being a bad-to-beginner artist while having super talented friends is so nerve wracking holy shit
like they’ve just rendered this modern art masterpiece only for me come up and show them the floating heads im proud of

so yesterday was my 18th birthday. tbh i was pretty freaked initially about not being a minor anymore, but i’ve come round to it. i feel like an 18yo (which makes sense since i am one)
but anyway, the main reason i’m making this post is to introduce you to this fecker

ik canonically misha’s into rap, specifically self aggrandizing commercialized hip hop, but i like to think post cyclone he might diversify his taste a bit. he’d likely still predominantly love rap, but i reckon he could probably listen to a song like drain you from time to time

the way school works in france is that in senior year you have two speciality subjects (+everything else) which are then part of your end of year exams (+everything else, but these have higher coefficients)
my specialty subjects are SES (economics and social studies basically) and CAV, aka cinema!!
i’m telling you all this because GUESS WHO IS IN THE MIDDLE OF WRITING THE SCRIPT FOR THEIR SENIOR PROJECT SHORT FILM

a lot of people don’t realise that, if the country you’re in is heavily integrated into globalization, chances are there’s always going to be someone that understands what you’re saying. so going on holiday doesn’t mean you’re conversations are private
for example, i live in france, where people typically speak french. however, as you may have noticed, i, as well as a large part of the population, can speak english

a lot of the changes made to ricky in the newer script rub me the wrong way (which is my way of saying i don’t like them) but one that especially baffles me is
“make love to me, ricky! but first, won’t you please save our galaxy?”
i thought the whole point of sabm screwing the cat women was to save their galaxy? “we can save the whole galaxy with love from the heart”, n all that, but this implies they’re two separate things
so instead of love saving everyone, they screw then remember they’re in danger? but the cat dudes still say “but now there is a new challenge for zolaria to face”
was fucking the solution or not?
+he’s now the only character without a speech/monologue. describing zolar’s dick strengthening gravitational poll gives zero insight into his character besides “horny” and “likes space”
i kind of wish there was a line of dialogue where constance dismisses/is embarrassed by the fact that she can play the recorder.
it’s pretty far from the most glamorous instrument so I think she’d want to hide it away like her love for uranium and anything else “loser-ish”.
it would make her pulling it out in sugar cloud way more impactful, like this is another part of herself she’s accepting and even showing off
plus it does bother me a bit that it’s never acknowledged, unlike ricky and his accordion. it would sort of tie that loose end together
what if i said sapphic spacedolls??
some m/f ships are like. that woman is a lesbian. however that man is a woman so it all works out

like i understand they’re well meaning, but they still suck a bit. like, creating a new language is cool, but now he doesn’t know asl and can’t communicate with anyone else
it sort of bothers me how his parents are illustrated as loving and attentive. to me it seams more like they were unprepared for having a disabled child, then never put any deep thought into it?? like they have solutions for the short term, but otherwise sort of avoid the problem- which extends to ricky himself

no one ever talks about how rickys parents BARELY EVER INTERACTED WITH HIM. how did everyone forget that.
