"I love you too." Tommy smiled, kissing y/n's hand, "and from now on someone will be with you at all times."
"Course they will." Y/n muttered before smiling at Tommy, knowing it would make him feel better.
Info: Young y/n Bridgerton loves everything to with Christmas, especially the lights that line the streets in December
Relationship: Bridgerton family x sister reader
Anthony Bridgerton watched with a roll of his eyes as his 5 year old sister bounced around the place, excitement evident through her. Today was the first week in December, and the town were going to turn on their lights to officially kick off the Christmas season. Each year they made a big event of it, with the Queen hosting a ball for the newly wedded couples of the year , one which even the children could join. The eldest Bridgerton knew how much his sister loved Christmas, but ever since she could talk it seemed her excitement had grown.
“Y/n, please calm down, you will cause yourself injury.” Anthony scolded the child before looking to the door as his wife walked in. “Oh let her be, she is excited for what’s to come.” Kate smiled, wrapping her arms around her husband from behind. “Yes brother, you do know why y/n is like this.” Benedict remarked from the bay window, paint brush in hand. “I do, but I would much rather not have y/n miss the one ball she can attend to.” Anthony raised his voice at the last bit, looking at y/n as she quietened down. “How much longer?” The little girl whined to her brothers, running over to pull out of Anthony’s arm. “Perhaps you should go find mama, getting ready may speed things up for you.” Anthony teased his youngest sister, poking her nose causing y/n to giggle. “I’m gonna wear a red dress.” Y/n remarked, running out of the room. “Oh how lovely, she shall be easy to find should she go missing.” Colin smiled from his spot by the fire. “Colin.” Penelope hushed her husband, not wanting y/n to act up on that statement.
---
“Easy y/n, please.” Voilet’s Voice was heard from up the stairs. “Yes mama.” Y/n’s little voice was heard.
Benedict stifled his laugh from the top of the stairs behind his mother as he watched y/n all but run down the stairs in her little red dress. Her mother had been against the vibrant red, but y/n had managed to convince the retired Viscountess to allow her to get it. Anthony and Kate waited down the stairs, looking up at the young girl that rushed down the stairs, eager to get going. Wanting to prevent any injury, Anthony moved to the last step and picked y/n up, causing her to giggle.
“Well, look at you.” Anthony smiled, holding y/n on his hip before poking her chest lightly. “I wearing red.” Y/n pointed proudly to herself. “I see that.” Anthony smiled, looking at y/n’s colourful dress choice. “You look lovely y/n.” Kate commented her new sister, tucking a piece of hair behind the little ones ear. “Must we all attend tonight.” Eloise asked, coming down the stairs with her mother in toll, tugging at the fabric of her dress. “Yes, we are going as a family. I will hear no complaints.” Voilet tapped her daughters shoulder, giving her the eye to stop fidgeting. “I agree, what a wonderful thing for us all to attend.” Colin stated, coming down with Hyacinth & Gregory beside him. “Are we all ready?” Violet asked her children, sharing a look with Kate. “Let’s go, let’s go.” Y/n wiggled in her brothers grip, trying to get out. “Don’t wander y/n, and put on your coat.” Anthony called out to his sister. “Should you think she heard you?” Eloise asked her brother, watching her baby sister run off. “I don’t believe so.” Benedict shook his head, causing Anthony to glare at him before taking the youngest’s jacket from the door man.
---
The town was packed with families from all over London, and Violet struggled to hold y/n’s hand as she tried to drag her mother towards the front. Seeing his mother’s struggle, Benedict took y/n’s hand before picking her up, ignoring as little hands tried to push him away.
“For a better view.” Benedict remarked, and y/n stopped at that.
Anthony and Kate walked hand in hand, smiling at each other as they walked the streets. Behind them was Penelope and Colin, who were laughing at something Penelope had observed. Hyacinth and Gregory walked obediently in front of the adults, and Eloise tagged along behind them, folding her arms as if all she wanted was to get away from here. The night was chilly, but the crowds made it tolerable. Feeling her brother come to a stop, y/n grew excited and looked around, giddy for what was to come. Violet placed her arms around Hyacinth and Gregory as they all waited for the lights to turn on.
Y/n bounced in her brothers arms as the crowd started to count down. She wasn’t very good with numbers, but she knew when the crowd started chanting, the lights would soon turn on. Benedict kissed his sisters cheek as she leaned closer to him, thinking it would help her to see. She clapped happily when the lights turned on, causing her brother to laugh.
