despite maggie's hardcore intentions to have a realm without sentient beings in it so she doesn't have to actually work like a queen, i've been thinking about hallucinations having a home, so to speak, within subliminal - a place to go when they aren't being perceived. cultural phenomenons, like the hat man and bloody mary, or everyday ones like water on the road or shadow in the woods can find homes in subliminal. the more humanoid ones have a sort of village or town that they cluster in, while the more inhumanoid ones are scattered throughout, depending on which area of the realm makes the most sense for them
