i will be continuing my watch through on tuesday when i’m next at my dad’s house, thank you so much to all of you who’ve been dropping cool hints and lore

…but like the cLONES VOICE ACTOR IS PERRY THE PLATYPUS?!?!

so i’ve started watching clone wars, and so far it’s great. i’m five episodes in, but i would like to complain, i really really really wish the clones had like differentiating hairstyles or something, because i don’t recognise the differences between their suits, and they all have the same voice and the same face !!!

and the clones are so very important to the fanbase !!!

i’m sitting there like “okay so Echo and Fives survived the base, Matchstick (?) exploded, Cutup got eaten by an eel, Hevy sacrificed himself, and Rex and Cody are… there.”

dawg i HATE it when people edit photos of characters where they airbrush them to infinity and beyond. like you can just SEE that it’s all way too smooth and it’s like GIVE ME SKIN TEXTURE! IT LOOKS OFF NOW I DON’T LIKE IT. gives me the heebie jeebies i swear.

guys i think the obsession might be getting a little out of hand

I love how the TMNT 2012 boys react to getting their names as babies. Like it’s so funny and personality-typical. Like Splinter points to each one and he’s like:

Splinter: Donatello!

Baby Donnie: 🤔

Splinter: Michaelangelo!

Baby Mikey: 😛

Splinter: Raphael!

Baby Raph: 😈

Splinter: And Leonardo!

Baby Leo: 🥰

Also the fact that Leo just flops on his face when he crawls over to the book is just SO ADORABLE LIKE AAAA-

ik i can’t just post randall continuously but shut up yes i can

but i just realised that aside from aging from MU to MI (like the wrinkles under his eyes, etc) two other things happened

First off, the spines on his head grew. In MU they were pretty short and rounded (that’s what she said), but in MI they’re really long and spindly (also what she said).

And second, his scales get a lot duller after the scare games final match incident. Like he was a slightly brighter purple shade at first, then he got a bit duller after he took off his glasses, and then after the scare games, he became really bitter and a lot duller in colour. I think that might be kinda showing that he isn’t really happy anymore? Or it could be an age thing. Idk maybe I’m just overthinking it. I’m so normal about him <3

his name is Simba and he very recently turned 3 and cannot decide if he wants to be a bully or sweet to people

My third TMNT rant of the day, but like it upsets me so much that Leonardo is told to be responsible for literally everything the others do

Like Splinter i love you but that’s kind of a jerk thing to do

In the 2k7 movie Leo’s getting reprimanded because the mission didn’t work out well and Leo’s like “i tried but Raph won’t listen to a thing i say” and Splinter’s like “that is your duty as the leader!”

LIKE WDYM ITS LEO’S RESPONSIBILITY? RAPH WAS THE ONE THAT GOT THEM INTO THAT FIGHT AFTER LEO TOLD HIM NOT TO?

And this causes tension between Leo and Raph because Leo’s been taught to manage his brothers and lead them to do it Splinter’s way, and Raph wants to control what he does so he rebels on missions, and then Leo gets in trouble for the mess, which makes him angry at Raph. You feel?

This mostly only happens on missions though, like otherwise Splinter’s being pretty fair with judgement.

TLDR; Splinter doesn’t parent right when he holds Leo accountable for his brother’s actions that were out of his control because they didn’t listen to him. And this causes issues between Raph and Leo.
