They both gave him flowers at different points in the episode. Gem gave Etho an allium and Joel gave him a dandelion and I think it’s up to us boat boysers to make dandelions, like, their thing. I will be propaganda-ing that so be warned.

I actually finished the piece a while ago, so though if I were to do it again now I would definitely do it differently, I also find it really fun to look back at how I drew just a few months ago, like a little art time capsule, and I’m really proud of the concept behind it!

As I said, I drew this a while ago, so I don’t entirely remember the thought process behind it, but the general idea is that I had been watching Jimmy’s pov of empires, and I was thinking it might be fun to consider why the music disc was so important to him, and the fact that he, a fish person, liked the sound of it, but everyone else found it weird, reminded me of stories where mermaids sound really amazing under the water but not so much in the air, so I had the idea that maybe it was the same song that Lizzie used to sing to him while she waited for him to hatch, but that it sounded unappealing to all the other emperors because they could only hear it above water. He couldn’t really remember where he knew the song from, but it was comforting to him (in my headcannons). Hopefully that makes sense lol, I think I’m explaining myself poorly. Idk, I hope you like it!

I didn’t remember this until now but now that I do I thought I’d spread it around again because I think Giran needs his own fandom lol.

I don’t remember which “guess the build” video this is from, but at some point Grian gets the prompt “Grian with bubble gum in his hair” only instead of saying Grian it says “Giran”, so Grian decides to build what the prompt says, Giran, which he describes as off brand Grian, so I thought off brand Grian should get some fanart too:

Here he is, in all his glory. I know the final design didn’t have glasses, but Giran gained and then lost them throughout the building process and I felt they should be present too. Still got that bubble gum, though.

I realized I hadn’t drawn Joel recently enough and was suffering from withdrawal like any normal person would, so I searched up smallishbeans and started scrolling through images looking for inspiration to draw, again like any normal person would, when I came across what is possibly the greatest picture to ever be taken

I failed miserably at capturing the look of pure joy on Joel’s face, or the look of absolute smugness on Lizzie’s, which is a shame. Someone more talented than me should redraw

I had to draw them being their idiot selves. @risibledeer has the context and everyone else will just have to wonder lol.

I’m posting it as is because that took too many hours to do just that bit for me to feel up to finishing it, but I think what I have turned out well!
