Despite the leaked story boards many months ago, the story seems to have changed for the better. Actually this feels like the best episode so far in season 2 imo. I'm actually glad we didn't get the Millie s*icide thing. Maybe they listened to the audience's critics on Millie.
Listening to poison is fine but I'm more concerned about how they found it since Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss is supposed to be for an 18+ audience.
Listen I know this sounds weird and probably outdated but I'm worried at how many kids know HH and HB. Like I saw a literal NINE YEAR OLD blaring Poison.
I don't care if this is me being an anti. It's just worrying how so many children are watching a show being made for adults.
It actually kinda says a lot to me that none of the helluva/hazbin stuff on YouTube is age restricted and that the so called warning at the beginning only says "for mature audiences" instead of outright saying it's not for kids.
It will always ultimately be a parents responsibility but like. If you genuinely do not want children engaging in your content, you need to actually directly discourage it and put an actual "NOT FOR KIDS" label on it. Because I can tell you a lot of 13 year olds sure feel like they're a "mature audience"
100% agree with this anon.

This is a parental fail. Not a vivziepop one.
I agree with this but at the same time, the amount of children easily finding her content is pretty worrying. More kids should have a parental lock on their content these days but at the same time, if you know the show is NOT made for kids, why not age restrict some content? I know Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss already have warnings, but those are pretty easy to skip over. I mean personally for me, instead of saying "this is intended to mature audiences" maybe it could be "NOT MADE FOR CHILDREN" or "NOT MADE FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS" yk? To get the point across. I know this won't fix it but at least it's there. But honestly more kids should have a parental lock these days because at this point, it's just common sense to have one for your kid.

Viv seems to want to be both edgy and progressive, but it doesn't work that way. Like, ya gotta commit to one or the other.
You can't just make SA jokes then turn around and have episodes about how wrong SA is.
Like if you're so afraid of the backlash, then either get a sensitivity reader or stop being pretentious acting like you're this beacon of lgbt rep when your writing and how you talk about trans men in private shows the exact opposite.
There's no such thing as a "progressive edgelord". Stop acting like there is, Vivienne.
Maybe it's just me, but Hazbin Hotel under Viv feels more like an "on paper" show. She never should've fired those other writers who make the pilot possible.
I am a HUGE Dog-Man fan, mainly because of my brother BUT YES! Absolutely yes, Petey the Cat is a WAY better representation of a neglectful father with a bad past trying his best to be a good father. Petey gets called out a lot unlike Stolas.
Petey is actively trying to change and trying to get better, his past actions haunt him but he's actively taking responsibility to move on and be better. He's currently impatient and easily irritable, his anger issues are still there but he's learning to be better overall.
I saw some anon mention Petey the cat being better parental figure than Stolas on here, and I fully agree on that... That and the fact that Petey the Cat is a well-written character in Stolas in every step of the way.
The one thing that Petey and Stolas have in common is that they both have had terrible abusive fathers and didn't have a childhood of their own, and both have been shown to be pretty neglectful towards their own kids (Petey with Lil' Petey in the beginning of Dogman & Stolas with Octavia). But here's the difference:
One gets called out from this and actually regrets his behaviour and his actions. He regrets how he abandoned his son because he didn't come out the way he wanted, and for his own villainy, and selfish needs. He fully owns up to his own mistakes and is actively trying to become a better person and a better father for Lil' Petey.... And the other is Helluva Boss Stolas Goetia.
The fact that a children's book can handle any serious subjects better than an ACTUAL adult animated series should make you consider the fact that you're doing something wrong in your story Viv, lol.
That’s even more embarrassing, a Children’s book does a better job at depicting a serious topic than Helluva Boss.
Because Stolas did all this to himself. He cheated on Stella to have sex with an imp. He's ungrateful to anyone who isn't Blitzo, even though they saved his ass a bunch of times. He abandoned his daughter three times just to either flirt with Blitzo or stick it to Stella or having himself sacrificed in front of the court just so he can have his power stripped and live with his booty call. He lost everything because he did all of this to himself.
HE'S UGLY UM EWWWWWWWW
EWWWWWWWWWWWWW WTF?!
"Honestly, Octavia didn't deserve to be hated. She's been emotionally neglected by her father, and she had every right to be mad at her. I can't believe Brandon (Blitzø's voice actor) called Octavia a "fucking" cockblock. Why would you say that to an emotionally neglected teenager whose father abandoned her for an imp? It feels absolutely wrong. I wish Octavia was in a better position than this."

