Lurking in the shadows
Another Adrien piece but with his s1-s5 design this time
I had in mind the moments where Gabriel suspected him of being Chat Noir, hence the choice of purple as a main color for the piece with a contrasting green 🐈⬛️
So am I allowed to theorize that every member of that weird cult has a sentikid or not ?
Like there's already Gabriel and Tomoe, so why not all the others
I elaborated a little more about this theory here
I just watched El Toro de Piedra ! the animation seems to be even better in this episode ? I'd say it's on par with Climatiqueen which only excites me for what's coming next !!
The letter Gabriel addressed to Adrien broke my heart, I understand why Marinette didn't show it. I don't know if it's the best way to explain to him everything, especially since he doesn't express any regret in that letter about what he has done...The audacity to tell Adrien he should also pursue the miraculous lol ? But I feel like Adrien's getting closer to learning the truth
We also got a better understanding of the layout of his room. So the top floor is where he's supposed to sleep but since he's still figuring things out he didn't organise it yet.
I also love how this ep was constructed, the pacing was really good. First, the obvious parallel between Ivan and Adrien and their fathers. But also the fight sequence happening simultaneously with Juleka's song. They gave character dev/depth to not only Ivan but also Juleka, her singing was beautiful and I'm fully in love with her new look <3
ALSO can we talk about THE END SEQUENCE ? TF is that illuminati looking group ?? NATHALIE'S STILL EVIL ?? Look at thiiis
But it also makes sense, it was actually hinted and explains why Tomoe was collaborating with Gabriel. I remember her telling Gabriel in intuition "I want a better world".
But this also means that now we've got multiple grown ass billionaires beefing with Ladybug and Chat noir. Do you think Lila/Cerise is collaborating with them (which would bring her funding and support) as well, or is she working alone ?
yes nathalie is the adult in the situation and IS the one that should be held responsible for telling adrien the truth etc. (like. i mean i personally hold her the most responsible.) but i think also there’s something to be said for the fact that marinette has been outsmarting nathalie’s every move for the last year or so~ despite nathalie throwing her entire life into her efforts. like. there’s something to be said for how nathalie knows ladybug has and can prevent her from doing what she wants to do. and nathalie’s whole history of supervillainy is probably not doing wonders for trusting her own judgement over ladybug’s. and this isn’t me defending nathalie i’m just saying the power differential here is so strange. in some ways it makes sense that nathalie is bowing to the convictions of a 15 year old girl. even if nathalie knew that telling adrien the truth was what was best for him, is there a part of her wondering if marinette would even let her? marinette has led an entire superhero career consisting of not letting nathalie do what she wants to do. nathalie is adrien’s guardian. and marinette is the guardian of the miraculous. and adrien is a boy made from miraculous magic. marinette is acting as the ultimate authority here despite being the child, and it kind of makes sense why nathalie is letting her.
dude if they give felix a British accent in the french dub like they did with the grandparents, I won't be able to take him seriously
I've been theorizing a lot about who the members of the weird cult/council seen in the post-credit scene could be since this post I made.
I think everyone agrees on the fact that each symbol represents a sector that the person leads. For example, Gabriel is the diamond because he's in the fashion industry whole Tomoe is the engine because she has a tech company.
I'm also thinking that all the members could have sentikids just like Gabriel and Tomoe as I've already mentionned in a previous post.. And since we know for a fact that Gabriel was the diamond, it led me to think about the diamond ball a bit more.
I'm referring to that special event that Gabriel and Tomoe organized in "Emotion", where only children of the elite were invited.
Since the members of the weird cult all seem to involve rich people leading a specific sector, what if they were all there with their sentikids ?
Adrien and Kagami are possibly the first sentikids since Gabriel is the one who found the peacock miraculous. So them being the king and queen of the event would take a whole other meaning : Adrien and Kagami may be a representation the new Adam and Eve of this new idealized world these billionaires want to create.
I enjoy that direction and it's a refreshing idea for a kid's show, but they executed it so badly.. the writing was FAR from perfect. Like revolution was such a goofy episode lol. But the idea itself wasn't bad !!
I especially HATED how people in the fandom just casually spread disinformation about the supposed reasons of her "ruined redemption" when there's only one reason : it was planned.
I would've enjoyed more if Chloe failed her redemption in a less extreme way though, there was no need to make her as bad as they did, she should've stayed as some kind of minor antagonist or a more neutral character. Like, she stays a bitch but doesn't cooperate with a literal terrorist.
I'm worried about what they're planning with her for s6 as I wouldn't enjoy her being a major antagonist at all.
Caught myself thinking about Chloe Bourgeois and my unpopular opinions about her (that redemption arcs are so expected in any mean character of any media that she is a refreshingly nuanced and interesting take on a character that refuses to take accountability and go through a redemption arc because she doesn't like the consequences that come with taking responsibility for her bad actions and that I very much prefer how her arc is unfortunately tragic in the original show). I am then shot 57 times.
Little Caprikid doodle <3
Do you have an ideas for a Shadybug and Claw noir version of Coccinelle and Lady noir?
It’s finally here!
They absolutely loath each other and refuse to work together. Ever.
GUYS THE REVEAL IN THE RULER IS EXACTLY LIKE THE REVEAL IN EPHEMERAL I'M TWEAKING
Not kidding. I just checked and Nathaniel says almost exactly the same thing as Ladybug when she revealed herself as Marinette to Adrien :
"S'il-te plaît dit quelque chose" / "Please say something"
"Dis quelque chose" / "Say something"
This coupled with Lila/Cerise mentioning Nathaniel while writing means that there's a big chance this reveal will have consequences later in this season omg...She probably already has suspicions of him being Caprikid...
