Where can I find a friend who shares the same hyperfixation as me? FYI it’s a 128 year old novel about a silly little english lawyer who goes to stay with a weird guy™ who doesn’t show up in mirrors, has questionable bedtime habits, and can scale walls like a lizard.
Once more have I seen the Count go out in his lizard fashion
I wish jonathan harker a very pleasant and normal business trip

I survived paprika hendl and all I got were these queer dreams
Love how often in Dracula everyone is like "oh no, Mina we can't subject your woman's heart to this horror, it may give out from the fright" while shes literally the smartest most equipped person in the book, meanwhile they keep giving Jonathan important, terrifying tasks despite him having trauma induced seizures everytime he sees someone with a beard
As we approach Dracula Daily season again, just a gentle reminder that, even though it has been going for several years, there are still people who are doing this for the first time, have never read Dracula before, and would like to have as spoiler free an experience as possible, so please tag spoilers!
I know it's a little ridiculous to tag spoilers for a 128 year book, but the chronological reading is so important to Dracula Daily and it's good for people to be able to choose their own experience. It can be a bit alienating if they can't explore the tag and interact with other people excited about the same thing for fear of spoilers. If you're not following along closely and just enjoy keeping up with the memes (which is how I usually do), just try your best to see if what you're posting/reblogging is something that's already happened this year or not.
Women can write m/m. Men can write f/f. Asexuals can write filthy smut. Lesbians and gay men can write m/f. It's all arbitrary anyway. Who give a shit.