I used to love him...and now he's like...a fucking edgelord. And what do his simps see in him?? He's so ugly...gosh.
The biggest thing I noticed in Hazbin Hotel that Alastor is not scary. He used to be mysterious, creepy, and intimidating. We didn't know what he was thinking. We didn't know how he was feeling. He was such a great character because we knew he was insanely powerful, but he didn't act like it. But now that the show has come out, he's not scary or intimidating. He's just an edgelord.
Pilot Alastor wouldn't make this. Here he's goofy, but in a bad way. Where's the mysterious Alastor? This guy's just like "HAHAHAH I'M SO EVIL >:)" but he just seems stupid?
He also says all these corny lines, like "This is your sign not to mess with the radio demon," (it was something like that) "I'm about to end your fucking life," and "Adam. First man, next to die." He sounds like he's a 12 year old role-playing a creepypasta. These aren't intimidating, he just sounds dumb, edgy, and cringy
ALSO he seriously needs to STOP saying FUCK. It wasn't popular slang in the early 1900's, so he probably would never say it, but it also doesn't fit his persona. A really unique part of him is that he doesn't swear much and he's always smiling. He shouldn't say "ornery old bitch" and he shouldn't say 'fuck you." They just don't fit him. If he wanted what he said to have impact, he would have said something like "she's such a bitter old woman, bless her soul." or when Lucifer says the hotel's name isn't very clever, he should've said "your highness, intelligence is in constant pursuit of you, but it seems you have always been faster" because subtle insults he thinks everyone else is too stupid to understand seems more like his style.
I'll excuse him saying fuck once or twice. Maybe when he breaks his staff, and once more in season two? But he says it too much to have impact.
TL;DR, Alastor's not scary because he's not mysterious. He's just an angry edgelord
A recent article came out about the mistreatment and pay of Spindlehorse employees, please spread this around.
That frustrated me to no end because...how would that contribute to the story? Roo/Eve or Lilith being Alastor's captor gives him some form of reason to get involved with Charlie. Perhaps he wanted to get vengeance on Lilith by targetting her daughter? We've already noticed little details from the Pilots that he wasn't too fond of the Morningstars, but for what reason?
I was enjoying Alastor and Rosie's dynamic because it showed he was capable of making friendships and being genuine with someone. It adds something to his character, people are wary of Alastor and the main reasons he was around the Hotel wwas because 1, he's a feared Overlord, it helps prevent raids on it and 2, he's great support for running the hotel. Almost everyone knows Alastor is up to absolutely no good and is planning something bad to happen. He's a sadistic murderer plotting something awful, nobody knows his true intentions. He's not completely genuine with a lot of sinners.
But then Rosie, a person who's presence he actually seemed to enjoy. Someone he seems to truly be genuine with. Every fan was commenting how wholesome their friendship was. It adds something to Alastor's character that he isn't a manipulative and sadistic killer all the time, there's a softer side to him.
But no, boom...Rosie owns Al...and all that just gets tossed out of the window when their friendship could be explored meaningfully but what can I expect out of Hazbin?
Spoiler Alert: Leaks have come out- they might change but heres my criticism that might have someone watching this tumblr to re-consider.
You're telling that Rosie- the Rosie; happens to be Alastor’s captor? That's not even a plot twist, that's a plot disappointment. Why reveal that so early in the season if you want people to give a fuck about the show? Scrap that entire scene while you can, because it’s going to leave people extremely disappointed and pissed off. Rosie should be a demon friend Alastor knows, not his captor.
Like damn- my theory about Roo being Al’s captor sounds significantly more interesting. Even Lilith being Al’s captor is more interesting than Rosie is.
Fucking scrap it!
You know, the worldbuilding for hazbin and helluva are interesting but at the same time,I feel a bit bored by it. Sorry,it's just it has potential and all of that but hell is just like a nighttown that you can go there and suffered no consequences. And I know helluva is a spinoff to hazbin hotel except it's just destroys the both meanings of it. Especially since hazbin is about redeeming sinners while helluva boss is just don't get mad at me but just soap opera between an elitist with a peasant. I thought helluva boss is gonna be us seeing the IMP doing their missions and encountered many different challenges on navigating a business not seeing a dramatic retelling yaoi festizhization love story of stolas and blitzo. And with hazbin,it's just I wanna see hazbin having different customers and guests and how they interact with the hotel not a literal fight with heaven of all things. What's next? Do I need to get into getting myself info a lore Livestream of Viv telling us? No,I want subtle storytelling not an Italian soap opera,ah man. Ah,now because of this I have to entertain myself with fans making fanmade comics of both helluva and hazbin hotel and I'm not complaining because let's face it,fans does it better than the creator Viv does.
Vivziepop so quickly strays from her original concepts, and it makes both shows difficult to watch. The last Helluva Boss episode that includes I.M.P. going to Earth on a mission to kill someone is episode 5, ‘Unhappy Campers,’ and that was only Millie and Moxxie. The last time the whole team went was episode 4 of season 1! Helluva Boss is now just a show about Viv’s twinks and kinks. I genuinely think I’ve seen enough of Stolas for a lifetime. There’s so much potential with a show like this, and I would have loved to see Helluva Boss explore both Hell and the Human World, but it does neither. There are so many ways this show could be executed to explore the worlds and character dynamics, but we barely even know anything about how these characters interact with each other.
Hazbin Hotel does the same thing. We have the possibility to explore Hell and Heaven, but we don’t. Hazbin Hotel is also supposed to be more about the women characters, but we know very little about Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, or any of the other women; we instead get episodes about Husk, Alastor, Lucifer, Angel, Vox, and Val. Hazbin was supposed to be about new people coming to the hotel to learn about redemption. The only person we actually get is Sir Pentious, who doesn’t even change or learn anything about virtue and redemption. We also kind of get Cherri, but she isn’t even part of the hotel. 8 whole episodes for two official people in the hotel. I’d rather we see people coming to the hotel and learning about redemption for an entire season instead of the drama we see go down with Adam and Heaven.
Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss just move WAY too quickly. I think it’s even difficult for fans to write fanfics and comics about these characters because they have nothing to go off of. Almost none of the characters have personalities, and we don’t know how they interact with each other. However, I do think that Viv’s Hell is an interesting world. I just wish it was explored more. We’ve only see a few of the rings, met a few of the sins, and seen very little of Hell at all. I have no hope that Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss will be better shows, the only hope I have is that in 30 years, someone reboots these shows, and actually makes them good.
I've had a recent realization about Stella and Striker
I am 100% a Stella defender. She's flawed, but she deserves better than having Stolas in her life. But whenever I defend her, people always bring up the time she hired Striker to kill Stolas.
I have thoughts about this. First off, it's Hell, and hiring an assassin to kill your cheating, bitchy husband seems pretty standard. But why is hiring an assassin seen as a bad thing? And why is Striker even a villain? Striker is a hitman and an assassin, and that's seen as horrible and immoral. However, our main fucking characters are also hitmen. (Hitmen, NOT assassins, I see so many people confusing the two 😭) Why is it evil for Striker to be a hitman and assassin? Why is it evil for Stella to hire this hitman/assassin? And why is it NOT evil for the main characters to literally be hitmen? Why is it bad when Striker does it, but not when Blitzo, Moxxie, and Millie do it? And why is it evil for Stella to hire an assassin, when our main characters' careers and incomes rely on people like her hiring assassins and hitmen?
This also just shows a larger issue in the Vivziepop fandom, which is "It's bad for others but not for the main characters." Things are shown as being evil and immoral (murder, abuse, assassinations, SA, etc.) SOMETIMES, but when it's supposed to be comical, or when it's done by a main character, suddenly it's fine
This ask I’m about to say was more of a joke between me and my friends rather than anything legitimate. But I’m willing to bet 5 dollars that the reason why Sir Pentious was a punching bag and killed off at the end of Season 1 despite the pilot version of him being different was because Vivziepop was malding at the fact that the fandom pretty much prefers Pentious over her favorite (Alastor) at this point
YES! Sir Pentious is also based on her Indigenous ex-friend, so he's a stereotype of this friend. (Steampunk-ish style she made fun of him for having, long hair, suits, etc) She made Sir Pentious to make fun of him, and I think she's pissed that people didn't hate him as much as she does
Can’t you just like write fanfiction with your ideas like any other person instead of whining about what you want to change in the show. Like you can’t be happy that you’re arguing with hazbin fans for like, almost 50 replies. Who cares what hazbin fans think they’d probably enjoy what you had to write. Ur ideas are great but ur literally arguing for no reason. just write a fanfic 😭 not even trying to be rude. Rewrite to your hearts content viv cannot stop you
Okay I don't think you know what a debate is
Or what whining is
I was not whining. I write posts about my ideas, my personal opinions, and what I, as a fan of Hazbin Hotel, which was different
Those 50+ replies (they're actually like, 90+ but okay, getting your facts wrong, go off) are a debate with a mutual. You clearly don't know anything about this, because we've actually privately messaged and talked plenty. We literally weren't arguing, and we're mutuals who are very friendly with each other
I enjoy discussions. I'm not sitting at home sobbing and screening at my screen like it seems you're imagining. I'm just... having a discussion? Like, have you ever been in a fandom, this is what it's like
"Just write a fanfic." Well thanks for asking I guess, if you're so interested in my writing I am currently working on several stories. But I don't think like, 5 posts about mild criticism are enough to get so mad about
I finished reading Charlie is a bad person post and now I'm just over analyzing. It annoys me how Charlie is the Princess of Hell and has no experience of fighting. How the hell is Lucifer ok with the sinners looking down at his own daughter? Why doesn't he have her get used to her powers and explore it? She's over 200 years old and she knows jackshit about her powers. He basically crippled her.
And on another note regarding Val. Doesn't he technically own Angel's soul? If so, let's say Angel was teting to actually redeem himself. Wouldn't he still have to retrieve his soul back from Val? Wouldn't it be awesome if Charlei goes for a round 2 of meeting Val and tries forcing Val to give up Angel's soul back to him. How can she redeem sinners if they don't have his soul
I think Charlie's been looked down on by the people in Hell is supposed to like, make her seem like an underdog? She's super privileged, and is basically a white savior, but I think the point is that she's "just like the sinners" but it was portrayed really badly. Like, Overlords are more respected than their King and creator's daughter. And for the Sin of Pride, how seems awfully ashamed of him and his daughter.
I also think about this a lot. While I don't expect Charlie's going to suddenly fix everyone's problems or save everyone, she doesn't seem to be trying. In six months she has made no progress towards helping Angel. We know overlords can be killed, but does killing them free all their souls? Or is there some sort of Overlord Will they have to write saying who gets these souls? Does Charlie have the power to override the contract? Does Lucifer? Can Overlords willingly end their contract, or is it a no-take-backs kind of a thing? If Overlords can end contracts, why doesn't Charlie order Alastor to gain Angel's soul, then set him free? Why don't Lucifer or Charlie challenge Val for Angel's soul, then free him? Hell, put an end to the ownership of souls. They could absolutely challenge every overlord for the souls they own, then set these souls free? We know so little about Overlords. Is Charlie doing literally everything she can to help Angel? We don't know, because we don't anything about how his contract works. But this lack of information just makes it seem like Charlie doesn't care to help Angel
I know it's a bit of a bold statement, but I think Charlie's a pretty bad person
Not in the way Alastor, Angel, or Val are bad people. They are hateful and purposely harm others. She's a bad person because she enables bad people
Imagine finding out your friend is a literal sex slave who's soul is owned by his abusive boss. He knows his life's a mess, but he blames himself for everything that's happening to him. He uses sex and drugs to cope and forget everything that's going on in his life. He desperately wants to be free, but feels like he doesn't have the power to leave.
Imagine knowing your dad is your #1 enemy. He allowed the exterminations and continues to allow them because he thinks your people deserve death. He is encouraging the same things you're fighting against
Imagine your father figure (who is "supporting" your goal of redemption and good deeds) is a sadistic serial killer cannibal who owns the souls of thousands
Imagine being able to stop the suffering of millions around you, and you just ... don't.
That's Charlie. She is the daughter of a fallen angel. She's the daughter of an overlord. She's the princess of Hell. She's one of the most powerful beings in Heaven and Hell (less powerful than God, Jesus, Lucifer, and maybe the other sins?). She could free Angel Dust with the snap of her fingers. She could end their contract, kill Valentino, SOMETHING. Yet she does nothing. FOR 6 MONTHS her friend has been a tortured sex slave, and she does absolutely jack shit about it.
Her dad advocates for the slaughtering of her people, and is the entire reason she has to have her hotel, yet she's more worried about their father-daughter bonding. If he went to Sera and told her to stop the exterminations, I'm sure she'd oblige. If she didn't, just say "I'll tell all of Heaven about the exterminations if you don't stop" and she would. Exterminations could end so quick if Charlie or Lucifer used any ounce of their power.
