Something I have been wondering because I do think it is a valid concern I have seen floating around, do you think next season Stolas will acknowledge and address the ways he fucked up in his and Blitz’s relationship?

Because we have seen Blitz be explicitly remorseful for the ways he fucked up, but we haven’t gotten explicit confirmation that Stolas understands where he went wrong yet.

For me, I personally think it's going to happen. Stolas is just now starting his arc and he has a lot to learn regarding his more classist tendencies, and what went wrong with his relationship with Blitz beforehand. (By All 2 U he's aware he did something wrong, he just doesn't know what).

The writers are extremely aware of Stolas' flaws, moreso than even fans care to admit. (I mean to say that some fans don't want to admit that Stolas has these flaws, but if the writer of the show- basically points out that he has these flaws, than yeah- he has these flaws).

Stolas has a problem of getting stuck in his own head, and so caught up in his own feelings that he's extremely unaware of the effects his actions has on people.

Stolas' main problem lies in the fact that he unknowingly hurts the people he cares most about without meaning to. Stolas always has the best of intentions, but he fucks it up anyway because he sucks at communicating.

Stolas, for example, never knew till it was too late that him pursuing a relationship with Blitz- and not reassuring Octavia properly, ended up severely hurting his daughter.

By the time he realized the errors of his ways, the damage was done.

Also, as stated in the Apology Tour description, "more apologies to come"...

It's just that the same way they took their time addressing Blitz's intimacy issues- they're going to take their sweet time when it comes to developing Stolas' character.

I really appreciate the realness these characters have. The deal itself isn’t realistic other than something similar to fwb but the show allowing us to see why these characters act the way they do and how it changes how they see themselves and the world and their misunderstanding of each others words due to that (it’s inevitability) is so raw and real. I love how they’re getting space. Always liked stolitz but they never really knew each other, got to see and understand who the other really was so how could they have anything more than a crush on each other? It’s like since the fight they’ve started to interact with the real versions of each other that their pedestals of each other haven’t allowed. Not to mention the fact that the basis of the relationship IS really bad.

I especially love this about stolitz because you never see that ‘crushes and incorrect perceptions of each other to real feelings to dating’ progression in media. Or at least if not dating, understanding and growing from the experience. In my experience, lots of situationships or things that can develop into relationships don’t have this linear ‘they like each other then they date’ progression. Instead, like stolitz, it’s everything’s the same except for some key moments. In stolitz these are

and these key moments need to be remembered to view the relationship holistically and ask “does this person have good intentions towards me?” or “do we work well as a couple?” “Is it worth staying together or making something more out of this?” etc

TO CONCLUDE

I like how real it is. I guess often relationships are smooth crushes that develop into something more real, but the reality for a lot of people is that at least before they sort out most of their issues, their relationships are probably going to be full of misunderstanding and miscommunication and pedestals like this. I hope the show deals with this concept well to set an example for people like me who have felt this way. LMK if you agree or your thoughts !

I'll be extremely disappointed if they make it so the succubus was only doing it because stolas is a prince or just to fuck with blitz because that will get rid of everything that I liked about these two.

I also really don't like the hate that he gets just because people want stolitz to be endgame

We already know they probably are gonna be endgame, but stolas needs to know what a real relationship is for once. He needs a break from blitz. And blitz needs a break from him (Please just let me have these two for at least a few months)

Honestly this new episode was really good. I hope Stolas will stay broken up with Blitz (not gonna happen but I can dream)

The episode said it best, when Stolas was talking about what he wanted it was just for a happy caring relationship, Blitz had nothing to do with it. Stolas just wanted him because he was so deprived of a relationship and thought Blitz was the best he could get. (That is what is presented as of now though it probably will eventually change.)

He wants affection and that guy gave him what he wanted for at least the night. If they want to make this realistic then I do think Blitz should learn to move on fully, they can still be friends but just that, for a long while. A relationship built on what this one was isn’t healthy and sometimes a loss is a loss, no matter how much it hurts.

And also on the other hand, the people I’ve seen hating this guy is weird, Stolas NEEDS this, even if it isn’t permanent. This guy has shown nothing but actual interest and I’m already seeing people say he has bad intentions. (He acted very sincere and there was no implication at all, also he asked nicely and wasn’t forceful.)

Also I like this guys design I’d love to see him again if they decide to make this a thing for a while. That’s all my thoughts for now.

I was watching Apology Tour, and…

I’ve spotted Beetlejuice, aka Alex Brightman, aka the voice for Fizz in Helluva Boss (and multiple characters in Hazbin Hotel).
