hello my lovelies! i’ve been desperately wanting to write as of late but i have no ideas rlly, so if anyone has any suggestions for fanfic ideas for me to write, plz let me know!

i usually focus on the lost boys (1987), but here’s some other stuff i’m willing to write about- though keep in mind it may not be as good as any lost boys works as i know that fandom better! also, below the cut are what to expect from my work and whatnot

fandoms:

the lord of the rings (plus any similar works, the hobbit, the silmarillion, etc)

gravity falls

my bloody valentine (1981)

twin peaks (may likely be god awful so my apologies)

over the garden wall

the spirit bares it’s teeth

mystery men (1999)

monty python and the holy grail

seinfeld (may not be great cuz i’m not too funny)

what to expect:

i am willing to write adult content, however i’m not very familiar in anatomy and whatnot so my apologies but it will not be perfect

if adult content is desired, please note that i won’t write incest, stalker type stuff, etc. i may also turn down requests that include abusive behavior but that may depend on a case by case basis (ex. twin peaks with leo being mean to shelly, however i want a happy ending if you don’t mind). you do you but personally i don’t want to write those things

similarly, i am biased so for example for the lost boys i likely wont have max be a good guy if you get my gist and i definitely will not make the lost boys bad guy, they are angels and i love them

tbh i would prefer it if there was some queer characters but you know

i procrastinate a lot and get distracted a lot so my work may take a while to complete, but if i’m really excited about the story it will likely be finished sooner

honestly i’m good with pretty much anything, but there may be some things i may turn down but we shall see

hey my dear lovelies :)

i know this is like a random little post, but i’m hoping some of you could help me figure out some things about my oc james?

i’m trying to flesh him out more as a character rn. my first inspiration for them was that they’re a lil’ bisexual demiboy who loves the goblincore aesthetic, and that still holds true.

he uses he/they pronouns. he tends to dress in darker tones and with many layers, likes fingerless gloves that are made from yarn, doesn’t usually wear skirts but enjoys them from time to time tho hardly- if ever- wears dresses. they have shoulder length dark brown hair, and brown eyes. adores nature. climbs trees often. studies plants and bugs and fungi and so forth, may go into some sort of biology type of thingy as a career. loves the show over the garden wall, and loves studio ghibli movies. may enjoy manga, largely one piece and one punch man ? may enjoy other movies like napoleon dynamite and nacho libre ? also, they’re amab and don’t rlly want to medically transition at all. he struggled for a while with self image and still do from time to time, but they’ve gotten much better and don’t get the temptations as much anymore if you get what i mean. he’s prob around 23 rn.

i needa work on his background and all i’ve rlly got rn is ideas which are: that their dad was kinda shitty and divorced his mom. dad might be an alcoholic ? dad prob went on to marry a woman who was also quite rude and whatnot. james’s mom was always quite sweet and kind but after the divorce she got rlly busy with working to support the family but they were always just scraping by. james overworked himself with exercise so they’re quite strong now but not like rlly buff cuz they realized they needa chill out a bit.

and, if you lovely people don’t mind, here’s a few things i need help figuring out:

how did james realize he’s bi? was it by getting a crush on a character from a tv show, or getting flustered around a cute boy in the gym, or something else?

how did james realize they’re a demiboy? i’m thinking he might’ve had a period of wondering if they’re a trans girl but i donno

siblings? does this little guy have siblings?

what about his school friends? did he struggle to make friends or feel like he fit in (tbh that’s probably likely)? what were his main friends like?

also my goodness, plz help me out with figuring out their family and how all that would affect my poor child james

isn’t it strange how you can deem something so precious and beautiful, yet to another it is anything but that?

the sky is overcast and they say it is cold and dull and ugly. yet you say that it is captivating, the way the clouds curve, the way the colors blend from earth and sky.

a person is trans and they say it is wrong and unjust. yet you say, “how wonderful it is that there are so many ways to be a person- to be alive!”

a poem, a story, a song, a piece of work that you yourself bled out from your beating heart- you hold it dear and it is glorious. yet they brush it aside, they say it was better left undone, better left in the despairing confines of a bin.

alas that there should be such distaste in the world that words of hate fall freely from peoples lips- they deem that they have no consequences, though the thorns bury deep and the wound may fester.

and so, my dear friends, though their words may be sharp and their tone unloving, adore what you adore. do not let their hate infect your heart. tred on life’s path with curiosity and wonder and love that overflows so that the burden of humanity upon this world is softened.
