The Hell Is Transbpd And Cisbpd Why Are We Separating A Mental Illness By GENDER

the hell is transbpd and cisbpd why are we separating a mental illness by GENDER

Reminders to transBPD folk from cisBPD:

It's okay to feel ashamed sometimes

Your identity may feel lonely and "wrong", but it doesn't mean it's invalid

You are BPD, trans or not

You are not a joke

You may or may not transition. It doesn't affect your validity.

You are safe and loved.

You are cool as hell! I want to hang out with you!

"Anti-radqueers are the real cult" is very similar to "antifa are the real fascists". Anti-radqueers are not an organized group, it's just an opinion, like anti-racist or anti-ableist. Sure, there is an "anti-radqueer community" on Tumblr, but we aren't as organized or strict as the radqueer community is (hence why a lot of us have completely different discourse opinions outside of being anti-radqueer, meanwhile most radqueers have the exact same discourse opinions with only a few tiny differences).

Anti-radqueers are not a cult. Don't let radqueers steal yet another term to co-opt and shift the meaning of, especially when it's been proven time and time again that radqueers are in fact an extremely traumatizing cult. Calling anti-radqueers a cult is a badly done attempt to escape blame and consequences, and is directly copying off of and appropriating former radqueer's trauma.

Radqueers are a cult, not anti-radqueers. If you are a former radqueer, your trauma is real and is not because of "a few bad people". You deserve support, recovery, and healing. You are allowed to feel angry, upset, depressed, anxious, or traumatized after what you went through. Radqueers can deny that it happened, but can never take away the truth that it did.

To all radqueers out there, I have some very useful tips!!

Let's begin!

1. Getting off the internet and getting some help because you guys are not okay in any way!

2. Stop thinking that you are the future because anyone in the right state of mind isn't gonna accept you as valid, ever.

3. Smell some fresh air from outside and look at what's outside for a sec, I'm sure you forgot.

4. Stop trying to convince people that you are valid.

5. Stop taking disorders, illnesses and trauma.

6. Stop thinking you're from another race.

7. And this one is for the adult radqueers: STOP PREYING ON CHILDREN ON THE INTERNET YOU MOTHERFUCKERS.

Also, kindly fuck off </3.

People with psychotic disorders are neurodivergent too.

People with personality disorders are neurodivergent too.

People with substance abuse disorders are neurodivergent too.

People with tic disorders are neurodivergent too.

People with bipolar disorder are neurodivergent too.

People with dissociative disorders are neurodivergent too.

Neurodivergence isn’t just ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. (Plus those last two also get left out sometimes!) Neurodivergence is anything that affects your brain.

“Neurodivergent people hate loud noises” is actually just as valid as a statement as “neurodivergent people have delusions,” “neurodivergent people have tics,” or even “neurodivergent people have low empathy.”

Please stop trying to make a “better” word for transID.

So, as a lot of you may know, the creator of the term “oculoid” has been revealed to be pro-transID, and to be completely honest, I am not surprised. Oculoids were advertised as a “better” alternative to transIDs for those with genuine atypical dysphoria. After the creator was exposed, I began noticing a few people attempt to make “better” alternatives to transIDs.

Please stop doing that.

Yes, I do believe in atypical dysphoria. I, myself, have BIID. It’d be hypocritical for me not to. But that’s just what it is; dysphoria. A big part of the radqueer community is kids who are still figuring out their identity seeing all the labels for basic human things and being drawn in. Anti-radqueer made a good post about it here that I think explains it better than I could. In summary, wanting is a human thing, and making a flag and a new word every time you want is unhealthy and disrupts your view of the world.

Oculoids were introduced as a step out of the radqueer community, but unfortunately, they’ve become a step into it. It quickly became less about genuine atypical dysphoria and more about flags and labels. Making new ‘fun’ prefixes/suffixes and communities will only lead to more people falling down the radqueer rabbit hole.

I think I’d compare oculoids to vaping, in a way. It was advertised as a way out, but became a way in. You can’t make a “better” alternative to vaping and cigarettes, but you can find healthier ways to deal with your stress, just like you can find healthier (and appropriate) ways to deal with your atypical dysphoria. Does this make sense?

Conclusion: Stop trying to make a “better” alternative to transID. Stop trying to make a “better” alternative to oculoid. Stop slapping a “better” flag and label on something and calling it a day. If you have genuine atypical dysphoria, talk to others with atypical dysphoria and form a community. Find appropriate, healthy, and harmless ways to cope with it.

Also, if you can, finding a psychiatrist can also help. I am actually seeking psychiatry for my BIID. They can also help you find ways to deal with atypical dysphoria that isn’t harmful to yourself or others. I understand not everyone can get a psychiatrist though, and that’s why I encourage building a community that is not centered around flags and labels.

"let's not be ableist!", "every mental illness should be respected" and "using slurs, especially ones that based on illnesses is wrong!" people after they call every abusive and evil person they met "narcissist", "psychopath" and "sociopath":😂👍