She could fight Alastor and get him to stop killing people. Get him to stop being so evil and murderous, but she doesn't.
She has the power to fight essentially every demon in Hell and win, yet she doesn't. She's a pacifist who REFUSES to use violence or authority unless it's for her benefit (fighting Katie Killjoy, screaming at Susan, fighting Adam, etc). While using non-violent tactics are great when they work, they don't always work. You're in Hell, and saying "don't do that, it's mean :(" isn't going to work. You're not a good person for avoiding violence and not using your authority, you're a spineless jackass for never using violence or authority to help your friends or your people
The biggest thing I noticed in Hazbin Hotel that Alastor is not scary. He used to be mysterious, creepy, and intimidating. We didn't know what he was thinking. We didn't know how he was feeling. do you think Alastor's ever going to be confirmed Aroace
in all the time he's existed, he's only ever been canonically Ace
I feel like this is because Viv is a proshipper and WANTS people to ship Alastor. Her content thrives on ships, and without them people wouldn't enjoy her shows half as much.
Is Alastor probably Aroace and will never date anyone or feel attraction to anyone? Yeah. Will it be confirmed? Sadly, I don't think so. Viv wants her characters to be simped for. She wants her characters to be sexualized. She wants her characters to be romanticized. Alastor should not be one of them. Without shipping, Hazbin Hotel has nothing left, so she clings to shipping as her saving grace
If Vivziepop wanted to write a REAL critique of Christianity (instead of a show misrepresenting and shitting on it) she would have made Emily the main character
A demon suffering at the hands of Christianity? It's fine, but boring
A seraphim who is a devout Christian suffering at the hands of Christianity because of the hypocritical nature of some extreme Christians? SO interesting.
I thought of this listening to "You Didn't Know" from Episode 6.
"Was talk of virtue just pretension? Was I too naive to expect you to heed the morals you're purveying?" and "If Angels can do whatever and remain in the sky. The rules are shades if gray when you don't do as you say" really made me realize how great if a premise this would be.
Emily is a fucking Seraphim. She's not just extremely Christian: She's an angel. She has a reason to be naive, she grew up in paradise. She genuinely believes everyone's good because that's all she's ever known. She's never experiences hardship, and neither has anyone around her. You know she'd be furious to find out about the exterminations: "Why are "innocent" people having to suffer." She'd want to help others live the wonderful life she's lived. She might help them as an angel, but I think it'd be even more interesting for her to become a fallen angel. Imagine. She lives her whole life a perfect Christian. A perfect angel. A by-the-book girl. A rule following, Bible following good person. She tries to help people from being slaughtered and gets sent to Hell. It doesn't matter how much of a Christian she was, because she went against those in charge of Heaven (similarly to how you can be a Christian, but are ostracized if you go against the Church). She would either get Heaven to change, and be invited back into Heaven, or she would work to create a better Hell as some sort of ruler. She has infinitely more motives than Charlie, and her naivety has more reason. She would know better how to help people become better people. Emily's journey from being a well respected and influential seraphim to a disowned and ostracized fallen angel would be so interesting to see, much more interesting than the mess we got with Charlie
What's your opinion on the hazbin hotel songs?
(I've heard a few and i think they're okay..)
