In band today Mr Beam[yes im using code names] let everyone vent about yesterdays costume fiasco, and reasoning with us about how at the end of the day shes the boss and we have to do what she says and how we could have our parents or gardians join a board of education meeting to voice their feelings.
Near the end i pitched in something like "It feels like it shouldn't have been made an issue at all, and teens- it's nature for them to rebel-" "uh yeah ya think" " But half the school- anyone that could afford getting dresscoded and didn't have strict parents were inevitably gonna dress up and it seems like it ended up being more of a destraction than if everyone just dressed up in the first place." And he got real quiet for a second and than pointed at me and said "Now the way she just said that- that patient calm tone- that is the tone you should use if you go to one of the members of the board of education" I was screaming inside
just watched s11 e10
AGGGGGGHHHHHH ME AND MY SISTER WERE SCEEAMING IN PURE GENUINE AGONY
The recent events have reminded me about the Trump/Hilary election. Seeing I was in the first grade I didn't understand very well and for some reason..
I was under the impresion it was about the Trolls movie.
My class mates[also first grade] would ask "who are you voting for?" And I'd say "I don't know, I haven't seen the movie"
Like, I thought the pink one was Hilary and the grey one was Trump.
I didnt know what they were being voted on for so I thought it was a "who's the best" vote or smt
Throwback to Johnson City TN where we went to a resteraunt and Brent Stafford was playing live music there. He was taking song requests and my little sis-ten at the time -asked him to play Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rett and he took note of her jedi shirt.
It was also really fun when someone asked for Wagon Wheel and he was just singing until everyone screamed "JOHNSON CITY. TENNESSEEE!"
Was forced to read a book, did not expect to be called out
I remember when trump was first elected,(maybe a bit after because I think I was a bit older) we had been listening to a recorded comedy show podcast thing with one of our favorite comedians and he said something about how he can’t wait for the day that a baby runs the country. and i distinctly remember my mom pausing the thing and saying something like “we already have a big orange baby running the country”. it seemed funnier at the time
-have a nice day
Pfff
ok you said your in band but you didn’t specify what instrument you played
sir or ma’am or they’em what notes do you make
I'm the pianist that sorta knows what they're doing :]
Yknow how people usually get really sad when their parents divorce, but like, on the outside too? Like they talk less don't eat as much start getting a lil bit depressed etc.etc.
I just got obnoxiously sarcastic.
Watched The Edge of Sleep w/ my sister, and the amount of times we just looked at eachother like 🙂👀👁👁☝️
Soooo
My mom is sending me and my sis to a church camp for next week- a whole six-and-a-half days- but.. half of my shirts are Supernatural shirts. And it's the middle of summer so I'm not alowd to where jackets.
We have to have both "play clothes" and clothes for service (whatever the fuck that is)
AND we need "shower shoes" like flip-flops.
YALL I DON'T OWN FLIP-FLOPS
So, time sensative question: whAT DO I DO-
It's really funny to me how people that kind of know me react to me saying my parents are getting a divorce:
