Sometimes when I’m listening to curated playlists I imagine complex edits of a character or events of a story to match the music, transitions and all… usually books that have no digital media (films).

Devil’s Fingers
The picture above is of a mushroom thats thought to be a specimen of Clathrus archeri right before its fingers open up. It closely resembles a hand coming out of the ground. It even has the remnants of its tattered sleeves attached to the wrist.
Can I appreciate how good the Yellowjackets soundtrack is? I could have created it myself..

it's been almost 5 years since midnight sun and I still can't get over how many people were apparently SHOCKED to read the first chapter and discover that edward (the vampire protagonist in the vampire novel) does in fact long to murder people and drink their blood