“You happy y/n?” Benedict teased her, adjusting her to have a comfortable hold on her. “They’re so sparkly.” Y/n spoke in amazement, looking above at the strands of light. “There just lights y/n, nothing special.” Gregory remarked, and Violet squeezed him tighter. “Don’t upset your sister Gregory.” Violet stated, not wanting to catch a scene. “She’s so amazed.” Penelope stated, smiling slightly at the youngest. “Ever since our y/n has been a babe she has loved the lights.” Colin explained to his wife. “She was only in mothers arms when she would stare up at them with a wide smile.” Benedict admitted, tucking some hair behind y/n’s eyes. “We used to have a small set of Christmas lights on her roof so she would sleep because she didn’t understand where they went.” Anthony explained, an arm around his wife’s waist. “We don’t know why, she just took to them.” Benedict shrugged, watching his sister with a smile. “I wanna touch them.” Y/n stated, and Anthony jumped forward to grab her hand. “No no, hot y/n.” Anthony spoke harshly, trapping her arm in his hand. “Aww.” Y/n pouted, not understanding. “When does the party start?” Hyacinth asked, wanting to go to the ball. “Ball Hyacinth, not party.” Violet corrected her, “We’ll make our way now.” “Can I stay here?” Y/n asked, glaring at Anthony as she pulled away from him. “Sorry y/n, you’ll see them on the way home.” Anthony smiled at his sister, who frowned in disappointment.
--------------------------------------
For the duration of the night, y/n never moved from the window, staring out at the light. She smiled at the sparkling of them at the window, and Benedict chuckled at his youngest sisters antics.
“She really loves those lights.” Benedict admired. “I do wish she would stay away from the window.” Violet sighed, eyeing her youngest. “She’s only five, leave her be.” Lady Danbury commented with a slight smile.
“Hey y/n, you gonna move away from the window any time soon?” Colin asked, smirking at his sister. “They’re so pretty.” y/n murmured, dancing her finger along the window. “They’ll still be there tomorrow night. Come dance with us.” Colin smiled, offering his hand. “Can we dance near the window?” Y/n asked, fluttering her eyelashes. “Well I..” “We can dance wherever you like.” Benedict interrupted her brother. “Hey, don’t steal my dance partner.” Colin joked, hitting Benedict on the chest. “You have Penelope, I have no one.” Benedict announced dramatically, taking y/n’s hand before twirling her. “Make sure we can see the lights.” Y/n stated. “We can see the lights, don’t worry.” Benedict smiled, taking her into his arms to make sure she could see them.
Info: The threat of the burned ones are gone but just when they think that they are safe, y/n's world is turned upside down.
Masterlist
Y/n stood with Sky and Silva at the entrance of the school, relieved that the whole burned ones were over. Y/n leaned on her father in content as his arm was wrapped around her shoulder, both relieved that both were okay. Sky smiled at y/n slightly before continuing his conversation with Silva.
Y/n was a fire fairy, having got her fairy traits from her mother, who she never knew as she left when she was three. Her dad practically raised her himself, her and Sky, who was two years older than her and taken in by her father when she was five. Sky's father was y/n's godfather so Sky and Y/n had always been close, and always considered each other brother and sister. She never knew much about Sky's father, just knowing that he had died during an attack on the burned ones before. Silva never told her how he died, only telling Sky recently the truth.
Y/n's thoughts were interrupted when she heard the sounds of cars on the gravel leading to the school. She looked ahead at the gates to see black cars coming into view, solarian flags flying in the front of the bonnet. Sky and y/n looked at each other, frowning in confusion.
"Dad, Why are the solarians here" Y/n asked her father, looking up at him in confusion. "I dunno, I told them the attack was over." Silva replied to his daughter, watching as the cars came to a stop. The trio watched as soldiers jumped out of the cars, forming a circle around them. "What the hell is going on?" Sky asked, going for his sword only for Silva to stop him. "Sky." Silva warned, glancing at the blonde before turning his attention back to the front as the Queen came into view. "The queen." Sky stated, looking down at y/n to see her reaction.
Y/n had always had mixed feelings about the queen, and the royal family as a whole. When she was young, just after her mother had left her and her father, the queen had tried to take y/n away from her father. Queen Luna believed that y/n was special, why y/n was never told, and wanted her to fight with the solarian soldiers, a protector of royalty of some sorts.
Silva watched his daughter carefully and seeing the wariness on her face, took her hand and squeezed it in comfort, smiling in reassurance when she looked up at him. As the Queen stopped in front of tem he stood in front of her, watching as Luna looked over y/n.
"Y/n Silva, still as beautiful as I remember." Queen Luna commented on the young fairy as she hid behind her father. "Your majesty." Silva nodded, trying to get the attention off his daughter. "Saul Silva, it is with a heavy heart that I must put you under arrest." Queen Luna spoke, looking at the specialist with a poker face. "For what?" Sky asked, moving closer towards those he called family. "For the attempted murder of Andreas of Eraklyon." Y/n looked at her dad with horror, not believing what had been said. "Attempted?" Y/n asked softly, causing Silva and Luna to look down at her, her father pulling her closer to him. A door was heard causing everyones attention to turn ahead as someone stepped out of the car. "Hello Sky." The man with a beard stated with a ruff voice. "Dad." Sky asked with wide eyes.