I'm so glad you asked bc I have some OPINIONS
(I'm not gonna talk about the pilot, just the episodes)
I've watched the first four episodes and they're better than I expected, but my expectations were on the floor
The first song is "Happy Day in Hell" from "Overture." Although this song/plotpoint should have been WAY later in the series, I like it. It feels like "Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow" from the pilot, however both songs are on my playlist. It's a good song that serves as a recap of the pilot, showing Charlie's personality, motives, and her relationship with Vaggie (a little). It's a nice song with little substance, and feels like a Disney Princess' "i dream of something more" song. 7/10
In the same episode, we get "Hell is forever" sung by Adam. THE Adam. The first man Adam. Charlie meets with the Angels (just Adam and Lute, a girlboss exterminator who I think is in love with Adam?) and discusses her plan to redeem sinners. Adam laughs her off, singing "Hell is Forever," trying to convince Charlie that sinners can't change. Adam is such a dickbag that it's hard to like any part of this scene. He is really disrespectful towards women, grossly sexual, swears more than most characters in the show, and talks about being the "original dick." It wasn't unbearable, but it's probably the most forgettable song so far. 2/10
Next is "Stayed Gone" from the episode "Radio Killed the Video Star." It feels like a rap battle. It's a competitive song between Alastor and Vox that takes place over the radio and on TV respectively. A basic rundown is that Vox is kind of horny and down bad for Alastor, won't admit it. Vox is really pissed that Alastor came back (he was gone for 7 years) and is basically going on TV to shit on him. However, before he left, Vox had asked Alastor to join the Vees, (an influential group of overlords with names that start with 'V'; it's giving middle school popular girls) and Alastor refused. Vox is mad that Alastor didn't join, which leads Alastor to drop the iconic line "I said no and now he's pissy, that's the tea." This is probably one of my favorite songs in HH. It's catchy and unproblematic (which seems to be difficult for Viv). 8/10
"It starts with Sorry" is a song Charlie sings to Sir Pentious, telling him she'll accept him into the hotel if he owns up to his mistakes. It's an okay and forgettable song, but it's super ironic. A song about acknowledging you've hurt people, apologizing, and becoming a better person? In Vivienne fucking Medrano's show? Absolutely hilarious to listen to, if you go at it with a different perspective. Viv should take her own advice. 3/10
The episode "Scrambled Eggs" is based more around women (shocker, it wasn't written by Viv or Adam). The first song in this episode is "Respectless." It's sung by Velvette, one of the Vees, and Carmilla Carmine, an overlord. Velvette brings a decapitated angel head to an overlord meeting, and announces that angels CAN be killed, contrary to their previous belief. Velvette suggests they fight back against the angels and the exterminations, while Carmilla is adamant against it. The song's fine, but I especially love Velvette's lines. She has an English accent (Essex? I think?) and basically says "I'm not just a bitch. I'm THE bitch" and I love her for it. 5/10
Right after that, we find out that Carmilla killed the angel, which would have been shocking, but we only knew her for like, 5 minutes. The meeting's over, and it's just her and a few others. She says that she killed the angel to protect her daughters, and that going to war would endanger them again (basically "going to war endangers the people we started killing for"). She sings "Whatever it Takes" about protecting those she loves? I think, the song wasn't good enough to pay attention. This song's got a side-by-side with Vaggie, who's singing about wanting to protect Charlie. It's a sweet and nice song, but was just kinda mid. There's also a problem with Vaggie's singing, in which her voice is deep and monotonous, but her singing is light and high-pitched. 4/10
Oh boy. The next episode. "Masquerade." The first song is "Poison," sung by Angel Dust. It was released early, and got lots of hype and controversy. Similar to "Addict," it's a song where Angel talks about his struggles with addiction and his sexual abuse at the hands of his pimp, Valentino. Both of these songs are also on my playlist. It's catchy and fun to listen to, while also tackling deeper topics. Angel feels like his sexual abuse is his fault, and although he absolutely hates it, he feels like he has no choice but to stay. The song on its own? 9/10. Then the episode came out. The song shows Angel dancing and singing this song while graphic images flash behind him. Images of his rape and sexual assault. This episode had ZERO trigger warnings. The creators of this song were Viv and Raph (I can't find his last name right now). We can only speculate for Viv, but Raph 100% has a Rape kink. He ships Angel x Valentino, posts cosplay and art shipping them, publicly sexually harassed (asked for the nudes of?) a 15 year old, and essentially has admitted he finds rape and SA hot. He also lied about being an SA victim. Neither Viv nor Raph are SA victims. This song is just to fuel their rape kinks. Viv and Raph have yet to apologize for sexualizing SA, and have since doubled down on why this is "good representation." Truly disgusting, I have no choice but to say 0/10
"Loser, Baby" is similar to "Poison" in the sense that's it's fine until you REALLY think about it. In this song, Husk tells Angel that he used to be an overlord, but lost his power to Alastor. He says that he understands how Angel feels, since both their souls belong to overlords. The song is supposed to portray a "you're not alone, I understand what you're going through" message, but instead feels victim blame-y, with Husk kinda telling Angel that he should just try to ignore and move past it because everyone struggles. 6/10 song, 0/10 message
The songs were kinda disappointing, especially the last two. Fuck Vivienne Medrano
Just gonna let yall know what kind of person chai is

It’s pretty funny that Brandon loves blitzstrike while everyone else bad mouths striker and how evil he is he says “Okay but hes kinda hot though. Would” or that one time. “Hey Ed is the statue accurate?” Ed replies “why don’t you find out”
My favourite. The latest one. “Did you see that scene where (we) had (our) faces right up close to each other? I watch that every day.”
