The hero has been kidnapped by the villain. Problem is instead of being afraid, the nerdy hero is just really excited by the shiny gadgets around villains lab. Now, the villain has to jump around trying to catch the hero while hero keeps evading them and pointing at objects asking about what evil scheme they'll use them for. (So far they pointed at two death rays, a particle accelerator, a pencil sharpener and others)

" I suppose I did love you once, too far back in time in to even matter now, if not for some deflected queens." She allowed at last, letting her shoulders drop in a shrugging motion as if was no more than mere weather talk.
"You-"
" Deflected?" Iris squinted her eyes behind the glasses.
"Queen! One Queen! The other is a queen consort! " the 'king' took no time to point out. "And how does this matter in searching for them anyway. He turned to the tracker observing them with her lips pursed.
"Seriously?! You? the ice queen? You loved me?!! Like Love love" The other girl got in before she was interrupted by,
"Are we quite sure deflected is the right word right now?"
"And why the fuck does their sappy saphic ballad matter here?"
The tracker, who had asked the question, was still watching with serious looking eyes, " Perhaps, it doesn't. But," Her face broke into a huge grin then, eyes bright now and put up her finger. "These two would be soo cute together, even their names go together, Elli and Aine, Elliaine. Ah, You can name your child that!" She was almost squealing in delight at the prospect when she finished.
"They can't have a child, they are both girls." The king—oh, my mistake forgive me, the 'king' being his usual infuriating self did not disappoint.
"oh, sod off. " This was the tracker, Lelia.
"Elliaine, is my name."
" Well, you should shouldn't be using Elli then, it literally means Old, I didn't say anything cause I thought it'd be rude. And work on your grammar, deflected does not fit—."
"Shut up, Iris, no one cares." The 'King', whose name I forgot because my constant need to mock his title, snapped, " And You!" He turned to Leila, " Do your fucking job and find the goddamn Queens, Queen! One Queen!."
" Oh, no no." She replied, making sure to dramatize her every movement, "I can't do that, because you see, I'm just here to stall you till they got far enough away."
A tence silence hung unbroken in the air. Well, unbroken until someone proclaimed, "Defected! The word is defected!" And the 'king' shouted for the guards.
"Throw her in the dungeons!" He roared to the bowing guards.
They stood there for a moment, unable to decide if he had the authority to imprison the queen's dear friend.
He fumed even redder {Purple more like if we being honest} a feat previously thought impossible, "By king Ophion's orders!" Ah, Ophion, that was his name.
He was far too busy angrily whispering with Elli, his least detested member of his and the queen's council, to see Leila smile as she was led down.
Two freed, one to go.
And she was already on the way to her.

Do you think
The boy who eats nightmares,
Cries sometimes,
At the violence and sorrows
Hidden in the shameful crevices
Of our fragile minds
—That even his immortal self can't imagine.
The hero and villain fighting and the villians keeps using more and more power pushing the hero farther and farther back as they laugh at the hero trying to fight back and taunt and tease them, the hero biting back their responses. They use a blast a bit too strong and hero is thrown from their spot, the villain laughs and then stops when the hero doesn't reply. Tentatively saying hero and holding their breath waiting for a response, the panic finally settles as it doesn't come. Rushing to the hero's side to find them seriously hurt. Hurriedly taking them to be treated and the villian being overcome with guilt because they've been so disconnected with humanity for so long that they didn't even consider the possibility of the hero being hurt. They didn't want that.
(but I do. Can I have more of that)
It is common knowledge that the villain has a crush on the hero. Anytime a ragged looking civilian comes to hero's workplace, the receptionist points them at hero's office without questions. They frequently visit hero to complaint like they're asking to see a war crime's manager.
" Your villain tried to blow up my establishment!!!"
"FOR THE LAST TIME! they are not my villain!"
*angry white women walks towards hero* "oh for god's sake what did they do now!"
"Can you please keep your villain in check." "They're not my *sigh* I'll try. "

i LOVE a last chance moment honestly. The hero being done with trying to see the goodness in the villian, but not quite. Just stand up to them almost overwhelmed with emotion but holding strong and go " I am done with you, trying to understand you, trying to sway you, all of it, it's your choice now. You can recognise you've done terrible things and decide to do better, you can shake my hand and fight beside me or you can go on with whatever delusions you use to cope, we can keep fighting and this time I swear, " look up at villian defiantly and say " I'll fight to fuking obliterate you. I won't let you hurt any more people either way. "
Both options are peak good content. If they accept it great! But, hear me out, refusing it. The HuRT. next time they fight the villian only then realises how serious Hero was. Everytime they see hero again they can feel hero hardening. Going 'home' every time and they think back to it and imagine every thing that could've happened.
They Regret it but refuse to recognise it for fear of having to face how hard they messed up. and. AND, One day they chin up and face that That. That was exactly what they did when they were given the choice, refuse to face the problem. They aren't going to do that anymore. They are taking that chance now. They are fighting for that chance now.
(should I start writing my posts in a mini story way? This kinda became one halfway and I think it turned out pretty neat. What do you think and pls follow to support)
Love it when the hero's like 'i can fix you' and the Villains like, "I can make you worse." Just mutually destroying everything the others ever known. Both are too stubborn to stop before they've won. Both get too deep.
"You saved me but doomed yourself."
"pffft, being good was just so boring."
I'm trying to be more active y'all pls follow
Bitches with trust issues love enemies to lovers because they love the idea of seeing someones worst traits first and still be able to fall in love them without the everpresent underlying fear of weather their worst is something genuinely evil. It's me. I'm bitches.
Don't mistake me
When I say I'm lovely when I cry it's ugly,
cheeks red and wet with snot.
It's just that I've made a habit of finding tragedy beautiful.

I was made from mismatched pieces,
God's leftovers,
A warrior's heart,
And a dreamer's mind
And a gentle soul
And a chaotic existence.
Then they shoved me in this tiny little useless body, and sent me into battle.
Without ever teaching me to fight,
Or bothering with armour.
—I was never meant to survive, was I?

Enemies to lovers combat things I will give up my mother's first born for— I'm an only child btw
Swordfight interactions when one of them is gaining and the swords are at the other's shoulder and their faces are too close
ESPECIALLY, if the other flirts or kisses the other to distract them
Any type of flirtation intended as a distraction for that matter
When one gets both swords and pins the other between a wall and them with a sword embedded on either side of them like giant thumb tacks
A Bending way too low to avoid an attack and being caught just as their balance fails them
B pulling A's hand hard after and A is flung at B's chest
Abruptly pushing them back after that cause why not (they were flustered and have no social skills)
