Excluding the celeste au cause someone else is already writting something very pog about that

i really like that, despite her self persception, Mahiro is well liked by most people. Even those who know her past self think well of her and only do overall harmless remarks because of the absurdity of her situation (mostly getting deaged and fitting right in with her new peers).
Like her smile its a literal flash bang and she was capable of making practically her whole class incredibly fond of her

Its kinda funny and also a bit sad that the first impression of onimai tends to be really bad because of how insane the plot is on paper and how normal it is for those kinds of plots to turn into a bit into the disgusting side, and yet the story its really freaking solid and despite some less than ideal jokes (that are at their worst on the anime mostly so if you are a manga reader it isnt bad enough to feel disgusted) the manga its really genuine and heart warming and the transgender coding being all over the story makes it just such a gem
