Overhaul

missing

i feel as though,

i’ve lost part of myself,

a piece of me gone.

it’s out there somewhere,

in this huge world.

maybe it’s out having adventures,

saving someone’s life,

telling stories,

breaking hearts,

or being broken-hearted,

perhaps even falling in love.

i know it’s somewhere there,

i’ll have to look for it.

but for now,

maybe I’ll leave it be.
