Okay. Right about this, right about now, is probably the peak Trump II map. It would’ve been nicer if I’d caught it while Maine was still showing up as red, but I didn’t.
What does that mean?
It means that multiple Trump-leaning states out east haven’t started counting mail-in votes yet, mostly because they have Republican legislatures who moved not to allow it.
Let’s take Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania has a pretty big red tilt right now. That’s what Republicans want you to see going to bed tonight. “They won.”
Except 2.2 million votes haven’t been counted yet, like, _at all_. The mail-in votes.
Because Pennsylvania is a party-registration state, where you register with a party to vote in primary elections, we know whose ballots they are, more or less.
And two thirds of them are registered as Democrats.
It’s not like the normal situation where you’ve got geographic lag, and yeah, results will shift a bit based on city/suburb/county/etc - you have a specifically _political_ lag. A division by _party_.
Republicans voting on the day of, and being counted first; Democrats voting early, and being counted last.
That’s on purpose. And the _purpose_ is to give Trump an artificial lead so he can move in with his lawyers - _as he’s publicly promised to do_ - and stop vote counting.
_Be ready for this_. They _will_ try to stop vote counting while they have a _purely artificial lead_.
A purely artificial _map_, that looks great for Trump.
But it’s not. It’s a map made out of vote counting where Republicans are counted _first_.
And that’s not how elections are supposed to work.
It’s quite possible that civil action will be needed to get all the votes to be counted. But if that’s what’s needed, _get out there and do it_.
This election isn’t over until all the votes are counted.
Which is why the Republicans will do whatever is possible to stop votes from being counted any further, and as soon as possible. 2000 in Florida all over again, just more, and bigger.
Are you ready?
Get ready.
Trump won.
this election was not fair or right. it was full of oppression at every turn. this has been building for years. voter suppression, growing poverty within minority communities, straight up blatant misinformation and corruption. this was no fair victory.
so what do I do now?

Guys?? Hello???? You all NEED to stop panicking. Panicking and worrying yourselves isn't going to do anything.
This election result is a snake bite. If you panic, it's only going to be pumped throughout you. Stay calm. Get help from people who you trust.
This election result is a bear. If you panic, it's only going to tear you apart. Stay calm. Play dead, and let it pass over you before you take action.
This election result is a tornado. If you're tensed up, you'll be splattered against the wall. Stay CALM and RELAX.
This election result is the Titanic! Be like Charles Joughin. Have yourself a drink or two, let yourself chill. The icy waters are just another swim.
I love you guys. Don't do anything drastic. Stay safe, and keep calm.

Yo Biden just announced an infrastructure devolopment/clean energy/environmental justice plan and it's honesty pretty fucking amazing and much more ambitious than I ever would have expected from him, goddamn. He's trying to Eisenhower/New Deal our way out of the economic collapse.
Some notable points addressed by this plan:
Expanding American railway systems
Fixing the crumbling roads, bridges, dams, etc. that haven't been kept up
Capping abandoned oil wells
Undoing Trump's financial bailout policies for unclean energy companies
Reinvesting in American-made automotive companies
Getting America to 100% clean energy by 2035
Fixing air, water, and ground pollution issues that disproportionately affect poc
Getting justice for victims of environmental racism
Reinstating a bunch of environmental and medical jobs Trump had cut
Getting the US back on the Paris Agreement/Climate Accord
