Nearly Gave Up On This Many Times But I Have To Spread Propaganda For My Headcanon... I’m Convinced

A title card for a DRV3 fancomic called "Emergency Stop." It shows Kiibo lying frozen and covered in sparks, while Miu looks down at him, unsure what to do.

A box reads “Some time in Chapter 4…” In a gray scene, Miu uses innuendos to ask Kiibo what repairs he needs. To her surprise, he replies by kissing her. She says “Oh, so it’s that, huh? Easy, I’ll have it fixed in no time!! Let’s start right away!!!” The scene fades to black and then suddenly disappears with a “CLICK!” sound, now showing Kiibo alone in an empty white panel.
He suddenly notices Miu standing on the other side of the room and expresses confusion as she starts crying. She grabs him by the shoulders and says “You don’t remember!? Kiibo, it’s been three hours!” to which he replies “Wh-what?!”

Miu tearfully explains in flashback: “You just froze all of the sudden! I didn’t notice at first ‘cause you were electrocuting me in all the right places, but… I thought I broke you! I thought I’d crushed your — sniff — delicate circuitry with my — sniff — gigantic goddess tits!” Kiibo looks disturbed and blankly says “ah, I see…” Miu replies “Eek! Don’t look at me like that!” Then Kiibo asks if she touched the square button on his neck.

A box says “after some explaining…” Miu teases Kiibo for having such an “uncreative” feature. He replies, “I am just going to assume you mean intuitive… Besides, if its purpose was really so obvious, why would it have taken you three hours to un-press the button?”
Miu starts to stammer nervously, confusing him. “Don’t play dumb,” she says, “I… should take that function outta you. It’s dangerous.”
Kiibo puts a hand to his chest and replies, “What? No, that is actually a very important safety feature! Miu, if I… if something were to go wrong, you could be seriously—” He cuts off as he notices an electro-hammer buzzing on the floor where Miu was trying to hide it. “Hurt,” he finishes.

He asks, “Miu, is that… a weapon?” Miu freaks out, annotated with a kana reading “heeeeeee.” She says “Ya seriously got some screws loose if you think a stun button doesn’t make you an instant target. I mean, it’s way too convenient! You’re practically asking for it, you know?”
Kiibo relents, looking troubled: “You’re right. I should be glad it was you. In the end, I know you would not take advantage of someone so defenseless.”
Miu replies, “Oh, Kiibo…. The hell are you talking about?! Be glad it was you!” Over a panel of her standing threateningly with a hammer, Miu starts raving about how if it was anyone else lying catatonic in her lab, she would have killed them immediately. She runs down a blackboard laying out how she would have “bashed ‘em in, thrown em down the manhole, then forged a letter from Soyhara — or maybe just send their panties into his room? — You know, just something-or-other like that!”
Kiibo replies horrified, “So detailed! Is this what you were doing for three hours?!” Miu looks pained and says “But I didn’t! Ain’t ya listening?!” Kiibo replies “I am! That is why I am so horrified!!!”

Miu turns away with her face hidden behind a dialogue bubble, though we can see she’s gritting her teeth and sweating. She says “Ya know what? F-forget it! Jeez, count on a robot to miss a perfectly good joke…! I mean, how would I ever…! And least of all to… y-you…” Her words get progressively smaller as she talks. Kiibo looks flustered, thinking “You mean this was just a horrible attempt to tell me… that you care about me?” He looks away and apologizes for misunderstanding, though his smile is faintly visible behind his collar.
Miu takes his hands and asks to remove the emergency stop from him. She finishes, “And if I ever need to disarm you, anyways…” She pins him onto the ground and says “This seems to do the trick just fine, hmm?” Kiibo blushes and says “Well I… suppose you could say that…!” with a blush over his speech bubble.

Shuichi and Kokichi talk to Monotarou. “A… Strange setting?” asks Shuichi. Monotarou answers, “Yeah, the setting made it… so they would be unable to move if Mommy touched them.”

Kokichi, Monotarou, and Shuichi chatter on in the distant background. The panels of this page are sharp and fragmented over a black background. In the first, Kiibo looks down at something in horror and thinks “Miu… what did…?”
After this is a panel of Kokichi that zooms in on his bandana, where one of the checker squares is symbolically replaced with Kiibo’s square emergency stop button. The final thought bubble reads, “What were you *thinking?*”

Nearly gave up on this many times but I have to spread propaganda for my headcanon... I’m convinced that K1-B0’s weaknesses were the inspiration for Miu’s murder plot — that he can be paralyzed with his emergency stop button (from Ch.1 FTE) or presumably with an Electrohammer (keyword “hammer”). Paralyzing Kokichi to make the murder only somewhat easier always seemed convoluted to me, but it makes sense she’d take that step for granted if the whole plan was formed around it in the first place.

My point being: Miu certainly realized she could’ve killed K1-B0 whenever she felt like it, especially knowing that he would have to die either way... But instead she spent countless hours literally rewriting the laws of reality just to give his Achilles’ heel to someone else.

I know they say amnesia is a bad trait in d&d/ttrpgs but in my most recent campaign I made a character who was voluntarily memory wiped for magical powers and gave my dm permission to make up a backstry that I don't even know. So we show up in this town and get intercepted by a bunch of gangsters who were like "heyyy there's our lawyer with no conscience!" and my character is like "well i still dont have a conscience, how hard can law be?" and that's how we started the ace attorney plotline

I don't think many people realize how much they've been turned into a bunch of casually cynical jerks.

Someone may come to their parents and say "I want to write a book" and their parents will say "it's really hard to get published".

Someone might confide in their sibling and say "I want to sell my art on "x" platform" and that sibling will say "do you know how many people you'd be competing with? Do you know how many shops are even on that platform?"

I know a kid who once told his best friend "I think I wanna start a dnd podcast" and the friend was like "do you know what the word "oversaturation" means?"

Personally, I don't know why any of that matters? And even if it did, perhaps your response should be "Do it! Do it and see where it goes!"
