I'm so bewildered by how Shou gets put in official art/merch and not Tome???? Tome's got 2 whole episodes dedicated to her and a spinoff she is WAY more of a core cast member than Shou,,,,, no shade to Shou but no way they put him in over her I dont get it.

It's Tome Kurata from Mob Psycho 100! Everyone's favourite normal weirdo. This was a very casual piece so I don't feel there's all that much interesting to say about it unfortunately. It started off as a little flowy gesture doodle, and then I kept working on it. I don't think It's particularly standout compared to other stuff (only because it doesn't have dramatic lighting or really saturated colours, I am shallow). It's just a very nice, solid, normal drawing, and it was easy on the brain. Although... ...I've decided to be more thoughtful about the colours I pick. I really wanted to make this look like early morning golden hour but it ended up looking like a handful of minutes past that. I'm kind of tempted to go back and add more yellow in the highlights, blues in the shadows and bump up the contrast manually, but I'm not sure. It doesn't really feel like the piece to go above and beyond effort wise. In regards to the physicality of the scene, I think it's better than what I'm normally capable of. I'm quite proud of the sense of depth. ( This description is old. )
TOME DOLL!!!!!!!!!
I upgraded an old porcelain doll I got at the thrift store a while ago. I made all the clothes and hair. I used old vintage fabric form my great grandma. The hair is made from craft foam!
She yearns for the skies….
Turns out you can use number 6 plastics to make shrinky dinks. My only problem was that some of them are a little warped. Reigen especially.
I had to lighten the image because they looked really dark on camera. I promise they aren’t that dark in person tho my lighting is just ass lol
i think the reason why tome’s arc in s3 eps 7&8 is so blindly gorgeous isn’t just because of the amazing animation, but also because tome desperately wanted to know that she wasn’t alone in the universe and she felt like she was running out of time. then she learns that’s she’s NOT alone in the universe, because she’s surrounded by people who love her and want to support her passions, and that there is always time for the things we love.
and then she actually discovers aliens and just fucking kicks it with them all night
