Obsessed with this concept
(the fact that the ravens annoy the wolves sksksnsjksn)
Dont make me show you why its called a "murder" of crows
You have been warned
Oh my god
forgot I had Tumblr soz xx
I am surprised that we didn't see the following announcement during the blackout during Sunday's Super Bowl.
"This power outage is brought you by Buffalo Wild Wings."
looks like a girl, but she's a flame

So I've recently joined the Arcane fandom (have not seen any of it yet but have absorbed some fanfics and lots of youtube clips) and I gotta say...
The fact that Jinx/Powder's two animals associated with her are the
Monkey - very intelligent, often associated with being crazy, and the
Shark - can be extremely violent and dangerous, misunderstood creatures stereotyped by the public
Like...hm. The symbolism is well done in this one.
EDIT: I realized she also is represented by a crow/raven (not sure which), and well...
3. Raven - associated with bad omens and death, also very intelligent. Collects shiny things (the unrefined Hexgems, anyone?)
𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒆
𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕
Ravens - alternate versions that I also like.
Ravens - finally found the courage to start posting art, more to come hopefully!
Humans have screwed up the world beyond what they are capable of repairing. In an act of desperation to mitigate the damage, they decide to genetically modify ravens. Why ravens? They have a similar intelligence to chimps and orangutans, great apes that have significantly larger brains. If the great apes currently running the world cannot solve the problem, then maybe another source of brilliance will guide humans from devastation.
The ravens are given longer life spans, larger bodies, and of course, proportionately sized brains. To allow the ravens to sustain their own culture and ideals, they are nurtured by non genetically modified raven parents but are taught about the human world by human teachers. Raised in secluded fields, jungles, and forests, they are brought up to speed on human technology and advances as they grow up.
As the first generation genetically modified ravens reach maturity and are having their own offspring, human leaders are reluctant to transition to leading with them side by side.

Feast of the Ravens
Too early late winter lamb Still and cold in the snow
The ewe bleating Pleading for her child To come away
The ravens’ assemblage Eyes bright and mystery deep
Unperturbed by anguish Fluffing iridescent midnight feathers Against the murderous cold
The forever hungry host Presses in Speaking harsh hard beaked Threats
The defeated ewe Abandons
Her lamb
A feast for Jostling jovial birds Scattering gore In the snow With bacchanalian Abandon At the end of Winter.
