My Brain When I Saw This: I Can Be A Ghost! Boo I’m Scary

Two of my favourite things about animal behaviour studies:

1. It’s a recognised phenomenon that if you’re working with some of the more intelligent critters, sometimes they’ll figure out what you’re testing for and start deliberately providing the “wrong” response to every single test.

2. The researcher who’s writing up the paper is not allowed to say “clearly the little bastards are just fucking with us”, because that would be inappropriately anthropomorphising the subjects, but you can 100% tell that they’re thinking it.

i hate that every time i look for color studies and tips to improve my art and make it more dynamic and interesting all that comes up are rudimentary explanations of the color wheel that explain it to me like im in 1st grade and just now discovering my primary colors

FORGS FOR THE PEOPLE

While it definitely lost some of its appeal by being scanned I still adore this one. I really love the way that watercolor retains its beauty even while looking "unfinished and messy" and that's one of the reasons I love this style so much. With my watercolor I don't like a lot of needless detail because it detracts from the overall look of what I'm going for. 

why does being mentally/physically ill cost money? like goddamn i can’t afford to spend 30 quid on something that’s going to help me be and feel better, why can’t i just be h e a l t h y