Y/n turned to her father as footsteps were heard coming towards them, Silva's heart dropping at the look of fear on her face. Deciding to comfort her before it was too late, he took both her hands and turned her to face him before bringing a hand to her cheek, smiling slightly as tears built in both of their eyes.
"It's going to be okay, alright. Stay with Sky, okay, he'll look after you." Silva stated in a rush, kissing her head and going to hug her only to be pulled back. "No, dad, dad." Y/n cried, rushing towards him only to be pulled back. "You'll be fine y/n." Her dad tried to comfort her as he was pulled towards the car. "No, daddy please, don't leave me." Y/n shouted in pain, trying to get to her father only for soldiers to hold her back. "I'll be okay y/n, everything will be fine, just stay calm and don't lose control." Silva stated, his heart breaking as he heard his daughter called out, unable to comfort her as she only called him that when she was vulnerable. "Dad, no." Y/n cried, her voice going hoarse, bringing her hand up to the soldiers and burning them to let go of her. "It's okay, you have Sky." Her dad stated as the queen blocked y/n's vision when her father was placed in the car. "Shush child, it will all be okay." The queen tried to comfort her only for her to flinch and form a fire ball in her hand. "No, no, no." Y/n muttered continuously, watching as the car drove off, Silva glancing back at his daughter for the last time. "Y/n, it's okay." Sky stated once he was freed from the soldiers hold, moving to comfort his unbiological sister. "Sky, my dad, he.." Y/n was unable to speak. "Come here." Sky stated, pulling the younger girl into a hug, kissing her forehead slightly.
Y/n cried into Sky's chest as Sky comforted her, him watching as the fire she created slowly distinguishing as she eased into his comfort. Sniffs were heard from the young girl as she tried to calm down, Sky shushing her as he rubbed her back.
Seeing movement from the corner of his eye, Sky turned his attention to the side only to see Andreas, his father, walking towards Queen Luna with a box in his hands. His eyes only narrowed in concern as he watched the queen open it and take out a diamond spiderlike object
"Wait, what are you doing?" Sky asked as the Queen began walking towards them, causing y/n to turn and look in fear. "Things are about to change here, and with her emotions y/n is a threat." The queen spoke, moving closer to the two students. "Your actions are what caused her emotions." Sky stated angrily, grabbing y/n and pushing her behind him. "Doesn't matter, y/n needs to be controlled." The queen stated, moving towards y/n only for Sky to step in her way. "Sky, move." Andreas warned his son, crossing his arms. Sky looked at her father before looking at y/n who looked at him in fear. "Sky, please." Y/n begged, not knowing what was to happen. "Y/n." Sky stated, not used to seeing her so vulnerable, only for soldiers to force him out of the way. "This will help us control you if needed, we wouldn't want any accidents now, would we." The queen spoke before turning y/n around and moving down her jacket, embedding the object into her back.
Y/n screamed in pain, trying to get away from the thing that was being stuck into her back. Sky tried but failed to escape the guards grip, leaving him to only watch as y/n cried out. Seconds later the Queen stepped back and y/n looked back at the metal object that was not lodged into her back before glancing back at the Queen, noticing Rosalind joining the royals side.
"Things are about to change y/n, I'd hate to have to use more force on you." Rosalind spoke before they all walked away.
The guards let go of Sky before following their leaders tail, allowing Sky to rush over to Y/n. He grabbed her arm as he reached her and gently forced her to turn around so he could look at the foreign object in her back. Y/n groaned in pain as he touched it.
"Sorry." Sky apologized, removing his hand from it. "What is it Sky?" Y/n asked, not able to look back. "I dunno, I've never seen anything like it before." Sky stated, frowning in concern as his hand moved against the blood that dripped. "What's going to happen to my dad." Y/n asked, tearing up again. "I dunno y/n, he'll go for trial but after that, it's up to the queen really." Placing y/ns jack back over her shoulder before turning her to face him, "But you and I, we need to stick together, I don't know what's going to happen next but whatever that is, we'll have each other okay." Sky stated, putting a hand on y/n's uninjured shoulder in comfort. "I just want my dad." Y/n stated, face scrunching as tears began to fall.
Sky sighed and pulled y/n into a hug, not knowing what to say that would comfort the essentially newly fatherless girl. He knew that Silva was doubtful in having a easy outcome, and right now he couldn't really care less, but he was going to be there for y/n regardless, she didn't do anything to him.
Realizing that it wouldn't be a great idea to leave y/n on her own tonight, Sky opted to bring her to his room, it was part of break anyway so no one would be around. When they reached his dorm the two just sat in silence until y/n began crying loudly, unable to catch her breath. Sky just pulled her into his chest and lay back on the bed, knowing that this night was going to be a restless one. Afterall, the girl just wanted her dad.