Tension is undeniable. Morgana and Viv gotta stop fighting the gay cowboy thoughts. They’re brokeback mountain core.
BlitzStrike is an unstoppable force and even Brandon knows it. The only question is who's going to be the one to bottom with no lube and an ass full of beans.
Stella: She’s a horrible, awful person! Who cares if she was brought up in the same environment and circumstances as Stolas. Some people are just born evil. If you try to give her any depth, you’re an abuser apologist! You don’t care about male domestic violence.
Loona: HAHA FUNNY! It’s slapstick. She came from a harsh environment. Blitz shouldn’t have criticized her. Can’t you take a joke?!
Honestly, I really enjoy seeing the redesigns of the characters, normally the artists just draw them for fun, or as an exercise, not because "I can do it better", and it's sad to see that they put lots of love into making their redesigns just for the toxic fans to attack them, saying that the designs sucks or that the artist hates the show...
Recently an artist made a new redesign of Angel Dust, posted it and lots of toxic fans attacked the artist insulting them, I understand why they don't want to make more redesigns, it's sad that someone makes something that they're proud of just to be torn apart by the toxic fans...
Let’s be honest here, the only reason why Viv’s fans attack anyone that draws redesigns is because said redesigns are better than the source material.
Why is that people who don’t work on the show get that Angel and Vaggie are supposed to have a spider and moth motif, but Viv (The person who created these characters.) doesn’t?
Even the people who don’t know anything about demonology get that Beelzebub makes more sense as a giant bee/fly than a sparkle dog.
Most animated shows have a bunch of character designers on staff, so they can share ideas when it comes to a character’s design.
But not Viv’s shows! Viv is only one who has final say on what the main cast should look like, while the character designers are only allowed to design a bunch of background incidentals, who end up looking a hell of a lot more appealing than the main cast.
If you’re an artist who enjoys drawing redesigns, please don’t let Viv and her fandom’s toxic behavior discourage you from doing what you love.
Yes, there are artists who only draw redesigns because they wanna “Fix” a certain design, and those assholes shouldn’t be given any attention, but most of the people who do redesigns of Viv’s characters do it for fun.
With that being said, if you are an artist who’s thinking about posting your Hazbin/Helluva redesigns online, please be aware that the fans will end up harassing you, so be careful out there.
Also, I don’t blame anyone who says that they don’t want to draw redesigns of Viv’s characters because of how toxic the fanbase is.
The crazy thing about this Is that, if we're going off of the Old Testament, then Adam & Lute + Sera probably would be in the right. How come? You see, the God in the Old Testament (and even sometimes in the New Testament) punished humanity for a whole lot less. If a group of humans did something OT God didn't like or agree with? Arson. Famine. Floods. Plagues. If you can name it, he probably did it. By the way, all of these punishments indirectly caused genocide so if God doesn't care about KILLING LIVE HUMAN BEINGS IN MASS what makes you think angels are going to give a flying fuck about purging THE WORST OF THE WORST HUMAN SOULS THAT HELL HAS TO OFFER? Cause as things are now, we as the audience have yet to come across one human soul who DIDN'T deserve literal damnation or, y'know, PROPERLY SHOW US ON SCREEN SOMEONE WHO WANTED TO BECOME A GOOD PERSON FOR THEIR OWN BETTERMENT.
"Maturing is realizing that adam and sera are in the right idc"

Alright everyone, I need your assistance again to help me decide what to do. In the first poll you helped me rename Charlie to Lavanya with Anya as her nickname but this time I need help for which character to write about. I didn't list any of the Overlords since the first character sheet I did was about an Overlord and Lavanya is demon royalty so as a way to balance that out the next two character sheets I do will either be about two lower class Sinners or one lower class Sinner and a Hellborn. Regardless, I can't wait to see who you guys pick!
Pilot Alastor will forever be the superior version of Alastor from his charming Transatlantic and radio filtered yapping to the way he carried himself and was never power hungry.
I'm kinda pissed about Alastor… like he turned out to be a major disappointment for me for a number of reasons. The pilot had promise for him to be quirky and silly which happened to have a darker side to him; and he could have been a mannered but not snarky character- but instead we get another snark fest character like the rest of the cast. Seriously? How many characters does Viv have that aren't “witty” (oh that's generous) and sarcastic all the fucking time?
